Satay Chicken and Fresh Spring Roll
Ed D.

We were in the area and decided to try this place due to the good yelp reviews. Seems like a family restaurant so it feels good to support them. Service was very friendly and fast. I ordered Thai ice coffee and chicken satay and spring rolls for appetizers. The chicken satay was a little tough and they were thinner than what I'm used to. Both apps had good flavor. We ordered family style with pad ki mao , panang curry and ka pow all with chicken. Everything was tasty. Finally mango with sticky rice which was my favorite since it tasted freshly made and the mango was so sweet. Prices were ok. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely and clean. Good Thai restaurant in the area

Pad See Ewe

Great little Thai restaurant. Service was great! Wontons were not my favorite, they were pretty skimpy On the filling and didn't seem to be fried enough. Would not order again. Panang Curry - I always order this at Thai restaurants and this was ok! It definitely had a lot of chicken, minimal veggies and was extra watery. Flavor was pretty good though! Pad See Ewe - if it was based only on this meal alone it would be a 5 stars! This was the best, most flavor pad se ewe I've had! Would come back again simply for this dish! Overall, if it was based just on service and the pad see ewe I'd give it 5 stars, but the other dishes were lacking a bit for me compared to some other Thai restaurants in the area.

Panang chicken. - The image shows a black plastic tray with remnants of a meal, including cucumber slices, shredded chicken, rice, and a piece of red pepper. A white plastic fork rests on the tray. To the left, there is a cup with some soup or sauce, and in the background, a bottle of San Pellegrino sparkling water and a blue napkin are visible on a patterned table surface.

Cooked cucumbers in water is all I can say. My takeout meal was a mess. I ordered panang chicken and it was awful. The sauce was really a watery soup with mushy, boiled cucumbers dumped in with some chicken. Cooked cucumbers? Sauce had no flavor and really didn't seem to have a coconut milk. I've been eating Thai food for 30 years, especially panang chicken. I've no clue what this was. Server was friendly but that didn't help the meal. Won't be back.

Massamon Curry

Yelp reviews brought us in here and like usual, Yelp did not steer me wrong. Charm Thai is a nice little spot located within a large outdoor shopping plaza. The food was great and all 6 of us enjoyed our lunch. The service was very friendly and efficient. The ambiance is very casual. We ordered everything from Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Three Taste Chicken to Massaman Curry. All the food was fresh, flavorful and plentiful. I had the Massamany Curry with Tofu. My only caveat would be was that there were so many pieces of potato and not enough tofu. I actually took half the potatoes out. But, it was still delicious.

Salad papaya - A bowl of Thai papaya salad contains shredded green papaya, carrots, and green beans, topped with peanuts and fried shallots. It is served with lime wedges and slices of cabbage on a red plate, placed on a wooden table. The background shows a person wearing a gray sweater.

Refreshing salad with lots of chewing! Chicken was lightly breaded with good flavor. Egg rolls good and crispy. Service was quick, everyone nice, clean place

The image shows three Thai dishes on a wooden table: a bowl of curry with vegetables and chicken, a stir-fried dish with meat and herbs on a tray, and a mound of white rice on a small plate. A person wearing a dark jacket is partially visible in the background. The dishes are typical of Thai cuisine, including curry, stir-fry, and rice, served in a casual dining setting.

The service is excellent and food tastes amazing. We have been here several times and had different menu items each time.. looking forward to testing more!

It was a cute spot with great service. It probably wouldn't be my friend choice to go back to. The pad Thai had a great amount of spice but the noodles were more mushy than the usual pad thai.

Three Taste Chicken & Pad See Ewe - The image shows two Asian dishes on a wooden table. One is a white plate with fried vegetables, including broccoli, green onions, and other vegetables, garnished with sesame seeds. The other is a tray lined with parchment paper, containing stir-fried noodles with vegetables such as carrots, bean sprouts, and green onions, garnished with cilantro. A small white bowl of rice is also visible in the background.

Food was blah- overly sweet and processed tasting, Mango juice came from a plastic jug, pricey. Service was good.

Hidden Gem Alert!…read more Tuk Tuk is a local hidden gem that is secretly tucked away behind Dave & Buster's. There is a walking-only path that connects the Avalon Apartment building, the Ice Centre, the AMC movie theater and Tuk Tuk. Since there is no curb-appeal given its unique location, I am sure plenty of people are missing out on this spot. That said, since you are reading this review you won't miss it! When you walk in you will quickly notice unique features like the beautiful wall art or the Grab-and-go fridges stocks with non-alcoholic (and alcoholic) beverages, as well as some ice cream treats! You will also see a self-service POS system but you can always opt to order with the extremely friendly workers instead. If you don't know what to order, they will happily steer you in the right direction. The food was 1) delicious, 2) very affordable, 3) prepared fresh very quickly! This time I got the Wonton Soup and it hit the spot! You can dine-in or order it to-go (which I did this time). The packaging was solid and kept my food warm without any leaks or issues. Overall, I will be coming back and you absolutely should give Tuk Tuk a visit! (Maybe as a meal before catching a movie at the AMC a few steps away?)

Bangkok Avenue - Pad Thai

Bangkok Avenue delivered a large take-out order for five people last nite that was, from start to…read morefinish, deeply forgettable. The common thread across every dish was not inconsistency but uniform blandness. What arrived on our table lacked taste, energy, and intention, as if the kitchen was simply executing recipes without engagement or care. The moo ping should have been a highlight sweet, smoky, caramelized, and alive with char. Instead, it arrived hollow and lifeless, missing the marinade and fire that define the dish. There was no depth, no fragrance, no sense that the cook believed in what was being served. The accompanying rice was merely filler, and an additional order of Thai fried rice continued the same pattern: edible, but flat, dull, and entirely uninspired. My wife's gluten-free Pad Thai with tofu, a dish built on balance and brightness, was especially disappointing. It lacked acidity, sweetness, umami, and spice every note that gives Pad Thai its character. The noodles felt seasoned out of obligation rather than intention. It was food that offered no pleasure and no reason to return to it, ultimately left unfinished out of sheer indifference. This experience was not about spice tolerance, dietary restriction, or personal preference. Five people ordered widely, and the conclusion was unanimous: nothing stood out, nothing lingered, nothing satisfied. When every plate is this muted, it signals more than an off night it suggests a chef cooking without inspiration, without curiosity, and without soul. Thai cuisine is bold by nature. Having eaten throughout Thailand, we know that even the most modest street stall delivers food with clarity, confidence, and heart. What was served here bore little resemblance to that tradition. Last night (contrary to other nights and lunches in the past) , Bangkok Avenue did not simply miss the mark it stripped Thai food of the very element that makes it special: taste. Dish was a bit under-seasoned, could have used more salt and depth of flavor. I ordered medium spice and then added more spice to make up for the lack of flavor. I'd come back to try some more traditional Thai dishes, but was a little disappointed with the ramen.

Our server was I think the owner, she was running around like a mad woman, lol. She had to service all the tables and take care of all the customers coming in for to-go orders (there were a lot). I'm super impressed by the amount of output of food this place was cooking! I really enjoyed my pad Thai! The flavor was on point and the spice level was perfect (medium for me). My friend loved that her tom yum was actually spicy. While the service was a little slow, it was totally understandable! I grew up in a restaurant so I know the pain. Loved the food, would definitely come back!
