First time visiting this restaurant, and have to say we were so pleased we went (5 of us). We were very pleased and surprised that they offer a kids menu, with "kids prices" and a good variety of dishes. The curries (one red, one pineapple, and one Mussaman), bowl of Tom Kha soup, and Pad Thai the adults had were really tasty, and absolutely packed with a variety of well cooked vegetables. We started with the fresh vegetable spring rolls, and a cup of Tom Kha soup. Very fresh ingredients! We finished with their homemade non-dairy coconut ice cream, which was delicious and the perfect way to end our meal. Our waitress was extremely polite and efficient, and made us feel very welcome. They also have a nice covered seating area at the front of the restaurant. Highly recommended and will not hesitate to make a return visit. read more

This is such a cute little place. The food is pretty standard for any thai restaurant and it tasted delicious. I got the yellow curry and loved it. The service was also great. We came with a big group and were served quickly. We also came from Denver and wanted to walk around the downtown after eating. I heard a bit about Thai Station and figured we would ordered for pickup. We ordered a bunch of options from pad Thai, mee pow, yellow curry, and a few main dishes. I also orders won ton and veggie egg rolls. We are almost all vegetarian so those dishes had Tofu. We had the option between soft or fried tofu - not a fan of the the soft (silken I believe) ... next time would be fried tofu. I personally had the Tom Yum Fried rice with shrimp. I did enjoy it but the only issue was I was getting hard pieces of lemongrass stalks which are kind of hard or sharp at times. I liked it but I had to spit out pieces of the lemongrass. I'm torn between the Pad Thai and the Yellow Curry as my favorite main dish from Thai Station, but I will say hands down their coconut mango rice may be my favorite dessert of all time. At my most recent visit, I got the yellow curry with steamed tofu. It's sweet with a little kick of spice. I intended to only eat half, but I ended up devouring the entire thing (big surprise). That's always how it goes with any dish here--it takes some serious self control to save leftovers. The service we received was great as well. Our server was really cheerful and kind and made sure we were all taken care of. I do wish Thai Station had lunch portions or specials. It wasn't a particularly inexpensive meal, roughly $40 after tip for two entrees and a pina colada. I would consider this reasonable for a dinner but not necessarily for a lunch. read more

This is my favorite Thai restaurant that I've had in Colorado so far. I've ordered their Chicken Red Curry with Pumpkin, Fried Tofu Pad Thai, & Fried Tofu Pad See Ew. The fried tofu was cooked perfectly. The vegetables, especially the pumpkin, were exceptionally fresh. I found the red curry sauce to have a rich, pungent flavor to it. This was all during November and December of 2022. I went back to Thai Station in July 2023, and ordered Phra Ram Long Song Curry, the peanut curry. I got it with fried tofu, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, and baby corn. It already included broccoli. This was my favorite entree on their menu. The service is quick and professional. The restaurant itself is small, but has Siamese decorations. I would highly recommend this place for residents in Larimer and Weld Counties. read more

I was skeptical when I first noticed Bann Thai as I was driving by on College Ave ... does this town really need another Thai restaurant, particularly one that is walking distance from two others? Well, after two visits, count me as a fan ... a big fan. I might even have to declare this my favorite Thai restaurant in Fort Collins, though The Thai Pepper still wins on favorite Thai dish (the sweet potato noodles ... yum). As noted by other reviewers, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, a step-up from the cramped hole-in-the-wall atmosphere at the Pepper, but it's really the food that makes this place a winner. I'm an absolute noodle freak, and the two noodle dishes I've tried were fantastic. My first visit I had the Pad Suki, a bean-thread noodle dish with choice of meat (I had chicken), fish cakes, and lots of yummy veggies. I know, fish cakes sounds kinda sketchy, but they were tasty! My friend mistook them for scallops when she tasted them. My second visit I had the Drunken Noodles with pork ... to be honest I ordered it a little too hot ("hot but not Thai hot"), but even so it was quite good. I really appreciate that even with the heat the flavor of Thai basil really shone through. I had a chance to taste the green and red curries, too. The red was good, but the green was exceptional for its balance of flavors -- sweet, salty, hot, tangy ... truly a palate pleaser. Don't miss the mangoes & sticky rice for dessert, either. read more

Seems like my tried and true Thai places either don't offer dessert options here in town or have a slight problem with freshness issues. Not Bann Thai! I had a great noodle dish wish delicious veggies and had a great soy sauce all over the dish. So yummy! they also had a sticky rice pudding that was to die for! You can get sticky rice with mangos too which is kind of hard to find around town for this dessert. The staff was totally awesome, quick, prompt and friendly! I ordered the green curry. It was absolutely amazing. The chicken was tender, the eggplant was cooked perfectly and the sauce was silky smooth. The best curry I've ever had, hands down. For dessert I wanted the fried banana with black sweet rice. It's not on the menu together but they allowed it. I loved it. It wasn't very crowded, but the service was good! I've been looking for a good Thai place for a wile now and kept seeing this name on yelp. I tend to look at the menu of somewhere new before i go so i can walk in knowing what i want, unless they have some kind of special. One of the reasons I'd never tired bann thai before was they have no prices on there menu online, a little scary for the budget minded customer. One day i was craving Thai food so bad i decided to just take the plunge and worry about the money later. I'm a bit of a homebody so whenever i can order delivery i usually do. The food was super good. I usually get Pad Thai or a curry just because i honestly don't know that much about Thai cuisine, but i do know i those dishes. I've had the Pad Thai three times now and its been consistently great every time. The keyword that comes to mind for the dish is... fresh. Everything seems really fresh, which makes the dish delicious. I usually order it with heat level of 'hot' and find that the heat level and the seasoning is really great. We've also had the panang curry, which is delightful. Anything savory with coconut milk is okay by me. Its has a mild spicy kick to it and when poured over rice is so tasty. The chicken cooked into the panang is a little on the bland side, but with the curry it has enough flavor, it'd be nice though if they grilled the chicken then added it in, but that might make the dish "nontraditional". We've also picked up a few appetizers, the wontons with the sweet chili are awesome as well as the Koong Hom Pha. The Koong Hom Pha is like a fried shrimp dumpling. Its super good too. The main reason this place isn't 5 star rating would have to be the delivery charge. It's $4. I live less than a mile and a half away so it can't be a gas thing unless there delivering in a Ferrari. I usually like to tip $5 for delivery as i used to deliver pizzas, but with a $4 delivery fee you end up paying out $9 to get it to your house. Which to me, is a lot for somewhere i could walk to within 30 minutes. On the plus side the driver's have always been really nice and friendly. read more
