Our family of 20 came here today for a nice hot bowl pho! This place did not disappoint and staff were super friendly. They accommodated right away and didn't miss any of our orders. The broth was savory and they gave us so much veggies with the perfect portion of meats. A lot of us ordered the viet iced coffee which was definitely what we needed. The owners were wonderful. I was really hoping to find my new go-to pho restaurant, but unfortunately I was let down a bit. I got the beef pho, Small, number 16 (Rare Steak, Brisket, Flank, Soft Tendon & Tripe), and it satisfied the craving, but the broth was light (not very flavorful and lacked depth, which is one of the most heartwarming parts of pho) and there was little tripe and tendon. The positives were the noodles were some of the best I've had - springy, well cooked, and plentiful. The basil, sprouts, and jalapenos were fresh. The service was friendly and quick. This review is actually closer to 3.5 stars. I made a phone order for a take out; we got 3 items, mostly grilled pork with vermicelli. So the service was 4 stars because the man who answered the phone was really helpful and friendly. I got there about 15 min late to pick up the food, but they were nice. The food itself is more like 3 stars. Coming from Philadelphia where we have significantly more Vietnamese communities I kind of am spoiled. The flavour lacked a bit. I do have to be fair, maybe dining in will be different. Next time I will dine in and see. read more

First things first: I'm a Californian and have tried countless of Pho establishments. Denver locals do not know the QUALITY of Pho they have here. The broth is super fresh, and has no taste of MSG which most Pho restaurants unfortunately use. The meat slices are perfect and plentiful. A small size is super satisfying. The noodles aren't too soft and perfectly cooked to the right texture. This place is a MUST if you're in Denver. FYI: There is a right way to eat Pho and it's by putting all the veggies (bean sprouts, mint, onions, jalapeño, and squeeze lime) for the traditional taste. It'll elevate the broth. read more

The food here is absolutely outstanding! I had driven by this gem in the Wadsworth shopping plaza countless times without realizing it was there. Thankfully, when a friend had a craving for Pho and I was looking for somewhere nearby, I decided to give it a shot. And wow--everything exceeded my expectations! The chicken fried rice was incredibly flavorful, and the chicken Pho, which we ordered in a medium size, was both massive and delicious. I also tried the crab cheese wontons, which were fantastic. My best friend, who is Vietnamese, shared this meal and gave it an enthusiastic A++. Although we got our food to go this time, I'm already looking forward to dining in and enjoying this fantastic place again soon! read more

I've been coming here once or twice a year since the first Obama administration and I return because it's good, solid pho. They have sriracha sauce at each table but not the little pots of chili sauce, yet the prices are reasonable and even if they are busy the service is pretty fast. Tables and carpets could probably use a thorough cleaning and while the seats are clean they are aged and slightly lumpy. While I am not a boba guy from what the people who were having it said, it's good. Casual restaurant with good pho. Four stars if you like boba with Viet food. read more

Food tasted good but we quickly regretted eating here once I visited the restroom afterwards. Seriously nasty! Why are so many restaurants so lazy! They don't realize 10 minutes of cleaning can make such a huge difference and leave customers healthy and feeling good about visiting. Update: my 7yo daughter, who typically has an iron gut, became sick (vomiting) about an hour after having the shrimp pho. I would completely avoid until they clean up the place! The 1 meal total cost was almost $30 when said and done, it was small portion, cold and the chicken was dry and tasted old like it was precooked and then warmed up before delivery. I don't think I will ever order from Pho 65 again, this was not what ordered and I even called the restaurant and some how it was not their fault... Hoping this was going to be a new "go to spot" since it's close to home but unfortunately it proved to be a disappointment. I can deal with different tastes, different takes on recipe standards, changing things up to fit a specific regions culinary preferences, that's the fun of dining out especially since phó and Vietnamese cuisine is prevalent in the metro Denver area, but overall this was a miss on my radar. The menu has all the standard offerings you would find at most pho restaurants. Wait staff seemed busy though the place maybe had 4-5 tables seated and half were digging into their meals. I overhear the waitress say to a table of 2 "thanks for waiting, when it's cold people can get slow" I got worried this was going to be a long dinner due to the cooks taking their time. Water was brought to the table with straws but no ice, other tables had water with ice, hmmm... I placed the order for a few different plates to give my standards a try, fortunately the food came out quicker than anticipated after hearing to excuse due to the cold weather. Everything looked great but didn't smell like anything really. When I sit down to a big bowl of pho I want the smell of the broth to waft up and greet me with a warm smile, the steam to fog my glasses and the meat slices to cook right before my eyes. That didn't happen here. The broth near tepid when it reached the table was near translucent and devoid of any real seasoning or flavor. The combo rice plate, like the pho bowl looked good but did not entice with flavor or aroma. Side apps were ok, tasted pre-bagged or boxed to my palate. read more

This is my only PHO experience and positive in every way. Service excellent. Food options with variety to include appetizers and lots of PHO naturally. For a treat , we enjoyed a Boba Tea to go. I had the green matcha which had pleasant flavor and was nicely blended. This is a favorite venue for my son and glad to be included. Will definitely return and look forward to trying other choices. The customer service was excellent. After our meal, we enjoyed a Booba Tea to go. That was a nice touch to the meal. I will be returning and next time I am going to try another menu option and it may be a different PHO Choice. Easy destination to get to as it is right off of 64th and Wads. My Pho was brisket and steak with fresh toppings provided to accent the experience. Another review mentioned bathroom not clean but this was not my experience. Pho 65 used to be great, but not anymore. The quality of their food has gone down dramatically, and the service is beyond bad. But what is most disturbing is that the place is utterly filthy! The floors haven't been swept for months, the tables and chairs/benches are sticky and dirty. Can only imagine what the kitchen looks like! I have never actually eaten here, but: THEIR BOBA SMOOTHIES ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD!! They're the most delicious smoothies I've ever tried in my life - especially the mango flavor. I stopped here on my way home from work after deciding I was going to make chicken noodle soup because I was sick. I normally never get Pho to go because the noodles can get soggy, but my cravings instantly came alive driving by and I knew I was not going to make it sitting in a restaurant with how bad I was feeling. I arrived and was instantly greeted and handed a menu. The server took my order (classic Rare steak Pho tai) and came back shortly with the broth separated into a container with the noodles, steak, jalapenos, green onions, sprouts, basil etc. inside another. I realized after I had already left that I forgot to ask for Hoisin sauce, but figured I would live. When I got home I was excited to find that low and behold a ramekin of Hoisin sauce that I believe was mixed with a little Sriracha was inside. Everything was delicious! I think this place is really really good. I live right down the street, and always stop by for some yummy Vietnamese. The service is fast, the food is consistently delicious. I make no claims on how Pho is since I never really liked it. I mostly order rice plates. I opt for fried rice instead of white rice. Always yummy and fresh. One time I was just walking around the neighborhood alone. It got late and I was hungry, so I stopped by. Later the owner walked me out of the restaurant.
