We took some out of towners here 4-5 months ago and thought the place was a major step down from much earlier visits. Even so, I tried a lunch special here two weeks ago and have been back twice since. New ownership in the last few months. Generous, tasty portions, and for me, a big plus is the choice of brown rice. That's rare around FOCO. Last visit, I had the opportunity to chat with one of the new owners (his Thai wife was running the kitchen while he was "front of the house"). They'll have their challenges as a new/old small business, but these folks are focused, competent, and determined. At the very least, I recommend stopping in and trying a lunch special. read more

Great Chinese food! I wanted classic sticky, salty, Chinese takeout and this was it! There aren't many places to get good Chinese takeout in this part of the city and I was pleasantly surprised here. The food took way longer than expected but was hot and fresh. The rice containers weren't all the way full. I got Kung Pao tofu, medium spice, and it wasn't very spicy so next time I'll ask for it hot. Everything on the menu sounded so good though, I want to try the Lo mein next time! read more

I really wanted to like this place but it is kinda pricey for mediochre food. The general tso's chicken was the best of what we ordered but the beef and broccoli left much to be desired. The cream cheese wontons are just that - no green onion, no seasoning - but the sweet chili sauce was good. The fried rice was also plain without any veggies or egg. If you're not dead set on classic chinese food, I would recommend going to Beijing Noodle a few miles away instead. read more

Ever since I left Denver, I've been looking for a great lo mein dish. I decided to try Dragon Lee. Ordering over the phone was pleasant enough; guy on the other end knew dish ingredients and was friendly. After a bit of a wait, my food was ready and I left for home eager to try the lo mein and wontons. However, flavorless lo mein accompanied by four measly pieces of broccoli, a bit of cabbage, and carrots served a disappointment. Wontons were decent. My advice: save $13 by avoiding the lo mein. read more

Found a long piece of black hair in our dumplings. Called them and gave us a hard time. We got connected with the owner who said we were lying and even though we had pictures of it she didn't believe us. We will not eat here again. Very gross. I just had the Hot Sour Soup with the Sweet and Sour Chicken lunch special. I can't get enough of that hot and sour soup. It's really powerful on its own but if you eat it with some white jasmine rice, it's got a nice flavor going on. The rice balances out all those flavors in the soup. lunch was great today. This is a Chinese restaurant run by a Thai family. Consequently it isn't like the many Cantonese based American Chinese restaurants. They don't for example have general tsao's chicken. The food was pretty good and they seem to have a larger noodle menu which I would like to try. read more

Still looking for good Chinese food in northern Colorado. My husband and I went here and I had a lunch special he had the pad tai. I was really hopeful after having the hot and sour soup which was amazing and very flavorful. We had wontons as an appetizer and they were delicious. The pad tai was soggy and flavorless, and the almond/cashew chicken was bland and dry. There was no sauce to it at all The beef on the pad tai was dry and tough I have had softer beef jerky. Couldn't finish it so took it home. Our daughter is a culinary student and she tried some of the left overs and asked what we were thinking going there. Trying to figure out if people that gave this 4 stars ever had Chinese food or just have really low standards. read more

Awesome Chinese food! I highly recommend! I came to this restaurant while visiting some friends in the Fort Collins area. After a long weekend of drinking we all agreed that we needed some comfort food that would please everyone and this place did the trick! The pictures on their yelp simply don't do them justice. This is some of the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. All of us immensely enjoyed what we ordered. We were served large portions and the food was very reasonably priced.
