What a lovely neighborhood bar! Parking is free, they have the smallest lot for a few cars or else you can find street parking. I ended up parking maybe a block over, which wasn't bad. Super spacious area, they have board games, plenty of seating and just a great vibe. The bartender was great at helping me choose which beers I wanted for my flight. I went with their signature IPA and then a seasonal one with peaches, but not much peach flavor to me. Stouts are my favorite, this one was the sweetest stout and it wasn't as heavy as other ones. That was nice since I was just starting out. My last was a lager, it was a little too light but it was refreshing. I came on their summer fest day and it was packed! They had a water dunk tank and it was so fun watching people get dunked and the kids have a blast dunking them. Not sure if they typically have a food tent or if this was a special occasion, but they had a grill and it smelled so good. Enjoyed my time! I see they have other locations, def check out another one next time I'm back.

Another brewery and honestly another 5 star review. The original intention was many more brewery visits for this Denver trip but only visited a few. This one was a must visit for a specific sweatshirt they had with skeletons cheering beers together my wife needed. I did briefly forgot the brewery that had it but thankfully figured out it was Cerebral. We have tried their beers in our past visit to Denver and they collaborated on a beer with one of our local breweries as well. All tasty beers in my opinion. Perfect spot for us to visit for a refreshing beer in the warm weather after checking out the botanic gardens. We enjoyed the beers on their outside seating, but don't fret they have lots of indoor seating as well. I ended up trying their mango spicy beer and my wife chose their sour on tap. Both were the perfect beers for the warm weather! Also have food trucks later on in the day as well! Bartender was friendly and made us feel welcome. The only negative I could picture is parking may be tricky but we took an uber so no problem whatsoever! They are always releasing beers every week so they should have something for everyone so give this a brewery a shot if you haven't. They also have multiple locations as well!

This is a nice little science-themed brewery, although the theme wasn't super evident other than the name and the brain logo. Only the flights come in cute beaker glasses. I came with my friend who is a big beer person, and I am not, so I just sipped a bit on the beer. We got the "All hops no hate" hazy IPA and a stout. Even though I am not a beer enjoyer, I thought these tasted fine, while my friend really liked them. We sat on the patio, and I thought they could do a better job on the ambience, both visual and auditory. Some of the music was really bizarre.

Loved the setup- the pinball machines are $1.00, so be sure to bring cash. My husband and I had a great time playing shuffleboard, the gear is in the cabinet underneath the board if you need it. They have a ton of beer choices- like they have so many they have to sort by category. We tried Cheat Code, rare trait, and Indigo Effect. Everything was good and drinkable, but didn't wow me. I really like fruit leaning beers that aren't sour, and despite the wide variety of beers there was a shortage of those. Really fun place to visit and while away some hours, for sure.

Cerebral Brewing was a charming brewery outside of downtown Denver, with a cool/nerdy concept that was very well executed. Their beers were delicious! I was impressed with the stout in particular, and wish I'd stopped by much earlier in my visit to Denver. The space was pretty standard for a brewery, with a mix of tables and communal seating. I love that they openly emphasize their values, the inclusivity was a real plus. Definitely worth stopping by if you like good beer and want to explore a fun part of Denver!

UPDATE 10/14/24: My return to Cerebral Brewing on Monroe Street in Denver. It's definitely time for a long awaited update, seeing that my previous review for them is from 2019. We try to visit Cerebral Brewing every time we visit Denver, which includes a daily rotation of food trucks outside. Their food truck for the night was Tum Yumz, a food truck that serves all types of Asian food. I strongly suggest you take a rideshare here because Cerebral Brewing is located within a residential neighborhood and it can be a huge pain to find a good parking spot on the street. Upon entering, we were given a stamp on the back of our hands by the lady guarding the entrance and checking IDs. It was busy but we managed to find a table outside that was the shape of a beer barrel. Bring your fur baby, too, because their patio is dog friendly! My parents got a beer flight but seeing that they had one beer slushy flavor available, I went for that myself because I wanted to try something different. I was more focused on the slushy and didn't get the chance to try out the beer flight, but one of the beers that they had was the same flavor as my slushy. Holy crap, this slushy tasted SO GOOD, literally like I was drinking one of these from 7-Eleven. It was so good that I decided to have another one after I finished the first one. The flavor in question was berry brain freeze or something close to that. We also decided to order food from Tum Yumz, which took about 15-20 minutes for it to come out. We ordered some egg rolls, crab wontons, and a bag of rice. The egg rolls and the crab wontons were very tasty and fulfilled my dinner needs. The wontons were even packed with cream cheese inside, which made them taste even better. We enjoyed Cerebral Brewing once again and we will be back again next time we visit Denver!

In Denver for a day and wanted some new beer. Searched and saw some pictures of Hazy IPA's so I got on the road. Read a review saying this place is known for IPA's and barrel aged stouts. Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of big tables with seating. No comfy couches to hang out on which is a bonus but plenty of seating. Several barrels are stacked up on the south side of the tasting room which gives the place a good feeling and makes me want something out of a barrel. The bar lady recommended a couple of hazy's to try. One was their flagship Rare Trait. It was very drinkable and I could normally drink several but I chose their newest since it has a unique flavor "intentionally blank". It is very tasty. So hazy that you can't see through it. Drives me crazy to order a hazy when it isn't. Good place. No food. I smelled something delicious as I walked in but it must be the Taco place next door. I'm going to have one.

Cerebral Brewing is one of my favorite Denver Breweries. When it comes to IPAs, they are well known. Their Stout game, maybe even more so. But their lagers are some of the smoothest, tastiest, decoctions you can have. For GABF, they had three fun events. One being a "Group Project" line of beers they did in collaboration with a bunch of breweries. Another, a Barrel project collaboration with Moksa. And the last, a tap takeover with friends of the brewery. I made sure to enjoy all of the events in one! Check out these flights and the amazing beers I got to try. Same Day Shipping (2024): An IPA brewed in collaboration with Fidens, Xul, and Casey. Group Project: West Coast Pale Ale: West Coast Pale Ale brewed in collaboration with Cellarmaker, Cloudburst, and OMF. Group Project: Landbier: A Pale Lager brewed in collaboration with Halfway Crooks, Olfactory, and Cohesion. TDH Hop-Fu! - Gold Edition: A Triple IPA from North Park Beer Company Heavy Rhymes: A Double IPA from Xul Beer Underground Methods: A Barrel Aged Blend of stouts brewed in collaboration with Moksa Barrel House Blend (2024): A specialty blend during the festival of Imperial Stouts with Moksa Group Project: West Coast IPA: A WIPA in collaboration with Ghost Town Brewing, North Park Beer Company, Westbound & Down Hop Measuring Contest (2024): A heavily hopped Double IPA from Westbound and Down 100% Nelson: A Hazy IPA brewed by Casey Brewing _____________-

Cerebral is one of my boyfriend's favorite breweries in Colorado so we always have to go when we are in town. When you first walk in, they do ID you and then you get a fun stamp. They have a super large patio which is lovely on a nice day. The inside is also quite large with lots of seating. The staff is nice and helpful. They don't have food but they did have a food truck outside on our last visit. They have a wide variety of beers. From IPAs to stouts, sours, lagers, and even beer slushies, they have something for everyone. Every beer I've tried from them has been fantastic. I will usually pick up a specialty bottle to bring home. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

Standard craft brewery setup. Not much of an IPA drinker anymore but the Ripe Trait with Palisade Peaches was *so* good.

Enjoyed my time here! The website and theme brought me here, seemed like a cool brewery to check out. I asked for a couple samples of beer which they serve in beaker glasses which was cute. I will say they're quite stingy with their sample portions, it was hardly a sip which made it hard to decide which beer I wanted. They use the same beaker glasses when you get a flight. And they have a cute logo with a brain on it on their standard glasses, along with other swag items they sell for purchase. I ended up getting their chocolate stout and it was delicious. Good stuff!

My favorite brewery in Denver! Patio is amazing and the beer is great. In the summer the beer slushies are so refreshing. The bartenders are always friendly and remember the regulars. 10/10!

Had a lovely afternoon at cerebral. Games were on TV's. People were friendly. Patio was hopping and there was a good truck outside serving up Mexican fare. Plenty to love and return for another time.

Ask the Community - Cerebral Brewing

    Do they allow dogs?

They do on their outside patio. I believe there is a city of. Denver ordinance not allowing dogs inside any brewery.

    Are dogs allowed?

On the patio only but yes! They even have some dog bowls out too

Do they serve food here and where is there food menu?

They don't serve food, but there is sometimes a food truck. It is next door to restaurants as well.

    Does the brewery allow children?

All of the breweries allow children, but controlling them is a common gripe. Our son has been going with us since two days old. He's almost 5 now. Just bring entertainment and don't ignore your children and you'll be good to go.

The two guys working the bar, Josh and Jake, are super friendly and made us feel like they've known us forever. That was awesome. Such a great neighborhood bar vibe. There's a great selection at the bar. I tried the seasonal porter and went so far to have another when I finished the first one. Josh and I talked about porter beers for a bit. The food selection is great and the food itself was awesome. No complaints. Great sized portions, the Cubano Sandwich exceeded my expectations, and we had the stuffed tater tots (tater kegs?) as an appetizer. Again, outstanding. As mentioned, even though it was our first time there we were made to feel like some of the regulars through conversation and the like. The crowd is eclectic. And, having lived in Chicago for a while, it was fun to do a shot of Malört with the bartenders and some of the other folks sitting at the bar. Go here. One of the best experiences I've had in this type of establishment in years.

We kicked things off with the Tater Kegs basically five mega tots stuffed with bacon, chive, and cheddar. They were insanely good. I could've easily taken down another order, but I knew what was coming next... the wings. These bad boys are smoked for 12 hours, then fried up and dunked in house made sauces that taste like they've been perfected over time. We went with Kicking Bourbon (sweet with a little heat) and Alabama White Sauce (creamy, tangy perfection). The blue cheese and ranch are homemade...you can actually taste the difference and the fries? Crispy, golden, and gone way too fast. To wash it down, I grabbed a local Kölsch on tap; icy cold, light, and spot-on with the wings. And the vibe? Perfect mix of chill and fun. The bartenders were super friendly, the music hit right, and the whole place just had that "local favorite" energy. Honestly, Wild Corgi Pub is one of those spots that doesn't try too hard it just nails it. Good food, good people, good beer. That's all you need. I'll definitely hit this spot again when we return for another weekend getaway!
