    Thai iced coffee
    Ed D.

My friend and I came here for lunch right when it opened Sunday noon. The place is nice. We sat at a comfortable booth. Service was good. I got Thai Iced Coffee and it was a big glass which was ok by me. We also got wontons and chicken satay for appetizers. I got the chicken panang curry. All the dishes were tasty. Prices were good. A good Thai restaurant if you're in the area but nothing I would drive far away for.

Decided to go check out Bann Thai for lunch. The ambiance of the dining area is really nice. Their menu selections are excellent. The service was okay. The food we ordered were all delicious. We will definitely come back here again.

Had a craving for some Thai food and happened upon this place. Was a great meal. A very large menu and everything looks great. We had Thai tea to start and it's always delicious. We ordered the fresh roll with shrimp for an appetizer. I love the crunchy veggie's with the peanut dipping sauce. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and we also ordered the noodle dish with chicken. The curry was very good. Mild with just a touch of heat. We also ordered basil fried rice to take home. Nice, comfortable atmosphere and friendly service. Will go back and try a few new menu items.

I wanted to try a local Thai restaurant. I ordered Phad "Pad" Thai. Unfortunately this was not at the level I would have expected. I had the food delivered to where I'm staying and they didn't provided plastic ware or chopsticks or anything to eat with. It was very bland and very little taste but It had a odd texture to the food. I ended up not eating it ultimately. With all do respect. I review a lot of restaurants... I would have to say take a hard pass on Bann.

    Chicken pa-nang, very tasty!

Discovered a new Thai restaurant in Fort Collins and we absolutely love it. The menu is quite varied with many selections but I ended up choosing the chicken panang with medium spice. The chicken was plentiful and the vegetables were also plentiful which made for a nice big full meal. The taste of the panang curry was actually very very good and would definitely order this dish again in the future but we're anxious to try some other selections from the menu. The only critique I have is I wish that they had a lunch menu with a slightly smaller amount of food in a slightly lower price. Still, will not deter me from coming back and trying more delicious dishes.

    Yellow Curry with chicken

I've only eaten Thai a handful of times, so I won't qualify as an expert, but I enjoyed my meal last night. Tried the yellow curry (chicken with jasmine rice). It's one of the milder dishes and definitely doesn't pack a ton of heat. The dish was flavorful and hit the spot. Service was definitely slow and we had to sometimes work to get our servers attention (to pick up the bill, etc.) But they were working hard and likely short-staffed. Not uncommon when dining out these days. Server was friendly and kept water glasses filled for the most part. Brisk business on a Monday evening. I'd recommend.

Ordered thru DoorDash so thankful they are on there! Pad Thai with fried tofu. Excellent! I'd do without the veggies but that's my personal preference. Large portions. Also ordered the mango sticky rice (very good) and chicken pad Thai. What I appreciated the most was the medium heat was perfect. So many times I get no heat or too much and my mouth was on fire. This was perfect. Well packaged for reheating too. Much more than normal amounts of tofu and chicken.

I found a decent Thai restaurant in Fort Collins, pretty close to authentic. My biggest gripe with Thai restaurants are always with the Pad Thai preparation. Mainly the issue is very little sauce, fewer ingredients, and leaving out important details. This place has way too much sauce, but it helps to authentic the dish. No dried shrimp, absent of eggs, few peanuts. But they had sprouts, carrots and cilantro so it was tasty. The chicken satay was nicely marinated and grilled to perfection. The portion size was adequate but the peanut sauce was a little thick, leaving me to believe it's not scratch made. That said, it had a nice flavor and a spicy kick to it. The fact that it wasn't served with cucumber/onion salad was a disappointment. I always love the balance of peanut sauce and vinegar liquid on the chicken. They convinced me to save money on my glass of wine by purchasing the entire bottle. My mistake was to agree without seeing the wine list. I purchased a $20 bottle of Pinot Grigio labeled 'Kirkland' from Costco. My fault. I'll definitely return while I'm staying in CO to try some other dishes.

Pad Phad Thai Noodles with tofu

We moved up here about a year ago and have been trying to find a new Thai restaurant to replace our favorite back home. I think this is the one. We got the pad Thai and the drunken noodles for a great price considering the portions were huge. My partner was able to fill a normal-size dinner plate 3x! The drunken noodles were very saucy and flavorful, arguably a little oily but I don't mind that. I did medium-spice and it was about as hot as a medium salsa. The pad Thai, "No complaints, it was great". Would definitely recommend!

Great food and friendly staff! My daughter says their Thai tea is the best in town. I love the yellow curry.

Her recommendations to try anything here are spot on. The food was A1. We had a soup bowl Koi-sho (sp?) with beef, a chicken Thai basil stir fry, crab cheese, and spring rolls. We only regret we can't return in the near future, because we don't live in Colorado. It was completely worth the trip across town from our hotel to enjoy authentic food. The ingredients were fresh, the sauces were put together with expertise, the presentation was just right. I thought the spice level of 1 was perfect--heat that didn't overwhelm the other flavors. My husband didn't complain about his level 2. He thought it was great, but he wouldn't go higher. The restaurant itself is basic tables and chairs, but each table has a beautiful live flower rooting in water. Everything looked and felt clean.

We went there for ramen and were all bummed about that. It was later on a Sat night and we were the only family in the place the whole time. But the chef was very friendly, the cream cheese wontons were the best, and one or two of our dishes were really good. The curry had only a couple potatoes that were way too hard, and it was limited on veggies, but the broths/curries were good flavors. They have mango (in season) sweet coconut rice, which we all love!

From the moment we walked in - I'm recovering from recent shoulder surgery and dressing isn't easy so I didn't look my best - I discreetly asked the hostess if it was ok for me to come in looking kinda grungy and she sweetly told me I looked cute. Then a very friendly young man led us to our table. The place was packed, there were a lot of families with children as well as older folks like my hubby and me. Our waiter was also very friendly. Hubby and I usually each order soup, then we order 2 appetizers and one entree to split when we go to Asian restaurants. We ordered the same here. The egg drop soup was heartier than we expected, it had corn and little bit of chicken in it. It was delicious. Our appetizers, spring rolls and wrapped shrimp, were delicious and they were served on beds of noodles with sliced carrots and cucumbers around the edges of the plates. We had to ask our waiter for carry out containers before our entree even arrived. Our entree, pork with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and oyster sauce was delicious....just like everything else was. And since we ordered too much we had enough left over for dinner the following night. Hubby and I usually go for Thai or Japanese when we're in the mood for Asian cuisine and we have our favorite spots in FoCo for those (I prefer Thai, he prefers Japanese). We now have our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The food was great and the service was very friendly!
