My favorite go to takeout Chinese in arvada. As someone who's gluten free, it's a pleasure to be able to eat Chinese again!

Not super impressed. The food was... mid. I ordered the Vietnamese rice combination plate. The chicken was bland. They did not include any fish sauce or Sriracha or basil like pho places always do. The garnish was weird. It was iceberg lettuce and sprouts. I wasn't sure what to do with it, but it was missing a lot of the normal things you get when ordering a Vietnamese rice plate. The food wasn't terrible, but it is at the bottom end of the same dish I have had at many other places. As far as service, I called in my order. I walked in and stood there for a solid 5 minutes. At one point someone came out from the back, silently placed my order behind the counter, and then disappeared into the back without a word or greeting. We first tried Treasure Pot while visiting our kids and grandkids in Arvada, CO. Treasure Pot offers both dine in and carry out options. With younger grandchildren, we have always opted for carry out and never dined in. Great menu with lots of options. Something for everyone. With 6 of us ordering (4 adults and 2 kids), we always end up with a variety of meals. Everything I've ever ordered from Treasure Pot has been great. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We always get take out here. The staff is always so friendly. Our go to's are the sesame chicken, pad Thai and lo mein. The sesame chicken is above!! We love it! Was served burnt pork and when I complained it was dry, they said, "it's a lean cut of pork" which is obviously ridiculous. Unsurprising I was the only one in the entire restaurant at 12 noon. Really disappointing. Will never return and never recommend. read more

We ordered 3 items for lunch - kung pao chicken, beef with vegetables, and lettuce wraps. My dad didn't like the beef. I got the kung pao- it was quite salty, even for Chinese take-out. My mom was fine with the lettuce wraps. read more

It's Christmas Eve, they are SLAMMED! we ordered delivery and it came perfect, hot and delicious! We love treasure pot for a quick lunch drive thru starting when my son was as AWest, delivery during covid, and even on holidays. We love treasure pot! read more

One of the best Asian food restaurants we have enjoyed. Oh my. Great, clean, well prepared, delicious food. Large portions. The waitress, Midori, answered our questions, and had recommendations for low salt, different Sauces, and substitutions. I am from New York, I ddid not expect great food in a very unassuming, modest restaurant. I ordered Vietnamese, the other 3 guests had huge servings of Chinese food. We took home 5 take home boxes. I don't usually write bad reviews if you see my profile, but there is no other way to describe the food here as downright awful. I came to pick up their appetizer platter for guests arriving this afternoon. I was severely embarrassed to even put it on my coffee table. If it can be purchased frozen and put in a deep fryer, they buy it. I live three minutes away and the food was cold. The meat was super chewy, and you couldn't chew through any of it. For $20 it was a rip-off. Located directly across the street from "A "West High School, I'm sure it's passible for the kids who go there, but not for grown adults. Yes, the place was clean. While sitting there I watched the cook come from behind the curtain, use the restroom and re appear what looked to be unwashed hands. We just ordered from treasure pot because our favorite go-to Asian restaurant is closed on Mondays. We've done so before and it's been acceptable as a fall back, when you're craving Asian cuisine. Won't do that again as everything we ordered was bad! The sesame chicken looked red so I thought it was a regional variation using some unfamiliar spice but after tasting it, I'm certain they used frozen boneless, buffalo style chicken nuggets! Used to be Tam's, for us older folks. I love this place! It is my go-to take out. Alway tastes amazing, portions are nothing to complain about and the prices are comparable to other places. They have always taken and delivered an accurate order and never disappointed! I would highly recommend Treasure Pot to anyone that asked! No wonder they named it Treasure Pot. Almost everything I've ordered has been delicious. Doesn't matter if it's picked up or eaten in. Try Pho GA. It is Chicken soup you can't make at home. This is a wanna be Asian restaurant The following selections were nothing like I have had from other Asian places War wonton soup. Usually has pork and shrimp this one was all vegetables and strange squash and broccoli was some of those. The flavor was good. Chow fun thin noodles is a greasy flavorless coating and not the usual brown sweet Garvey with wide flat noodles. Very greasy lacks flavor. The pork fried rice had a strange tiny rice that was used and also lacked flavor. They did use large pork pieces that I liked. YIKES! We ordered here when our first choice was closed. The order availability time also fit into our schedule. Never again. I understand that places are short staffed, but they gave us the pick up time. Our order was available 30 minutes AFTER they said it would be. One table occupied inside, and no one else in to pick up food. Missing some things that were not critical, like the chips for hot and sour soup. But the soup was almost tasteless. Certainly no hot OR sour. I have never had anything so bland and tasteless. The fried rice wasn't. That's the only way I can describe it. The food was tasteless, lacking flavors and texture. Well it seems most of the negative reviews have to do with delivery wait times, maybe that is not their forte.... I have always dined inside or ordered takeout and all I can say is wow! I tend to like my chinese dishes a little spicier than most. This place will actually make the dish hotter when you ask for "extra spicy" ! Most every other Chinese I've tried in the Denver area does not know what spice is... I've tried several items but my favorites so far are the Buddha's Delight (mixed vegetables) and the Kung Pao Chicken, The fired rice is light, it is not very fried and the egg rolls re okay but I am very please with he quality of all the entrees I've had. Food was delivered hot and tasty. Had my favorite Sesame Tofu, my granddaughter discovered she loves Orange Chicken and when there was a question about my order notes they called me to confirm. Very good customer service and food. Sent freebies like fried crab wontons and wonton strips. Plenty leftovers as the portions were generous. Late and cold. We ordered last night and they gave us an hour estimate and it came in 90 minutes after multiple calls asking where are food was. The food was cold and can only imagine how long it waited under a heat lamp. I understand delivery times are long these days but an hour and a half is unacceptable. I would've been happy to pick it up if they could've made it much sooner. They could've given a better time estimate. They could've made the food fresh before delivery. I made a $60 order for delivery. After waiting an hour and a half my food still wasn't here, so I called and they put me on hold for 10 minutes and then I had to call back three other times before they actually answered. They acted like it was no big deal. They said they would cancel the transaction but later that night it showed up on my credit card. Not only are they too incompetent to deliver their orders, they are too incompetent or dishonest to cancel a transaction. Don't order from them. read more

Very very disappointed with this restaurant, No where inside the restaurant or on there menu or website do they state what is inside of such foods. I have an sever allergy to pork and red meat but no where and I mean no where does it state there's pork in the Wonton Soup, I spent 11 hours in the hospital last night because of an allergic reaction. I could have actually died because of your carelessness!!! Treasure Pot you need to do better and be more respectful to allergies to foods. Everyone has them and ingredients should be stated on every menu item. I should know I have 15 years of working in food services. Food was very mediocre. Everything kind of sweet. Ordered a "Thai" dish that was described as sriracha beef. It was sweet which was weird also described as beef with broccoli and basil and sriracha sauce. Sounded good but it came with no broccoli but instead came with like 6 other vegetables like cauliflower and bell peppers bamboo that was not mentioned at all. Really strange like the chef does not even know what he is supposed to be cooking or what is on menu! And sriracha should not be a sweet sauce. This little place has been here for years . It recently moved because they tore down the original strip mall it was in . They moved to the old Tams right by AWest ! I cannot say moving locations has changed much . It's not horrible , it's not amazing , it's a very middle of road ! I usually get fried rice or sweet and sour tofu when I order Chinese .
