Came here to catch up with a friend on a Monday night. The place was pretty dead with a few other people around. They have lots of board games for you to choose from and use for free. I'm OBSESSED with Tabletop Tap. I came here on a double date with some new friends and was blown away by the whole experience. It's a family-owned bar that treats the place like their home. Everyone is welcome, whether you're sitting at the bar by yourself or hanging out with others. Grab at a beer and peruse the entire binder of board games to borrow. Try out a new one! I didn't get to play any of the video games but got excited about the old school ones. Great selection of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Everything is sanitary (which I can get sensitive about at game shops) and they allow outside food, so plan ahead. Come out to support this business. Rude staff bad vibes. We came to play some board games with friends and were not ID at the door when we walked in. It needs to be more clear on their website and door that it is 21+ to simply play board games. Although we were all of age, two of us forgot our ids and practically got harassed by the femable bartender (maybe blonde maybe redhead). She was so passive aggressive and rude to us even though we were clearly of age. Mind you, it was a Tuesday night at literally 8:30pm and we told her multiple times we were not drinking. Her rude tone and unfriendly demeanor caused loss of business. Do not go here unless you want to feel belittled. read more

This is my favorite hangout spot in town. Where else offers free table top games and arcade games to play? Where else has a gorgeous dog behind the counter? The ambiance is so inviting and chill. If you like nostalgia you will like this bar. I'm excited that they are moving to a hopefully bigger location. No liquor, but a decent selection of beers on tap, cans, bottles, and canned cocktails as well all reasonably priced. I tried mead as well, which is a fragrant drink that tastes almost like wine. We just happened to walk by and went in, the owner lady was super welcoming. I had a lemon lavender beer that she let me sample, it was great!!! The have free play games at the bar. There was also a ton of board games as pictured! We will be making this a regular visit for sure!!!! read more

My new favorite neighborhood bar - Warm friendly & tentative staff, great beer selection and all the video games from my childhood. The two pilsners on draft are both great but the Von was my favorite...so smooth, low on that hoppy flavor just the way I like it. The vibe was super chill... Speaking of CHILL Don't miss out on the huge board game selection and definitely don't miss out on an opportunity to play The Art of Chill - Bob Ross. Seriously... go for that game alone, stay for a round of Mario Cart and sample enough beer to find a new favorite draft each week. read more

This bar wasn't particularly special, but we did come during Covid so what can you do. We didn't see the sign that says order at the bar, and even though we were one of two people in there and the bartender didn't even say anything our way. A little bit weird. Table Top Tap is my new favorite bar in Englewood! They have a wonderful selection of beer including a lot of unique flavors as well as a great selection of free board games. They even have arcade games built into the bar and the best part is that they are free! As long as you're having a beer, you can play with zero quarters. It doesn't get any better then that! This place is great and a tremendous addition to Englewood. Beer selection is phenomenal. I can't speak much towards their board game selection as I'm not keen on what's most necessary. They have video game screen embedded into the bars so you can pound beers and play against or with your friends or other patrons. They also have a projector which is clutch when it's time to challenge your friends to Mario Kart 64. You won't get food or any pampering while your here, so don't expect that. What a great concept! We live just a few blocks away and have been waiting for this place to open. Went there on their 4th night and had a blast! There's a list of beer on the wall. They have a great selection of micro brews on tap as well as some bottles. You order your beer at the bar. Prices we fair and the beer was cold. Pick a table (hopefully there's an open table because the place was packed!). There's a menu of all the games they have. We played a few intense rounds of Uno and Phase 10. I saw quite a few strategy games as well as Life and Monopoly. I'm hoping they get a few more classics- Sorry, Candy Land, Rockem Sockem Robots, Hungry Hungry Hippos. You can also bring your own game. There's no food, but there was great hot dog cart out front and a food truck (mac n cheese?) showed up so there were good options. Music was playing, but it wasn't anything loud or distracting. If you sit at the bar, there are video games built into the counter. There's also a big Tetris game and a giant homemade Connect 4. This is the best bar in Englewood and a fantastic new addition to the south Broadway area. Beer selection is diverse and delicious. Staff is always delightful. The menu of board games along with the arcade games set into the bar top and the arcade cabinets in back are enough to keep you busy for days. If that's not enough, you can play old RPGs or MarioKart on the NES behind the bar, and watch classic 90's cartoons or old Nickelodeon shows that are always playing behind the bar. The atmosphere is lovely, never too loud to have a conversation and always friendly. Hands down my favorite spot in Englewood. read more

A different take on a barcade. Friendly husband and wife duo (or at least I think they were married?) Really great relaxed vibe and the perfect spot to hang out with friends and catch up. Our new hangout! Jason was really nice and helped me navigate some of the games I didn't know. Chris, not sure if he works there or not, but he was really cool, as well. Beer selection was great and they actually have root beer for those of us who don't imbibe. The fact that the games are free is really inviting for me because I haven't played very many video games in my life. I learned several games tonight and look forward to many more. They also have many vintage board games. Eighties music played in the background, adding to the "good ole days and memories" atmosphere. The cheese curds are great bar food! They don't require cooking and the cheese is excellent quality. We didn't try the pizza, probably next time. Just a great night all the way around! We'll definitely be back! read more
