Always fun to try a restaurant again! I came here with my family and we got a couple of items! The restaurant shares a big parking lot with surrounding businesses, so we did not have a hard time finding a spot. When we walked in, it is a wide open seating area, they told us to choose wherever we wanted. They were very friendly and greeted us with smiles . We all kind of knew what we wanted so we ordered quickly and before we knew it, the food arrived! Hot, fresh, and steaming! When I originally ordered, I got the sweet-and-sour chicken and right away they asked if I wanted the sauce on the side. I always ask for the sauce on the side (so when I take it home for leftovers, it's not soggy in the next day ) but it was really refreshing having them ask for me. The sesame chicken was fried nicely and the sweet-and-sour sauce was very good. My sister got the curry and her boyfriend got the pad thai. They both really liked their meals! This place is really close to their apartment complex so I definitely think we will be coming here often :-) read more

Our hometown is well-known for Springfield style Chinese chicken, so while my expectations are high, I've learned to lower them over time. No need to anymore! This place is great all around. We came across China Beijing after looking for a new Chinese place to try. I am shocked that it had such a high rating on Google...because it was very disappointing. The food was extremely bland. I see why they gave us so much soy sauce. The Lo Mein dish was awful. It had no taste to it. The beef was weirdly chewy but at least had some taste. We also tried their General Tao (or Tso?) Chicken, I had hoped it would help make the Lo Mein taste better. However, there was a lack of depth and barely any sauce. This was my first time coming here. My parents brought me during my holiday stay in Denver to visit the family. This place has great food! The owner sheri is so nice and out going. We have been in Denver just over 2 years and hadn't found a restaurant that serves Chinese food on Christmas Day, for our yearly tradition. We tried the last 2 years at other establishments and were sorely disappointed. This year we tried China Beijing and it was fantastic. The staff is super friendly and accommodating as my daughter cannot have gluten. They happily worked around that. The food was excellent. I've gotten food here once before and it was good. Tonight I decided to splurge for my Birthday. The egg drop soup was basically all oil and it was orange in color. I couldn't even eat it. So I threw it out. I got the Szechuan chicken and it was basically all onions and nothing was even sliced to proper proportions. All the veggies and chicken were in huge chunks with no flavor. Not to mention the poor huge fish in a small aquarium upon entering. The water level was very low and the fish seemed to be struggling. Quite sad. I placed our order online & took advantage of the (2) free egg rolls with a $40 purchase coupon. The order was ready on time (I placed it an hour in advance) & at pick up the order was correct. I will say, upon entering restaurant there is a bit of a fish tank smell. They do have a fish tank at the entrance, but the restaurant was clean & the employees were friendly. We ordered the Pao Pao Platter, the wonton soup plus the tofu & veggie soup with the crispy noodles, the almond cookies, a side of the sweet/sour sauce & a side of the hot mustard. Everything was delicious! My mother said everything she had was hot & flavorful. My tofu & veggie soup was light, but filling. The veggies were fresh & crispy plus the cubes are tofu were plentiful & large. The crispy noodles really added a lovely texture to the soup. All of the fried items included in the meal were crispy as well. Also, our favorite part, the hot mustard, was nothing to joke around about! The littlest amount goes a long way. We had dinner there this evening. The food was delicious! The restaurant is very clean, bright and quiet. (We don't like restaurants that blast noisy music). I ordered vegetarian egg rolls - the smiling waitress said all their egg rolls are only vegetables. They came out very quickly - I was surprised. They're small but a good size to have as an appetizer. Then Husband and I split an order of tofu with vegetables, along with fried rice. Again, it came out incredibly quickly, very hot. The veggies were plentiful (pea pods, mushrooms, broccoli, bok choy, carrots, celery) and crisp. The flavor was mild but there was Sriracha on the table, along with soy sauce, if we've have wanted it. They clearly do a big take-out business; while walking through the parking lot, we saw 2 orders leave and there were more ready inside. A previous reviewer said something about a fishy smell. We did not smell anything other than the delicious food. There is a small fish tank near the entrance; a good thing to keep young children amused while adults chat. We'll go back! read more

When I picked up they had the cc slip waiting for me to sign, the subtotal was $27 and she pre wrote in a tip if $3 and told me to sign. When I questioned the tip, she said don't worry, that is just to track, I know you tipped already, so I signed. I also luckily caught they had forgotten one dish of my 2 I ordered before leaving. A few days later I checked my statement and they charged me $30 so added an additional $3 tip. When I called and asked to speak with the manager she told me "manager is not here, call later" and hung on me. Didn't ask me for my name or issue. Food was good. I believe management has changed because the food taste different. I ordered chicken lo main 3 weeks ago. They now used a much thicker noodles than before. It didn't have a lot of chicken. I got a few pieces of large slices of chicken. It was not as flavorful as before and even though I requested spicy, the entree was not spicy at all. Today I tried the shrimp pad noodles that I used to get all the time. It used to call shrimp PUD noodles. It is stir fry in a brown sauce with thai basils. Again, it was different. The noodles used to be much wider, thinner, and more translucent. The noodles I got was very thick and a bit hard ( undercooked?) There were not enough basils in the dish. Overall, it lacked flavor. For lunch, it came with two crispy egg rolls. I see mostly cabbage inside but nevertheless it was delicious. read more
