This place has such a fun, welcoming vibe, and the employees and service were absolutely fantastic. It didn't feel like anyone had strictly assigned tables, instead, everyone just took care of everyone, which made the experience feel relaxed and genuinely friendly. Ordering was electronic, everything came out incredibly fast, and most importantly, the food and drinks were delicious. I also really appreciated the family-friendly and pet-friendly environment. My daughter has dogs, and I'm allergic, so when I visit her in Colorado I don't get to spend time at her house. But at the same time, I feel bad if we're out all day/night and her dogs are left home alone. Finding places that are dog-friendly (but outdoors) where I can keep a comfortable distance from pet hair and dander is the perfect compromise for us. Each visit, we're always on the lookout for places like this, and I'm so glad we finally tried Denver Beer Co. It checked all the boxes and made our time together that much more enjoyable... and the dogs loved all of the pets they got from the other customers! Really great vibes! DBC has a huge outdoor area, so plenty of picnic tables for outdoor seating. On really hot days the few shaded spots go first so there may not be opportunity for cooler spots. The indoors is fairly small but on nice days the garage doors will be open. Beer is a good variety and has all the favorites. Princess Yum Yum is always a hit. Food is actually really good for a brewery. The wings and duck fat fries are a highlight. Burger is pretty good but they don't allow any substitutions. Service can be hit or miss, sometimes they are friendly and sometimes they forget about you and give you attitude. Right next door is Right Cream so you can enjoy ice cream after your beers and food. read more

We popped in here on a Thursday night for their "late night happy hour" which is after 8pm on weekdays. For the happy hour, some of their beers are $5 and they also have some food specials. They do have a couple ciders and a seltzer but none of them were on happy hour unfortunately. I tried the lavender cider which was unique and tasted good! There was definitely a strong lavender flavor to the drink. The brewery was pretty packed for a Thursday night. Not being able to bring food from the Right Cream is understandable, but being able to enforce it in a professional manor should be required. The server who rudely kicked my party out (even though we had a very large open tab and several full drinks) was very poor customer service. We come here frequently but unfortunately won't support any longer. Rules can be enforced, but please understand that there is a right and wrong way to go about enforcing them. Came here for dinner and trivia and had a blast! I tried the wings which were perfectly crispy and seasoned and then a side salad which was great! I tried a Rocky Mountain soda and that was also great. The trivia itself was on your phone which was new to me but it worked really well. Came here last week for a meetup and liked the vibe. I prefer sitting indoors on chilly nights, but the group was outside. There's a large patio here with picnic tables and some fire pits, but there are also hanging heaters which did keep the patio pretty warm, even without being enclosed. The picnic bench almost felt like it was heated, but it was just the hanging heaters. I wasn't a fan of the sour they had on tap, so I opted to try their seltzers. First I had the lemon hibiscus fuzz and later the watermelon yuzu mojito. They were both decent, though not amazing. I am honestly not a massive fan of hard seltzers, but I did like them better than the sour (and I don't like regular beer). The staff were very friendly though and let me try a few sips of drinks before ordering. Eventually our group moved to one of the firepits once some people left and it was nice and cozy. They actually had a bunch of camping chairs (vs adirondack chairs) which I kind of preferred, even though they're flimsier, because 1. they have cupholders and 2. you can fit more of the camping chairs vs. adirondack chairs and you can sit a lot closer to the fire. Definitely a cute spot and I was able to park on the street directly in front of the brewery which made my life easy as well. read more

In our search for local breweries, we found Denver Beer Co. At first sight, it was a very nice place with plenty of outside seating and cozy decor. It took the server about 10 min to pass around us and acknowledge us. However, once we placed our order, things came in blazing fast and servers were quite attentive and helpful. We ordered the duck fat fries and the house smoked wings. To drink, I ordered a flight of 5 and my hubby ordered a canned watermelon yuzu mojito. For our entrees, we had the double cheese burger and the DBC cubano, as recommended by one of our servers. As much as we wanted to enjoy each of these items, we quickly found a few issues. The wings were definitely smokey, but chewey and without much flavor. The fries tasted just like regular fries from any other establishment. The burger tasted like a Wendy's burger. The cubano was also smokey and tender, but without that yellow mustard, it would have been bland. Regarding the beers, the backyard buzz honey wheat was the only interesting one, with the others falling short in flavor. The mojito tasted like a hint of nothing in a seltzer. Overall, the heroes of this visit were the servers, but the food and drink fell short of something we would like to try again. read more

I love the large patio that this location offers! I haven't tried their food yet but I do love their beers - can't beat that Princess Yum Yum. It seems that they have a pretty good selection on their food menu though! Service is extremely friendly! I love that you can meet up with a large group of friends here and hang out. Why do people go out for dinners? It seems like a stupid question when you look at the reasons why people actually do this, doesn't it? People go out for celebrations, for birthdays, for anniversaries, but in the end we go out because we don't have to cook at home and we get to relax and let someone else serve us and cook for use. We go out for the unusual, for the gourmet, for the new and different. Well, I debated with myself as to whether I should write this review, to help make that decision I took to Google and looked up the current reviews for Denver Beer Co. to get a perspective. The perspective I got was that my own opinion was not the only one. So, here goes. We arrived at DBC around 6:20, the place was quite busy but not so much that it took more than a minute to get to our table, we had a large family gathering and there were both adult children as well as smaller children, we sat at one of the "tall" tables and it worked out fine for us. Our server was smiling and had a great attitude and took our drink and food order pretty quickly. It was done electronically so without question it was written down and availalbe to the kitchen right away. She was accurate in her order both in the amounts and details and the order was complete around 6:25. The beer/drinks came to the table about 10ish minutes later, all the orders were correct and the samples were quite good. I have to point out that despite getting a flight of 5 different lighter lagers the one that was an overally favourite was the one made at DBC. Kudos to their brewmaster on that one, it was a blonde with vanilla and coffee and had a deep richness despite looking quite pale. While we waited the little kids were over in the playground right next to the place, this is a good marriage of design and convenience when it comes to dining with a family that has little ones. The playground was great, lots of places for little ones to play and get booboo's. At approximately 7:10ish we realized that food had not arrived and we were quite hungry, I checked on it and was told although the kitchen had been backed up they were getting to our order, a little concerning and I confirmed with the bartender that they were short handed, probably not a good thing with summer coming up. When the food arrived it was decently fresh but there were some concerns. The burgers were insanely salty, waaaaay too salty for just a regular burger they were of average quality and seemed like they were small for the price. When I tried the "adult" chicken tenders I discovered that they were what I call generic 'foamy' chicken, not chicken breast with a breading and a processed white meat that are available at local super markets, this was disappointing. The kids were so hungry they ate the mac and cheese so I didn't get a review from them. The pizza was also disappointing in that the balance between sauce, cheese and pepperoni was completely off. The Buffalo wings were also quite generic, the sauces were prefab except for the dill ranch which was quite good!!! Overall it was a pretty bad experience and I felt VERY bad for the servers and kitchen people because they were working extremely hard to make the place look good. This is a failure of managment, poor scheduling, very bad choices of generic food that's easily availalbe at local supermarkets and quite frankly an insult to the staff who work so hard and the customers who expect more. In the future I'll CERTAINLY buy the brew that was made there. I doubt we'll return to the restaurant again. Overall it was a failure of managment and whomever is in charge of the food. In the end I did tip the waitress, it's NOT her fault that management is terrible and she worked hard. But the nearly $300.00 for a very mediocre experience was extremely disappointing. read more

A recent perfect Saturday for me included a beer flight, loaded green chile cheese fries, and a spot on the sunny patio of the new Denver Beer Co taproom. We arrived soon after they opened at 11:00 am which was great because it quickly filled up and had a wait not too long after. There's plenty of outside seating that's safely spaced on both the open patio and the astroturf lawn which was poppin' with families. We found the food and drink menu on our phones via the QR code and our waiter was pretty quick to take our order. While the whole staff seems to be getting used to the flow of things, we were always able to find someone to help us out. My husband and I tried a flight each, fries, and also split a cheeseburger. I really enjoyed the Incredible Pedal IPA and the Pretzel Assassin Amber Lager specifically, but the whole flight was tasty to work through. The cheeseburger really hit the spot, as did the fries. I've decided no brewery... no matter how amazing their beer is... will ever get above 3 stars from me anymore. Drinking establishments are no longer sacred places for adult fun and gatherings. Every brewery has now become a place for birthers to bring their spawn to run around screaming while we all try to enjoy drinks. I'm advocating for adult only Days, since apparently "family days" seem to be a thing now. Last thing we all want is a 4 year old screaming in our ears while trying to enjoy a quality local beer. This is such an awesome family spot and you won't miss that if you drive by. There are families and kids and dogs everywhere on the patio area. Also convenient that there is an ice cream place next door to appease the kiddos too. The beer is pretty good and the food is decent for a brewery. We had burgers and fries which were slightly above average. The service on the night we were there left something to be desired. Inconsistent and slow.
