Great food and service. I didn't expect much from a Chinese restaurant in the small town of Eaton, but this place truly surprised me. I ordered the Generals Chicken (lunch menu), and for a $13 meal (including tip), I left satisfied and with leftovers for later. The food was well seasoned. The place was busy during lunch service. The place was really clean. I like it so much I told my wife we should drive 1.5 hours on a weekend to try it again. I'll certainly add this place to my list of good restaurants in rural towns. read more

We just had an early dinner here, and it was excellent! We shared an order of Mongolian beef, egg rolls, won tons, and sweet and sour soup. The taste, quality, and portion sizes were all great as well! Sorry, no pictures, we ate everything too quickly. Dragon Inn is worth the drive! read more

I would like to re-establish my five star rating for my favorite Chinese restaurant in Colorado. I really enjoyed ordering the Kung Pao chicken here. It was done properly. It was just lightly breaded chicken pan-fried with peanuts and chili peppers. I only had one restaurant in New Jersey that made it the way I like it. I enjoyed ordering the garlic shrimp and the seafood delight. I greatly admire how this restaurant hasn't added celery into any of the entrees I have ordered. They always do a good medley of vegetables that I enjoy. Every time, I order hot & sour soup and pan-fried pork dumplings. These are my essential favorites here. The service here is fast and punctual. I like the place's ambience with pretty decor and quiet environment. Take out is also convenient. I highly recommend this place for people to try gourmet Chinese food. read more

A gem of a restaurant in our little local town! Food is always good, hot, and dining-in services excellent. The interior of the restaurant is casually elegant, with a small fountain/pool in the middle of the dining area. Cannot fault it for carry out service either. We often take the long drive over to Eaton because this is one of the better Chinese food places around. My favorite is the combo with chicken lo mein, beef and broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. It comes with soup, egg roll and wonton and a drink. Our check is usually around $25 and we bring home leftovers. Service has always been great and they seem to do a lot of takeout orders. The atmosphere is nice, very casual. There's a koi pond that always seems to attract kids. read more

My wife and I had dinner there tonight. We were very impressed. The server was friendly. We loved the atmosphere with the indoor fountains. The sound of running water was very pleasant and calming. No blaring loud music like at other restaurants where we've been. The food was exceptionally good and we were impressed with the volume of food too. More than we could eat. This place isn't bad at all for what it is; A Chinese restaurant in a small Midwestern town. There is better Chinese food to be had in places like Fort Collins and Denver. But if you're in Eaton and get a hankering for Chinese and don't want to sit in traffic for an hour or more, then this is a good place. Be aware of one thing though if you come to visit. Much of this town's income is funded by speeding tickets. Law enforcement isn't exactly reasonable here. While speeding does need to be controlled on the main street of this small town, they tend to go overboard here. Yes you really can get a ticket here for going 37 miles an hour in a 35 zone. read more

They have great customer service. They're always friendly, I haven't run into anyone mean or even in a bad mood. The food is great, I really enjoy their lemon chicken. I usually order to go, but if you stay in they have a cute little set up. I believe the last time I went in they even had like a tiny pond/river inside that you can sit by. Not a lot of parking, but Eaton is pretty small. If your in Eaton, I definitely suggest trying it out. read more

Best Chinese I've had in Northern Colorado. Prices are average, service is good, and parking is easy. The restaurant space is pretty nice, as well. Unfortunately, I was only able to go on Mondays and they recently changed their hours such as they're closed on Mondays. Bummer! read more

Great lunch combos and dinner entrees. Food is hot and very tasty. Portions are huge for the lunch combos and very good for the family style dishes. The seafood I've had here hasn't been over cooked. The calamari was tender and Delicious. Wanton soup and Hot and Sour soup are very tasty. My kids love the Egg Drop soup. So far I haven't had anything disappointing here. read more

The food is good, however the last few times I would say at least four out of 6 we have asked for extra hot mustard as you can see in the picture this is what extra hot mustard means to these people. We are thinking at least six of those not two and every time I ask they act as though they are offended. Secondly look at that size of rice for two dishes, not cool, what happened to the box of rice that is twice the size? Thirdly I asked for extra sauce, hoisin and that would be the darker sauce in the picture but it's not extra that is what normally comes with the meal.... think we will be looking for a new Chinese restaurant. read more

We went in on Sunday just before 8. We were a table of 6 adults we ordered meals and appetizers. Our waitress was extremely unfriendly and irritated that we were there. It was very uncomfortable everytime she came to the table. We are locals and eat Dragon Inn frequently, but tonight was not a good experience. read more

I am usually not excited to try new foreign food, but my brother brought this home one night and now I am sold. Whenever I have time as I am passing through Eaton I love to stop by and grab some food. The ability to be able to call and order food is also very appealing and is ready fairly quickly. I live 20 min away and I am usually getting a call letting me know it's ready before I get to the store. I highly recommend it. read more

Service is always EXTREMELY slow and EXTREMELY short handed. Was not satisfied with meal as they are very stingy with their seafood portions. They like to charge you for the fish portions but give very little. Waited for waitress 15 minutes to let her know there was a problem with my entree. I had to go find her as she was invisible for that time. Never once came back to ask if everything was okay. Had to again find her to get drink refills. Complained to the manager and he could not have cared one bit. Staff was wearing open toed 'flip flops' in the kitchen unsafe and unsanitary. read more
