Been back here 3x times now. I like the vibe & the value for what you're paying for! So much banchans! You also get a pick of white or purple rice you get a multitude of side dishes, soup, salad.. and give you a pitcher of water for your table. The kimchi, pork and tofu stew is hands down such a comfort food especially in the winter. It's their most popular dish as well in the tofu soup section. Remember the spoon and chopsticks are on th side

A gem in Denver/Aurora area! Very authentic and delicious Korean dishes served here. The combo is an amazing deal and so delicious. Loved the tofu soup, galbi, bulgogi, seafood pancake, and refills on banchan! Perfect and authentic flavors; fast, friendly, and amazing service here! I'd definitely come back again whenever I'm back in the area! Would also love to try the restaurant next door which I believe are owned by the same owner!

We came again! This time we got the ground beef soon tofu and we def prefer the seafood one. We got the usual pan fried fish and noodles. Everything was delicious. We did get a new server and he did seem confused as he gave us wrong information. But it was ok because he did his best. You know we'll be back!

My favorite Korean restaurant in recent years!! Whenever someone suggests to go to Tofu Story, I just feel happy!! I always look forward to eating here! For the most part, I get the same thing but it's always so delicious!! I order the combo with galbee (choice of KBBQ) and the beef soon tofu soup (choice of soup). I enjoy both the white and purple rice (which I usually cover in soup anyway). I also love the banchans (side dishes) especially fish cakes (people confuse this as tofu). People often order a seafood pancake to share but I do think it becomes too much food! I also prefer the steamed egg!!

As soon as we walked inside Tofu story & heard Korean languages& a lot of Asians then I knew this place must be authentic. The atmosphere is so modern, sleek & clean. The utensils drawer located on the side of table. Nice attentive servers. Best of all was the tofu karakae (fried tofu) with sweet soy sauce. Light, crispy, umami! Must try for tofu lover. Main course I picked spicy blue crabs & combination soon tofu medium spices. All are very authentic, good qualities ingredients & tasty. The banchan(complimentary side dishes) came out with a lot of options. I love steamed eggs, fish cake, cucumber kimchi & salad with refreshing salad dressing. Sum up: Must try Korean spot if you are around Aurora area. Authentic foods with Modern ambiance.

Part of Seoul BBQ group looks like. I see the same sign and the same server. It looks very clean which I liked. Price was lot higher than the Tofu House. Noticeably. This review is in comparison to the Tofu House I guess. Few more banchan and also choice of white rice or purple rice. However, no stone pot for the rice. Definitely miss putting hot water into the stone pot with leftover rice and let it simmer to finish as a meal. I got the combo tofu soup which was beef and seafood. Shrimp was lot smaller but had different types of clams. Personally I prefer the Tofu House flavor.

Still a solid place to get some hot spicy soup with fresh tofu. Love the food, the atmosphere, and friendly service.

Overall: Korean comfort food. First time impressed me so much - adding this to my go-to places list when I want cozy food. Curious to try their fish and marinated crab options next time. Food: Came here for the soondobu - tofu texture is nice and soft. -Beef soondobu with mild spice level - richly flavored without being overpowering. -Kimchi soondobu with medium spice level - tangy, flavorful. I like the fatty pork pieces in it. Spicy level was perfect where it tingled but I could still taste the food. -Cheese pork cutlet - absolutely perfect crispy layer. Very neatly made and fried. -Banchan - LOVE. The kimchi variety were all well flavored and well made. The salad was tasty, especially the dressing. Space/Vibe: Casual sit-down. Open, modern space. Clean space. Loud atmosphere. Service: Average, polite. Price: $$. Reasonable for the portion.

Tofu Story is one of my go to's for knowing I'm going to have a fantastic meal every single time! This is where I bring friends, family, out of town guests and recommend to everyone. The seafood soondubu is as good as my Halmoni's growing up and it always hits my soul and makes me happy! They make the tofu in house and I always grab extra fresh tofu to go as well for myself and my Oppa. Great food, fresh banchan, prompt service and it is so clean and inviting inside. Will come again and again.

Came here on a Wednesday evening with a friend and wow! I can understand the hype. We arrived at 5pm and it was quite quiet but I'd recommend planning ahead if you aim to get there around 6/6:30 as it definitely got busy. Decor is clean and crisp and love that there's a window into the tofu lab - where the magic happens. Our server was happy to give us direction on what to order. We stuck with water so not sure about the beverages but we got a lot of food! A most excellent decision. Opted for a few house specials: Galbi Jjim (braised short rib with veggies in a yummy bubbling broth) and Spicy Marinated Crab (the crab was raw which was interesting; I personally prefer it cooked but fun to try). We also got Cheese Pork Cutlet (amazing), Kimchi Soon Tofu (Spicy kimchi, pork, and tofu stew, great flavor) and Man Doo Soon Tofu (amazing spicy dumplings and tofu stew). Not to mention all the yummy banchan and beautiful purple rice. All in all, a top notch experience. I can't wait to come back!

Stopped by for weekday lunch, and did not expect the food to be SO GOOD. Upon walking in, the restaurant is clean and the waitress was quick to greet us and take our order. After ordering, our waitress brought out banchan, including a fresh green salad with sesame dressing, squid, kimchee, fish cake, bean sprouts, amongst others. Shortly after, the pork bulgogi came out on a sizzling hot plate, along with my sundubu bubbling in a clay pot. Taste wise, everything was absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic. The only improvement I would recommend is to increase the bulgogi meat portion, as it was primarily onions, rather than meat. Nevertheless, food was solid and I'd def recommend for anyone looking for authentic Korean fare.

Finally got to try this place. The food was good. So much flavor mostly soup option with tofu. Service was great. Wasn't busy. We had a large group with us. You can watch how the tofu is made in house

Tofu Story is the real deal. I had the mushroom tofu soup, marinated & spicy crab, potato pancake, and pollack tofu soup--and every bite brought back memories of eating in Korea. The flavors are so authentic and comforting. One of the coolest parts? They actually make fresh tofu in-house every day, and you can see the process happening. It's not just a meal--it's an experience. If you're craving traditional Korean flavors done right, this is the spot.

At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

The meat is some of the best I've had in CO. It was very tender and fell off the bone very easily. The La galbi was so good and flavorful. When it's mixed with the onions and veggies and rice, everything tastes really good combined. I would skip on the pancakes because they were a little burnt. We saw a different one come out and it was also burnt. Otherwise, eat around because it's quite flavorful.
