I'd read on the Neighborhood App how good this place was ... it wasn't. We were immediately greeted and seated. There was some concern about availability of beer and wine and even our server wasn't immediately sure. But we were able to get a Chardonnay and Tsing Tao. My wife ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and I ordered Thai Basil Chicken. Surprisingly to us the chicken for the Sweet & Sour was deep fried. Admittedly it was nicely deep fried but our experience is more of a stir fried chicken. The S&S sauce was just okay. My Thai Basil was disappointing. It was labeled as spicy it it totally wasn't. In addition the basil was largely missing. So it was all in all disappointing and not likely to get a second chance. read more

The Wonton soup was quite good although the Sesame Chicken was just plain bad......soggy, barely fried, mushy and tasteless. Normally I would save it for lunch tomorrow, this was not even worth saving for any reason. read more

So good! They renovated the place so it's so much more open and brighter now. The service is great, very friendly and takes care of their customers. Most of all, the food is amazing! I know I'm probably speaking from a non-Asian food expert. But I am speaking from someone who loves good food... and healthy food! Food is so good. And I know it's healthy because my stomach was able to handle it without an issue. They also give generous portion (so huge) for such a great price! Since the restaurant is also super clean and bright, I enjoyed my meal very much. This restaurant hits the 3 most important things for me (food, service, cleanliness). I'm not sure why they're not as busy. But you got to give this place a chance! I don't think you'll regret it. ...Oh also, they give you a fortune cookie and almond cookie (yum)! read more

I'll be honest - I'm not that much of a fan of chinese fast food. BUT i do love Mongolian Beef. I enjoyed my dish. I ordered the lunch special of the General Tsao and Mongolian Beef and they were ready rather quick. The employee that took my order was really nice also. The food was a bit salty for my taste. Typically, I like more scallions in my Mongo Beef, but overall the dishes were prepared well. Price was good for the portion size. I liked it. If you're just trying to get some fast chinese takeout rather than sitting in a restaurant, this place is a really good option. read more

Going to round up to 4 stars as this was just a first time review, but overall good take out experience overall. Speediness/Ease of Ordering: 5/5 Online ordering was very easy with well built out menu and not a cumbersome process. The food was ready from placing the order to pickup in less than 15 minutes! Food: 3.75/5 (Sesame chicken 3.5/5, Combo Lo Mein 4/5): Rounding this up to overall 4/5 due to how hot and well the dishes stayed with takeout too. Combo lo mein was by far our favorite and the sesame chicken was fine but nothing special. Would get a different dish next time. Parking: 5/5 can't complain. They share a massive parking lot with the rest of the shopping center. Parking should not be an issue. read more

Really like the dishes they serve combo fried rice , crispy duck, lo mein, seafood tofu soup. They are always so tasty and well prepared. The service is always excellent. read more

I ordered General Tso's chicken. What I got was some soft, mushy, dried out greasy battered chicken that tasted sweet. There was no juice/sauce at ALL!!! Eggroll tasted old and dated like it came out of a frozen box. Rice had no flavor. Bellpepper was hard and crunchy. General Tso's chicken is always brown with a brown sauce... Not this junk that was served to me. I threw it in the trash. Do not order from this restaurant. This is not Asian food!!!! This is trash they are throwing together to make a profit. read more

This place is amazing in every aspect. Service, quality of food and choices! Plus a clean atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in providing delicious entrees and outstanding table service. A varied menu of signature Chinese an Thai dishes that are unique, flavorful and well portioned. It's obvious they do allot of business for take out so that shows what a strong local following these guys have! read more

We ordered take out for lunch and although the taste was good the portions of meat were very skimpy. Our plates (lunch specials) which were between $9-&12 were 3/4 rice and maybe 6-8 pieces Of cut up Meat Disappointing read more

They have good deal on Lunch specials which come with an entree, fried rice, soup, crunchy noodles, dipping sauce and either crab Rangoon or fried spring roll (they call it egg roll but it has the thin wrapper). Food arrives fast so it's a great lunch option. Also saw they had FREE lunch delivery. In a world with $6 grub hub deliver, I like free ;) I really like their hot and sour soup, it's not that spicy or sour per se and lacks wood ear mushrooms but I never eat them anyway. Instead, it has a more homemade and "clean" flavor which I enjoyed. Egg drop soup has little corn bits in it and has a strong chicken broth flavor. My little bro enjoyed it a lot. Definitely as good as it gets for Chinese in our area. I love Asian food and have sampled the majority of our local Asian cuisine restaurants over the years and just stumbled onto He-Xing Garden last week. I almost didn't go inside due to the mixed reviews but decided to give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. I will be returning often to explore their menu further. Service was pleasant and helpful. The food was yummy, flavorful, presented well and was pretty fresh tasting. I've only ordered fried dishes here and look forward to trying their stir fries next. Sesame chicken had good cuts of chicken breast with a pleasant and traditional sauce, not too strong nor too mild. Fried rice is pretty good, it has little egg bits in it which puts it a notch above the local competition. I will definitely be back and would recommend them for dining in or take out! read more

Just received their menu in the mail and read a few good reviews. We ordered the Mu Shu Pork and I didn't like it at all. First of all they forgot the pancakes. The to go container was filled with way more gloppy liquid than there should have been. It came with a very dark cornstarchy sauce that was not right. And I felt like there could have been more vegetables. Tried the BBQ ribs...pretty tasty but very small. Got some egg drop soup and it was good. Also tried the shrimp and broccoli. Once again a little too much gloppy sauce. Flavors were fair at best. Not sure I would even give it a second try. Sorry. read more

Stopped in around 11:30 for lunch and it wasn't busy at all so we ate there. This is best american-chinese food we have had in the area! Really reasonably priced, good portions, great flavors, and nothing was too greasy. We got the orange chicken, Thai basil chicken, and veggie lo mein. The lo mein was the best but everything was good. Service was great as well! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely come again. read more

My girlfriend and I both got food poisoning from here. Spent the next day throwing up. Beware

Been to many Chinese restaurants in the state, this is one of the best. Such great tasting dishes, reasonably priced, and great staff.

I ordered from this place on a whim, and am so glad I did. I've been ordering from here for almost a year. The food is always good, fresh, and fast. My favorite are the Vietnams egg rolls, happy to find them at a Chinese restaurant. They are a meal on there own. The only thing I've ordered I didn't like was the egg foo young. Everything else has been delicious...Kung Pao, Mongolian Beef, Singapore Noodles, soups, Lo Mein.... AND, they deliver for free. read more

We ordered take out and our order was ready and waiting at the time promised. We ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken and Chicken with Vegetables. Both were delicious. The servings were large and the price was very fair. We also ordered Vegetable Egg Rolls which were also delicious. They were not oily and were crunchy and hot. This is a very nice place that has great, friendly customer service and delicious food. read more

I ordered sesame tofu last night from here and I got terrible food poisoning. Ive been violently throwing up from 2 am to 10 am ever since I ate that food. PLEASE do not eat from here this place made me SO sick I got food poisoning from this restaurant. read more

Read some positive reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. This was the most pedestrian Chinese food I've ever had. I spent 59 dollars including a 20% tip on Two orders of sesame chicken, fried rice, two spring rolls, and one order of crab cheese wontons. The food was delivered quickly and was warm when it arrived. The portion size was decent but it just was very bland and uninspired. My wife could not even finish her order and stated that it tasted like it was previously frozen. We ended up disposing of the leftovers and felt very disappointed in the money we had spent. I will definitely continue the search for good Chinese take out in my area elsewhere. read more

I generally like the food from here at the Centennial location. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and was very disappointed. The crab cheese wontons were great though. 1) Kung Pao sauce is not watered down like chicken soup. It's supposed to be thick and sticky/pasty, (Cornstarch, soy sauce or tamari, granulated sugar, Sichuan peppercorns, Chinese black vinegar, Chinese rice wine/dry sherry, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, whole dried red chilies, peanuts, ginger and veggies) 2) My KP-Chix was so watery, it leaked out into the paper bag causing the bag to tear open when I lifted it up and out to take it inside. Now its all over my seat and shoes leaving me a huge mess to clean up plus my time. 3) This KP sauce had no spice what so ever in it. It literally tastes like slightly sweetened soy sauce. Not to mention, I paid $13.95 for this entree. REALLY??? I know that COVID has messed up a lot of things, but businesses should take in consideration how many restaurants have closed. When life goes back to normal, restaurants should keep in mind that we don't have to go back and especially when more food services open up again. read more

We have loved this spot for years but recently the food is a lesser version of it's self. The meat and portion size is much smaller and the quart sized soups are 80% broth, no tofu, meat, or delicious veggies- only broth, read more

We received their menu in the mail and decided to try it. WOW, bing, bam.... GOOD! First the staff taking my order and when picking up the order was VERY helpful with recommendations and very nice at pick up. We live about 6 miles away and the order was prepared by the time we arrived, no waiting. We tried a variety of appetizers... Crab meat cheese wontons and fried Dumplings, soups... Hot and Sour and Wonton, mains... Moo Shu Beef, Vegetables with hot garlic sauce, and Stir-fried Ramen Noodle, and a side of Fried rice. Everything was very hot when we arrived back home, which was nice and unusual for our altitude. Every thing was very tasty, delicious!! We look forward to ordering again! Thank you! read more

Ordered tonight for the first time from He-Xing and WOW - it's delicious! Super easy online ordering and it arrived in advance of the estimated delivery time. We both have leftovers now and plan to visit their restaurant since the food is definitely worth checking them out. read more

New Chinese place off Arapahoe & Dry Creek. Pick up was very fast. While we enjoyed the Thai Basil Chicken, the Sesame Chicken was subpar. The Thai Basil was full of flavor and spice and good balance of ingredients, however the Sesame Chicken was overly sweet and no spice whatsoever. The white chicken was good quality and although portion sizes were ample, prices are steep at around $13 each. read more

Always fresh, always big portions. Beef and broccoli is good and my wife Asian loves their Pad Thai. Thank you!

A friend and I tried this restaurant on Saturday for lunch. Our experience couldn't have been more different than most of the other reviews. The restaurant has a very elegant ambiance to it, and wasn't too crowded or noisy, with fast and friendly service. Lunch specials range from about $7.50 to $9, and you get soup, crispy noodles, an entree, an egg roll, and fried rice. I had Happy Family and the sauce was particularly tasty, along with a good mix of chicken, shrimp, and beef. My friend had sesame chicken and she enjoyed it a lot. Overall, the food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. It wasn't greasy, soggy, or undercooked at all! I will definitely be back next time I'm in the neighborhood. read more

To be honest, I never really noticed He-Xing Garden in the shopping plaza until I was driving by on Christmas day and saw it was open. Last night we decided on Chinese take out for dinner and thought of He-Xing Garden. I was slightly surprised at the total cost until I got home and realized the portion size. We ordered 4 entrees and all of us had enough for leftovers the next day (and then some). So, when you divide the cost by 8 meals, it was very reasonably priced. We all enjoyed our entrees (Orange Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, Shrimp Panang, and Kung Pao Triple Delight). Everything was very tasty and fresh. The service was great and right on time. This will be my new go-to for Chinese. read more
