We always get takeout. Doesn't necessarily feel "authentic", but it's always delicious, and fast. Be sure to declare any allergies. They're very responsive to it, and their diligence to our note in the order has saved us a couple times. The spicing consistency is a bit lackadaisical, but they err on the side of under spicing, so you can pick it up at home if you need to. Still waiting for the one mind blowing dish that will give this a 5 star, but everything we've had is pretty good. read more

On this trip I had the chicken pad Thai, it was pretty good but it wasn't the best pad Thai I've had. The sauce seemed a little sticky rather than saucy so there was a texture issue for me. I was surprised to see the peanuts and the peppers on the side instead of sprinkled over it which made it a little cumbersome to evenly distribute it myself. I was in the mood for big, bold flavors. I will get those flavors next time I go. I ordered medium spice (3+ out of 5), but it wasn't very spicy at all. Maybe it is due to the location near the college campus, but I have ordered medium spice at other Thai restaurants and the dish has made me sweat. That said, the Massaman Curry was delicious, especially after I added some chili oil. My son had Drunken Noodles and practically licked the plate clean. My other son had the Tom Yum Soup and loved it. I would recommend planning on appetizers or dessert as the portions are not huge. However, the price was appropriate. I usually have leftovers at Thai restaurants, but I ate every bite. In some ways, that is a good thing, but I love leftover curry and rice! The service was fast and friendly. The yellow curry was great! I enjoyed the soup and pretty much all the noodle dishes were yummy.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. Ordered take out. Plenty of parking. Restaurant was clean and smelled wonderful. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Able to order take out easily and was ready quickly. Great customer service. Ordered Pad Se-ew. Not sure if because ride home was 1/2 hr away, but the rice noodles were all clumped and congealed together upon arriving home. I thought this would affect the taste, but it didn't. The noodles were soft and nicely seasoned and tasted well. Had a great light garlic soy taste. Restaurant had no problems with my request to remove the eggs. Would consider ordering this again. Also ordered rice soup with shrimp. I definitely wouldn't consider this a "soup". I was expecting something like a congee but what I received was actually just a container of full grain soggy rice with minimal if any broth in it. I will say the flavor of the rice was pleasant with a hint of garlic. The spring onion on top was light, very fresh and enjoyable. Came with 6 shrimp. The shrimp was minimally seasoned, but fresh and tasted good. Probably wouldn't order this again, but enjoyed trying something new. Also ordered the Pad Preow Wan Fish in sweet and sour sauce with pineapples and mixed veggies. The fish which I think was either a flounder or a sole fish came separately packaged from the sauce & veggies. I appreciated that it was separated as the fish would've been way too soggy by the the time arrived home. The fish itself was 2 very large fillet pieces. Fish was lightly fried and had a delicate light seasoning and did have a pleasant taste. For us the sweet and sour sauce was just overly sweet for our liking. Possibly the pineapple pieces were over ripe? Didn't care for the sweet and sour sauce at all and wouldn't order that sauce again, but did enjoy the fish. Lastly, ordered a side order of Roti. I'm used to the light flaky Malay or Trini roti. Was served 2 large portions of Roti. But this Roti was absolutely soaked in oil! just to pick it up, my fingers were covered in glistening oil. Upon biting the roti, my whole mouth filled with oil. Some parts were flaky albeit still oily, but overall this roti bread appeared to have been left inside the oil way too long to the point that it was completely saturated and drenched in oil. Unfortunately the excessive oil made it unpalatable. Some hits, some misses. Undecided if will return or not. read more

This weekend we got some seriously impressive takeout from Cafe de Bangkok. We ordered right off their website and it was delivered in a timely manner, perfectly in-tact and still warm. If I could eat their pad thai every day, I would. (I suppose I could because they're open every day!). But seriously, one of the best pad thais I've ever had. Perfect flavor and the noodles didn't stick together. I got it with tofu and without egg to make it vegan. My partner got the Kao Soi, which he orders thai hot so I can't even bear to smell it let alone taste it. He really enjoyed it though, and it looked mighty delicious. We shared an order of the fried veggie spring rolls as an appetizer. Next time, I'll order two orders so we can each have 3 of them now that I know how tasty they are. So flavorful and well-textured, and you could tell they were fried in fresh oil. For dessert, we shared the sticky rice with mango, which is one of my favorite desserts of all time. The mango was melt-in-your-mouth ripe and sweet. That, combined with the perfect sticky rice and the sweet coconut milk at the bottom, was all I could ever dream of. That dessert is very sweet, so I couldn't eat the whole thing, but it's perfect for a few bites. Ultimately, as I do at any Thai restaurant, I ordered way too much food and was fat and happy for the rest of the night. I even had half of my pad thai to enjoy the next day. Great spot. They do dine in and it looked nice, but we got takeout. The chili fried rice was SO good! I got medium heat and it was the perfect spicy level. The fried tofu was excellent! I paid $1.50 for extra veggies and next time I won't do that. It seemed like a normal amount of veggies so I won't pay extra next time for (there was only one mushroom slice and one broccoli!) Best Thai food in FoCo, hands down. We've tried a few other places with high ratings but they just didn't make the cut. Arrived with my wife around 12:30PM on a Saturday, when the Football game was going on at CSU nearby. We were quickly greeted and told to sit anywhere we liked. Started with the crispy fried spring rolls (with chicken), which were served in minutes, and perfectly cooked. Some of the very best fried spring rolls we've ever had, served with a nice dipping sauce. Then had the papaya salad, with medium spice (they have four levels: mild, medium, hot, and Thai Hot). It was just right. My wife ordered the Jungle Curry with chicken, hot, with coconut rice. This particular curry comes w/o coconut milk, which was a first for both of us. It was delicious, and the 'hot' level is pretty hot, more than gringo hot for sure. We wen't be going for Thai Hot, but at least those who really love extremely spicy dishes won't be disappointed here. I ordered the ginger chicken to share with my wife (I wanted the crispy pork, but she wasn't feeling it today so I compromised), also hot-level. It was nicely flavored with red and green peppers, green onions, white onions, ginger (of course). We took home an order of the Thai grilled chicken for my son, which was a generous 1/2 chicken spiced and grilled, and served with a tangy sweet & sour, and a soy-based dipping sauce which I'm sure had fish sauce, the Thai way. I sampled a bit, and it was tender and quite tasty. We'll definitely be going back to try more dishes here soon. read more

Not sure why I've not been here before now...but so glad I finally made it! Wow, great Thai and great service. Was Jonesing for Thai food and have tried many options around Fort Collins....except for Cafe De' Bangkok! I can honestly say this is my new go to place for awesome Thai food. Ordered Pineapple Fried Rice with pork and hot temp...the yellow curry sauce was amazing. Loved it Pad Prik Pao with beef and ordered hot as well...could have went to Thai hot, but was soooo good. Very flavorful. Massaman Curry with chicken ordered mild - absolutely love this. The spice was spot on...turmeric, cinnamon, star anise,cumin, cloves and nutmeg was perfectly seasoned. WOW! I was impressed that's for sure. My friend has been raving about Cafe de Bangkok for literally the for the last three years. FoCo is just a bit of a drive. So I was never convinced to make the drive. I was like okayyy...let's make the trip up there and we did. And it was well worth it. We got Thai iced tea and it wasn't super sweet and I love that. I hate when the iced tea is too sweet. We started off with Kai Tao Namba. The chicken was crisp. Very good. Then for entrees we went crazy and got a lot of food. And we knew we would have left overs. We got Kao Soi, Pad Kee Mao, curry fried rice, Tom yum goong and kao ka moo. Our server was like that's a lot of food. Haha. We told her we drove up from Denver and wanted left overs. So Thai food is comfort food for me. When I get homesick I tend to crave Thai food at least that was the case in college. So I have high standards growing up on it. So the Kao Soi was on the sweeter side but not in a bad way. I love the crispy noodles. Yummm. And the chicken was perfectly tender! A plus in my book. The pad kee mao, we got spicy and it definitely lived up to Thai spicy. There was the perfect kick to it. And will admit, best drunken noodles I have to date at a Thai restaurant. The curry fried rice was flavorful, but could have definitely used a little more spice. We got it medium but we all agreed that we would have liked it more with spice. And the koa ka moo, OMG! Mind blown. It was so good. Super flavorful. It reminded me of a soup dish my mom makes. All the food was AMAZING! Obviously, we had to end our meal with sweet roti. I always get the old style pad Thai (no peanuts, nuts are not my favorite) medium spicy. This place can pack a punch so be well aware! Cafe de Bangcock has been a saving force for my stomach during this pandemic. Prior to Covid, they didn't do delivery (that I know of) and, while it can be costly ordering through NOSH, it is totally worth it. My food is consistently fresh, delicious, and some of the best Asian cuisine in Fort Collins. While I am no expert on Thai, Chinese, or Japanese quisine, I will confidently state that they do not skimp on quality when it comes to the rice they use; it is obvious they pay for a higher quality rice. Cheep rice cooked poorly can ruin the greatest of flavors/dishes. If you aren't sure what to order, some of my favorites are the traditional fried rice and the ginger stir-fry. Ordered pickup the first time. Was not too impressed based off the high reviews. We order basic Vegetable pad Thai spicy, chicken pad Thai, Rangoon, fried spring rolls. Vegetable pad Thai had hardly any vegetables in it. It was mostly noodle. Their version of spicy for pick up must be to just add pepper flakes on the side... or sauce on the noodles. The noodles were sticky but no flavor on them. Chicken pad thai... maybe 6 pieces of small chicken. Still not taste. I really love this place and probably eat here or have takeout one a week. Very bad experience last night. I ordered 2 meals and a kids meal for takeout. Got a call back saying they do not do takeout for kids meals. Ridiculous. I had ordered two full size meals. So I asked her what I could get for my 4 year old. She said a side of the rice noodle with the sauce and she would add chicken and carrots. They sent me a pack of boiled/steamed chicken and carrots with nothing on it and a small carton of wide egg noodles (that were so over cooked it was a mush) that had a dash of sauce on it so most of the noodles were white and others had a bit of sauce. They refunded for that and I appreciated that but to be honest we won't be doing take outs from here anymore. If we can't get a small plate for our daughter it's not worth eating here since we also need to feed our child (who was super upset cause she was looking forward to her Thai food) I could understand not letting people only order kids meals to go but we had ordered two full plates. 4 stars for usually great food and nice staff. We've been eating here for 6 or so years and it's still one of our very favorite restaurants hands down. They expanded the restaurant which is nice. Before the expansion, it was sometimes difficult to get a table and there would be a line of people waiting to be seated when tables opened up. That didn't deter us though - the food is SO good that it was worth the wait. They now have two rooms with booths and tables. There are still lines at peak times but they're able to get more people in and out faster with more seating. Everything we've tried has been delicious. We've never been disappointed. The menu is quite large, so there's a lot to choose from and they are vegetarian and vegan friendly and have the menu well marked so you know which items can be made vegetarian or vegan. Here are the things we've tried: Fresh Tofu Spring Rolls with Peanut Dipping Sauce Appetizer, Thai Ice Tea, Traditional Pad Thai w/Tofu, Crispy Wonton Pad Thai w/Tofu, Pad Se-ew w/Tofu, Pad Ke Mao w/Tofu, and Kao Soi (vegan version).
