Dumplings and buns
Connie H.

Small cozy place to get your Jokbal and bossam on- we went with the Jokbal or pigs feet and the beef dumplings, barbeque pork buns and steamed pork buns. Everything was excellent and the owners were so kind and welcoming. Many of the sides or banchan dishes were grown in their garden. I have to say a these are some of the best sides I've had outside of Korea. Unfortunately, we live in Texas or We'd be back very soon!

Amazing! The chef at Sintoburi opened Han yang in the Havana Plaza near Iliff and and popular Sushi Katsu, Taqueria Corona, Coffee Story, Mochinut and Menya. They are serving the specialty items and Korean cuisine. Fast casual with seating inside. This is the former Seoul Mandoo restaurant space. Seoul Mandoo has now relocated to Sintoburi at the Havana Exchange shopping center. This location has the popular pig feet, balsam, blood sausage, steamed monk, fish, steamed monk fish soup, guksu noodles, dumplings and MORE. Service is very friendly and the food is always made fresh to order.

Yummy Bossam

Amazing little hole in the wall with super friendly & sweet lady running the whole show. The food is as good as what you'll get in Korea. Bossam was tender & perfectly cooked and the Jokbal is probably the best in all of Colorado. They also had handmade dumplings which were delicious. Can't wait to return & try everything else on the menu.

We got the classic soondae soup with bone broth and spicy soondae soup, both without intestines. The soondae was very chewy and the classic broth was on the lighter side. I added some pepper and spicy chili paste for added flavor. It tasted great with the kimchi and pickled radishes. The spicy broth definitely had a kick to it and had lots of pepper flakes inside. They ddukbokki took awhile to come out but once we got it, we enjoyed how it tasted like classic spicy rice cake with fish cake in it. It only had half of a boiled egg, but it was still good paired with the spicy and sweet sauce. They had lots of seating indoors. Definitely will be coming back to try more items.

Leaving a review after 2nd visits during lunch time. I personally think this Korean restaurant…read moreshows "sincerity" into their food. At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

It's def a more modern Korean restaurant from the interior alone. But food was delicious. I was interested in a lot of items on the menu u so it was hard to choose from. The dakgalbi lunch special was an actual full on lunch with sides and soup. The galbi tang was pretty good. The meat is some of the best I've had in CO. It was very tender and fell off the bone very easily. The La galbi was so good and flavorful. When it's mixed with the onions and veggies and rice, everything tastes really good combined. I would skip on the pancakes because they were a little burnt. We saw a different one come out and it was also burnt. Otherwise, eat around because it's quite flavorful.

The experience here is exactly what I want from Korean BBQ: lively, satisfying, and easy to settle into for a while. The cheese corn is an absolute must and easily one of the best sides on the table. The steamed egg was fluffy and comforting, and the meats were the real highlight. The pork belly was rich and well cut, the bulgogi was flavorful, and the short ribs were tender and cooked beautifully. Add a few bottles of soju and suddenly you've lost track of time in the best way. This is the kind of place you go with friends, order generously, and just enjoy the night. I'll absolutely be back, and honestly, I'm always down to join if someone invites me.

The quality of the meat is good, the portions were big enough for the two of us, but definitely would not be enough if there were more in our party. This isn't an AYCE place like many other Korean BBQ restaurants, so expect to pay per meat selection. The prices are comparable to other non-AYCE restaurants in Aurora though. Total for the two of us: about $200, which included the tip. We dined on a weeknight so there wasn't a wait but I assume there is one on the weekends since the restaurant is fairly small. The service was fast and friendly and they checked on us often. Brush up on your parallel parking since only street parking is available.

However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the ambiance, the food, the drinks, and the warmth of the owner! We walked in Thursday night at 11pm. It was one of the only Asian restaurants in the area still open after our flight landed. As expected, the customers were sparse save for 2-3 tables of diners. The interior was immediately green flags - l loved the decor and wood tones. It felt like I was in Korea! The menu is your typical pocha fare - soups, Korean pancakes, army stew, KBBQ meats. We ordered the jalapeño soy chicken wings, volcano pork, and the kimchi fried rice. My favorite was the chicken wings, really crunchy with good flavor and the wings were decently sized. The volcano pork came over a fire burner and cooked at our table. It was definitely pretty spicy but paired really well with the kimchi fried rice, which I thought could be spicier. The pork quality was ok but I really liked the flavors and the bean sprouts in the pot. I particularly love that K Pocha has zero sugar soju on the menu no sugar = no hangovers!) I always drink the brand with the fox on it and squeeze a bit of lemon into the shot. We were served by the owner and the service was efficient. He didn't seem to speak the best English so we had to have one of our friends translate when we asked questions, but he was really nice and welcoming. K Pocha seems to be pretty new, so I will hopefully be back soon to support his business! I definitely want to try the army stew and the tofu soups.

We waited probably about 15 mins to get seated and then it took about another 20 to order and get our food. We got a beef tofu stew (not picture) $17 and a beef hot stone bibimbap $19. We each got our own side dish with 4 side dishes. There was cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and a soy braised potato with fish cakes. I love a good hot stone bibimbap because of the crispy rice and this was CRISPY. I loved it. The side dishes were the perfect compliment to the dishes too. I will say my only complaint is the beef wasn't as flavorful as some other places but with how much food they're cranking out with only 2 people, they're doing a pretty great job. Despite all the people coming in and the people eating, the lady in the front was still happy and let people know there would be at least a 30 min wait to get seated. Overall, I would probably go here again if I was in the area and wanted a got stone bibimbap and didn't mind a wait but its definitely not a place to go if you're starving due to the potentially long waits.
