I've been living in Colorado now for 3ish years. I've tried every single Chinese food place you can find. It's possibly my favorite food. I have been so disappointed up until I discovered Spicy Asian. If you like the NY style Chinese take out this is you spot. Their delivery does take a while so I highly recommend carry out. They were very nice and on time, and gave us a coupon as well so I would say the service is great. read more

I have placed a few online orders with this restaurant, and they ALWAYS cancel it. In the past, I have just replaced the order over the phone, fyi the total is always more expensive when you order in person or over the phone. I have asked them about this before, and they state they don't control the prices listed on DD, Uber, Yelp, etc. I have worked at a restaurant that used all these online ordering services and know this is not true. Today I placed an order over DD for delivery. I order sweet & sour chicken and fried rice. A few minutes after placing the order, I was notified they cancelled it. I called to see why, and was told they were out of everything I order. Yes, they are out of fried rice. I called back about 3 minutes later to place an order, to see what they would say. And to my surprise, they now had sweet & sour chicken and fried rice!!! Who knew that could get delivered within 3 minutes!! We went back and forth for a while trying to clarify what is going on and why I was lied to on the previous call, eventually she laughed and hung up. All in all, they will cancel online orders and lie to you about the reasoning, or flat out lie that they ever received it (this happened on a separate occasion). It is a shame, they do have great food. Oh well read more

Maybe not the best Chinese food in Denver but definitely good for a quick and easy meal. Most dishes are Americanized - eg, the mapo tofu is not particularly spicy despite being labeled as such. The seafood hot and sour soup was good and satisfying. The salt and pepper tofu was okay... it probably would have been crispier if we had dined in rather than ordered takeout. read more

Spicy Asian is our go-to Chinese restaurant. The food is always fresh and full of flavor! With our most recent order we got the sweet and sour combo, shrimp rice noodles and chicken broccoli. Teriyaki chicken is one of our favorites too. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because sometimes their delivery times are very long, especially on weekends. I have called and had them say, "1.5 hours okay?" I think they only have one delivery driver. It's not a big deal, we just try to avoid ordering on Friday and Saturday nights. Another thing to note, they have a website and their online ordering system is super easy to use! read more

Good prices and portions you get your monies worth. Chicken Sesame a bit spicy but good. Tried the Moo Shu Vegetables very tasty. We used takeout and they forgot the egg rolls but we did get tortilla shells at a Asian restaurant. lol read more

I like coming to this place because it has reasonable prices and the food is good. The little girl who works the front is really sweet and good at her job. The other reviews seem a bit harsh, remember it's a mom n pop Chinese joint. read more

What horrible food. Service even worse. Couldn't get my order right and STILL refused to refund my credit card. The basil rice was not edible. ANYPLACE is better then there. read more

Sat on hold for 20 minutes and no one picked up. Tried calling back for 10 minutes and it goes straight to voicemail every time. I think they just turned their phones off so they don't have to take any more orders. The website wants you to make an account to order food. Save your time.....Update, they did turn the phones off and left me on hold. Awful service!!! read more

It was a long wait for food thinking that the food would be fresh and amazing. Food was fresh but just shy of amazing. The only thing I would recommend would be the orange chicken, other than that don't bother. Very nice staff, will never go there again. read more

Sub par, and the menus they send out in the mail have coupons that they claim the mailman changes. So I expected to get 6 wontons with a $30 order, show up and they tell me it's actually only 2. Just straight up misleading Then the food is meh. The fried rice is literally just soy sauce and rice, no egg, no veggie bits. Tastes like low quality chinese food if you're into that. Wish I just bought 30 wontons now Also they forgot one of my rices and all their dishes marked spicy have no spice at all (how do make non-spicy mapo tofu??) read more

Amazing wait staff! Very friendly! Amazing portion sizes too!!! There are so many options that you have to try a different one each time you go back! too many to choose from! Prices range anywhere from $1.75 (soda drink) - $23.50 (chef's special seafood amazing meal). What an amazing restaurant! read more

This review is entirely dependent on who you get at the register. If it's one of the young Hispanic girls, they are very sweet. But if it's the middle-aged Asian woman, then watch out. I literally got screamed at today for paying cash. Sorry that I didn't provide you with a credit card number to steal (see other reviews), but I guess you'll just have to find a different victim! read more

We love this place, we get food from multiple companies each week. but the lunch special, sesame chicken, beef broccoli, egg drop soup is killer. Once per week if not more we order from this company during our lunch breaks. When you're having a long day and it not even 11am this company can really make the day feel better. Take a bite of the chicken and scoop up some rice and before you know it you're ready to go back on patrol. True blessing when it come to delicious and quality food that not only tastes good but leaves you satisfied all day. read more

This place rocks! They are super fast and have the friendliest service! I got egg rolls, sweet and sour shrimp and beef and broccoli! The food was super fresh and hot when o got there. They literally took 15 minutes and I got there a little early so had to wait five which was NO big deal. They gave me extra egg rolls and were so sweet! I will definitely be back to try out some other dishes. Can't wait to try their delivery! Yum! read more

Spicy Asian by the DMV. Very busy. Good portions, quality sauce and dishes. The orange chicken comes with orange slices, sesame beef with veggies. I do not recommend the egg drop soup! Too much corn starch, it's basically egg corn drop soup. Not my go-to American-Chinese spot around Monaco/Leets but it's worth a try if you're out. There are better Asian-American joints around. read more

I needed a quick lunch so headed over to Spicy Asian restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Chinese dishes, this probably isn't the right place- this restaurant serves Americanized Chinese dishes at an extremely cheap price. For lunch, I paid $8.55 for the Sweet & Sour Pork which includes your choice of fried or white rice and an egg roll... such a great deal. I was really impressed with the flavor of the meat, egg roll and fried rice. I appreciate the sweet and sour sauce on the side which allowed me to dip the pieces of pork instead of the meat being smothered with it. The food was ready within 15 minutes of calling them. It's so rare to find a great lunch deal these days which is a huge reason why I will be back and the food tasted decent despite the so-so reviews. read more

Set in a strip mall of Monaco and Evans, The Spicy Asian was formerly Chens Garden. The new owner and food are really very good especially the prices! No, this is not PF Changs folks, but its not my wifes meat loaf either! good quality food reasonable prices and a great place to drop in for lunch with an expansive menu including many Thai dishes. I had the Combination Fried Rice and found it very tasty along wit hthe Sweet and Sour Chicken I had last week. 2 Thumbs up on this place! read more

We ordered food tonight for pick-up. The food was ready in about 35 minutes and the notifications were on time. When we showed up the food was hot and didn't seem like it had been sitting long. We ordered the kung pao chicken and sesame chicken. Both were good and met our expectations. The rice was good and plenty. The flavors were good, not too spicy. Next time I would increase the heat from "medium". Will be back! read more

We've been ordering from this place since it was Chens garden. They've recently in the past few months, hired a girl with long nails who works the front and expedites orders. She's awful. She argued with me when didn't receive any fried rice with my order, acting like I wasn't telling the truth, I was trying to get free rice I had to drive up there and fight with her about the fried rice. I just wanted my friend rice to go with my entree. Please. Then we've ordered 4-5 times since then, and have been missing an item each time. This last order, they didn't give me my whole entire entree. I called the place and she answered she told me to wait, then left me on hold for 20 min. I hung up and called back, and the line was busy. She straight out the phone off the hook. Not only did I not get any dinner that night, I also did t receive any kind of refund or apology. Nothing. I'm out $20 and I went hungry. This place sucks. We will never ever come back. And you're losing a good customer, who ordered at least once a week for the last 10 years. read more

Always so good. We live down the street from this place and order about once a month. The food is really good - fresh and tasty. Everything we have ordered has been delicious. Yesterday I ordered shrimp and broccoli - a dish that is often tasteless from some restaurants. Not Spicy Asian. It was great - nice light but flavorful sauce, tons of veggies and shrimp. Enough for 2 meals. read more

I am incredibly disappointed. I ordered a variety and ended up not eating hardly any of it or even being able to. In the pupu platter, the wings were hard and inedible. The breading tasted like plastic. The rangoons appeared to be from two different places as one has a crispy flaky shell and one was hard and crunchy. The shrimp was a very strange gooey texture like cream cheese. The salad was a box of greens with no dressing. The wonton soup was flavorless and just a bowl of bean sprouts mostly. I poured a whole cup of soy sauce in it and it was still flavorless. read more

I understand Covid and everything so when I received my shrimp lo mein because the bag was tied in a knot and everything I assumed everything was in my bag. I made sure to tell the cashier when I was ordering that I would like fried rice as my side for my lunch meal . When I got home of course I didn't have my fired rice . Any other time when I go and sit down of course I didn't have the problem . Also the egg roll was very unappetizing. read more

Ordered delivery here tonight for dinner. We got the salt and pepper chicken wings, hot and sour soup, beef drunken noodles, and orange chicken. Food arrived hot. The wings were awesome EXCEPT I got both the wings and soup spicy and neither of those had ANY heat to them whatsoever... orange chicken and drunken noodles were great EXCEPT they forgot my fried rice that came with the order... also no utensils and the food arrived in a tofu box they likely repurposed(not a big deal). Cons: forgot utensils + fried rice + spice level we requested. Hot and sour soup was VERY bland. Pros: food that DID arrive tasted pretty darn good and was hot read more

These people are thieves, I would be very careful to use cash here or better yet, go somewhere else. We ordered takeout and paid cash, tipped ahead of time. Two hours later with no food we started calling. Called for half an hour with no answer. Ordered from somewhere else and got food in 30 minutes. Finally a Girl who has to be 15 years old picked up at 9:00 pm. After putting me on hold for 5 minutes she gets back on to claim the food was delivered and the driver gave it to "a man" outside the house who knew the name of the order. Right... Went in the next day and the same child is working there alone. She can't process a refund and says you have to go through your bank. Never heard of anything like this in my life. She does show me a credit card receipt which they have forged a signature on. The only time she shows any concern at all is when I ask if she knows that Forging names on credit card receipts is a felony. I go back again that night to see the boss who is finally there but who is no more help than the kid. What kind of business owner can't process a refund? This place should be investigated for theft and child labor violations. Probably will be if they don't shut down first. read more

Have pressed from this place, upwards, of 50 times during the pandemic. Have never been disappointed

Not feeling well today so was craving hot and sour soup. My husband nice enough to go pick up. He ordered chicken extra spicy with rice. Soup was not hot and it tasted metallic or maybe bleach. Chicken dish was marginal with rubbery chicken veggies were ok but sauce was really fishy. I packed everything up and put in the garbage. Won't be back, the soup was really scary. Sad because we liked them during COVID. Food handling is so important. read more

We got the low MEIN, rice, orange chicken, and boba and it was so so good!! Definitely will be be coming again!

I would categorize this as a Chinese restaurant for Americans seeking the standard dishes (including Cantonese, Mandarin, and Thai) we are most familiar with. I ordered the Seafood Curry and was surprised the server didn't ask how hot I would like it prepared. She didn't offer chopsticks either. The portion was huge and was made with lots of fresh vegetables and a decent amount of seafood. The shrimp were nice and large but the fish and mussels had a very strong slightly "off" flavor that wasn't to my liking. I am accustomed to curries that are swimming in colorful sauce but this version was more like a quick stir fry. On the plus side, the service was friendly and prompt and the hot and sour soup was very good with pieces of tofu. read more

Ordered from here for the first time today. Delivery took a little longer than we were told but in their defense, there are just under 1600 apartments on the property we live on. Food arrived and was very very good. Only thing i can really bitch about is the fact that we got diet Mountain Dew, but hey, we should probably be drinking diet soda anyway! (that's why they didn't get a 5 start) HAHA We will most definitely be ordering delivery from them again! read more
