I came here for a networking event and they had reserved the back room with all of the barrels which was such a cool space and is so perfect for a variety of different private events. They have a kind of bigfoot theme going on but it works with the brewery aesthetic and overall just had a laid back but clean and classy vibe. I got the strawberry rhubarb sour that they had on tap which was tart and light and delicious. The bartenders were polite and helpful and let me try the sour before I decided to order it. My first stop in Denver as part of my brewery tour (for myself, with myself). From the outside it didn't look like much to me. Upon entering we were greeted by the friendly man behind the bar. He told us we can scan the QR code to see the beer selection. We settled on a flight to try the few beers that caught our eye. 4 beers in a flight and we had to try the Yeti stout. In our Tin Tacker trek across the Midwest we are finishing the trip with Octoberfest in Denver. We've found a couple of nice breweries, Great Dividend Brewing Co downtown. This place made me think about having beers with "my beer friends", good people in the bar and a great staff. We had some very tasty Hazy IPA's but really should have tried that peanut butter stout that looked so rich. If you try it please post on whether it was a delicious as it looked. And we found a tin tacker. Merch was limited to some T's and stickers but they had the golden tacker! Service, quality of beers and an awesome friendly place. While in Denver to see a show we decided our day activites should be beer tasting through Lodo and Lohi! Great Divide has a great tasting area. You can do as little or as much flites as you want. I went in for the dark beers and the reds but tried the lagers.. handsdown the Pottsville Lager is a must have! They also specialize in selzers. While I did not try, I think they should be a must have on your tasting list. Service here is so great. Everyone is happy to recommend and discuss the beers. We booked an afternoon tour following another brewery walking tour that had started here. The tour wasn't anywhere close to the advertised 45 minutes; however, for $10, including a glass and free pint, it's hard to go wrong. Our guide, I can't remember his name, was personable and knowledgeable. We waited in line, no issues, the line was moving pretty good here at the Denver airport. Got up to the front , the lady who greeted us was clearly a disgruntled employee who carried her attitude and demeanor surrounding her. She put us , who have large backpacks and my husband is completely blind with a handicap stick, signifying he's blind, into a side by side tiny table next to others where there would be No Way for us to even get into without hitting these other customers. She then walked away and ignored me even though I flagged her. So we found another seating area ( there were 6 other areas .). We still chose a small place but away from disrupting others. She walked by again with her attitude and I asked excuse me could you bring me something to wipe the table. She eventually returned swiped the table, took an empty water bottle left by someone else once I asked her, and walked away with an attitude of , I'm ignoring you. I called out to her and the table was still dirty . She ignored us, u Ultimately stating because we changed tables. I explained to her we were leaving and really wanted her manager which she stated I'm sorry you didn't think I clean the table but you moved , I explained why we couldn't sit there and his disability, she said, goodbye love - turned and ignored us and walked away. What a terrible person to treat customers like this, let alone disabled completely blind person . As she walked towards the back she pointed at us, and I stated I wanted to tell her manager about her behavior, she kept interrupting and saying we moved to a different table, to which I explained her terrible behavior while she kept talking shouting over me. You should retrain her attitude or fire her. She is not a tribute to your company !!!! She is a terrible person who does not care about anyone let alone a disabled person. I'm in hopes everyone notices her and files a formal complaint !!! This should never happen to anyone. read more

Went here by chance while in Denver for a conference. We did their 4PM tour ($10) which lasted around 20 min. The guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. My most recent trip to Denver brought my friends and I to Great Divide. The fellas and I were on a brewery tour and had to check this place out. It's one of the pioneers of the Denver brewing scene. This location was convenient to where we were staying. Parking was easy. The inside was small, but at the same time, it seemed like alot of people were packed in there. We snagged a table and ordered at the bar. Two of my favorite flavor profiles popped out at me right away. I ordered a small pour of the Peanut Butter Yeti and also the Strawberry Rhubarb Sour. Two different types of beer, but they were both delicious. I would totally order these again. Out of the breweries we tried in Denver, this place is high up on my list as one of my favorites. I've tried Great Divide before, but I never got into the taproom until this past week. I'm so glad I finally stopped by! They had a great selection of beer varieties and seltzers. I ordered the Japanese Rice Lager and really enjoyed it. I would definitely get it again, and would love to see it in stores near me! The bartender was friendly and welcomed us in. The taproom isn't huge, especially the bar when you first walk in. There's more seating in the back, but I didn't get to check out that area. The inside is very casual and inviting, your typical brewery/taproom feel. I would love to come back soon and check out more of the actual brewery area! Great Divide was on the list of breweries/beers to try while visiting Denver. Stopped in and ordered a flight of IPAs. They were all pretty good! It's located in the downtown area and there is street parking available. Upon walking in, thought there was a larger space in the back but it was pretty small. Seems that they have an upstairs/rooftop area but it wasn't open. Would have been nice to sit up there and enjoy the beers. The bar area wasn't the biggest, but that wasn't w deal breaker since the beer was pretty good. Would love to try them again and sit upstairs with a little more space, as well as a brewery tour. We ended up sitting at the bar which was fine. We placed our order pretty quickly and I sampled the wild raspberry ale and car camper and ended up ordering the Mango + ginger seltzer. I'm not a huge seltzer fan but they didn't really have anything else that appealed to my palate. The seltzer was good but I hoped for a more extensive list of blonde or pale options. I go to Denver a few times a year for work and when the weather is nice I try to get out and experience the city. Great Divide isn't that far from where I work so I stopped in. The beertender was nice, but not super friendly. Like, he answered questions but wasn't forthcoming about recommendations or anything. It was also a pretty warm day and it was pretty warm inside. I guess that makes for a perfect reason to keep ordering beer though. They had a lot of IPAs and hazies on tap. They also had Collette, which is their Saison. I was happy to try that on tap directly from the source because it truly is a perfect Saison. A chill spot for great beer. read more

I love going to breweries when I'm visiting a new town or city and made no exception to this theme while I was in Denver. Great Divide was the first brewery I stopped in while I was preparing to go to the Dodgers vs. Rockies game later that evening. I wasn't impressed with the beer selection nor was I impressed with their selection of merchandise (I try to buy a shirt from each brewery I visit). My girl did, however, enjoy that they had seltzers on tap. I believe she liked the mango-ginger seltzer the best. Cool brewery in the heart of Denver. I wasn't expecting it to be very small with limited seating. We were beer hopping today and this was our first stop. There are some table tops with a full bar inside but it can get crowded easily. It was a nice afternoon so we sat outside, hardly any tables taken out there. The beer selection was decent, however they do not serve food. So if you're lucky you may catch a food truck, depending on what day or time you're there. This store is a F***ING Joke. I order here 5-6x a week. They are absolutely horrible especially with the new hires they have. I run the store next door AND live directly above. Stickers are free... Gotta say that first and foremost. :) The bartenders at this spot and so nice and even talked about the other locations they work at. I forget (it was that kind of night) the exact combo that the guy recommended, but it was one of their seltzer waters mixed with I think one of their sours. He told us he's serving out of their other spot the next day and he would charge us by the pitcher of that mix if we wanted to come in to see him the next day because we loved that combo so much. You could tell he just really loves his job. It's a cool little spot with a nice mix of locals and out-of-towners like us. People are chill and drinks are good. Be expected to show ID and wear a mask until you're seated here. It's also very small compared to a lot of other breweries I've been to. I was seated in front of a wall which wasn't great. Hard to stay longer when you're seated somewhere like that. Nevertheless, I was still keen to try some of the many beers offered here. There should easily be something for every beer drinker here. They also have new beers added every few weeks so you could drink something different every time you come here. Service was prompt to begin with which was awesome but I had to wait ages after having my second drink before I could grab someone's attention. I may have had a third of it weren't for that. As for food, there was a food truck out front when I was here. Social distancing is enforced well here which is always good to see. The bar is clean and has a basic aesthetic. The employees were lowkey rude. We walked in an hour before close and we're immediately told it's last call. When I asked if I could have a flight I was told "I guess" my friend also asked how there day was and they said "we are about to be out of here"'so they didn't seem to even enjoy it here. We wanted to play a game but we're scared we'd be scolded so we chose not to, but they do have monopoly, candy land, Yahtzee, uno, and more. Couldn't tell you everything I got in my flight because it was rushed when giving the breakdown. The place says it closed at 8pm but at 7:50 we were told to finish our drinks because they close in 4 minutes. They cut the music and stacked all the chairs. I'm sure this place has potential but also the area is a bit sketchy. So do with that as you please. There is a great divide between customer service and hospitality. read more

This was on my list to visit but knew I couldn't go without my wife and daughter. My daughter loves anything about big foots and I've recently have a love for it as well. This place was so damn cool and probably our favorite brewery visit. We liked Blue Moon because it's blue moon, but this place was different. We arrived, chose our beers, I got a flight and enjoyed them. It was nice because this place was in walking distance from the hotel. They had all sorts of merch and we got shirts, glassware, and much more. Loved the atmosphere. Smaller place. Place was solid packed with lots of people stopping for take out. They had food options as well but we just wanted to sample the beer. Ever since I've got home from Denver, we've been so fortunate to locate beer from great divide here locally which is so cool. One of my favorite breweries that we went to in Denver. Located right downtown it was within walking distance to where we were staying. They have an indoor tasting room and am outdoor patio area.
