Great Czech style beers. All the beers are on a Czech side pull tap (Lukr faucet). The bartender was super friendly and helped me navigate some choices. I had a milk pour. Just like the Czech Republic. They have stickers and merch. Outdoor seating. It is in a bit of an industrial area. Close enough downtown by scooter or Uber though. If you like traditional Czech beer, this is your place.

Bright, spacious and clean taproom. They specialize in Czech style Lagers. They had 6 beers on tap and we tried all 6. The bar staff ladies were super friendly ! A unique brewery with some solid beers. Cheers!

New favorite brewery in Denver!! Lots of parking with an indoor and outdoor warehouse spaces they specialize in Czech beers. You can get 3 different points with different amounts of foam. All of their beers are crisp and super refreshing lots of seating inside and outside. Perfect for families, kids or a casual weekend afternoon. There's also a yummy pizza food truck near by. Lots of parking as well! Get the foam milk to try if you can.

    Pale ale - yummy!!!

Great location and excellent beers, but the only thing I would say is that the service seemed very lackadaisical. The patio was cool though and I appreciate the horizontal lagertons. The product names are also creative! Overall, I enjoyed it!

Another lager brewery that I had been wanting to check out for a very, very long time was Cohesion Brewing. They focus on Czech style lagers with beautiful taps and even more beautiful beers. I wanted to try as many of their beers as I could, so I got a flight. Which, to be fair, is a very poor representation of the beer as I think it deserves to be poured into a full glass with a nice head of foam, but I gave into my desire to taste all their delectable beverages. Cohesion 10°: A Czech Pale Lager that is single decocted with just a nice light hop flavor and a kiss of malt sweetness. Cohesion 8°: A Czech Pale Lager double decocted with Sládek and Saaz hops and late additions of Sládek. Bright with light citrus notes and a backbone of cracker malt flavors. Group Project: Landbier: A Czech Lager brewed in collaboration with Halfway Crooks, Olfactory, and Cerebral. Hopped with Saaz, Hallertau Mittelfruh, and Perle. Cohesion 12º: A Czech Pale Lager triple decocted and hopped with traditional Czech hops. Herbal and bitter with some light sweet malt character. Cohesion Tmavé 14º: A Czech Dark Lager double decocted with rich flavors of chocolate and molasses. Černá Ovce: A Czech Dark Lager brewed in collaboration with Halfway Crooks Brewing. Coffee and roasted notes. Some dark cacao as well hitting the palate _____________

Cute brewery with nice outdoor patio!! Enjoyed the different beer options. Surprised to see a brewery where they actually have tasty foam that they want you to try as part of the beer drinking experience.

Delish Czech lagers, pair quite nicely with a sunny patio day in December! I'll be back for the Hot wax & Hladinka event

    The awesome Černý Les Lager!

I ducked into Cohesion Brewing Company, eager to take out as many Denver breweries as I possibly could while visiting and I enjoyed my stop here. I got the Černý Les which was a lager. I was doing a string of this beer type at many of the breweries I was going to while in my trip. Not really any good reason other than when it's warmer outside I like to drink lighter beers and lagers is one of my favorite beer types. Flavor features with this lager is a malty, grassy flavors with a crisp snap to it. Refreshing and enjoyable I am glad I made a quick stop at Cohesion to experience one of their beers!

Went here on 11/10/24. Brought a few friends who have never been. A lot of tables. Good size inside and patio. They had 5 of their own beers and a few guest taps I believe. Their beer is great. The Half Dark (Amber) was really good. Fun atmosphere. Bartenders were are very friendly. Definitely an experience with their beers. Multiple ways you can order. Cheers!

While visiting Denver, I knew I had to check out all the breweries I possibly could - it's my thing. My boyfriend and I swung by Cohesion after looking to see how far of a walk it was to all the others. We were not disappointed. It's tucked away way back into a warehouse, so it wasn't too busy when we arrived. The two ladies at the bar were very friendly and explained the beers and the different foam levels. We ended on a flight so we could try them all! Every beer was crisp and spot on to every style as described. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and tidiness of the place and how different it was from some of the other breweries we have been too. Worth checking out and some cute merchandise!

Absolutely delicious beers. I love Czech style beers and they did not disappoint. The brewery had indoor and outdoor seating which was a nice option as it was sunny but windy when we were there. The staff was super helpful and the brewery space was nicely done. I hope to get back to Denver and have more of their beers.

Seriously! You need to Czech this place out! Such a unique place serving up Czech style beers. Don't worry about pronouncing the beers, the have a Czech pronunciation guide. Černý Les is a light golden beer. My favorite! Their beers range from 3.7% to 5.8% ABV. The bar has beautiful aquamarine subway tile. Service at the bar is friendly and they are happy to serve you a giant mug of beer with foamy head. Just like a Czech beer is supposed to be.

    14º Tmavé

Let me start by noting that Cohesion is one of a kind in Colorado. It's the only brewery exclusively producing Czech lagers. Even if this isn't your style, a visit here may open your mind and palate. Many don't know this, but the original Budweiser is a Czech lager brewed in the town of Budjovice (German = Budweis). In Europe, they are Budweiser and the American stuff is "Bud." It's almost impossible to score in the US in its original brown bottle, but tastes sublime if you can find one. On my first trip to Cohesion a quick chat with the beertender revealed that he also loves this beer and they strive to meet or exceed that standard. Music to my ears! I'd say they live up to that goal. Order at the bar and watch the unique, Czech style pour, but don't fret when they leave an inch or more of foam. This is how your beer would come in Prague. Indoors, find comfortable seating with plenty of room & ample sunlight, The outdoor patio sits about five feet above the parking lot, offering tables with umbrellas and a view, so to speak. Czech beers don't overwhelm with high alcohol content--the highest I've had at Cohesion was 5.4% This allows you to try a few and stay a while without getting hammered. The alcohol content of beers here is noted in the degrees Plato included at the end of a beer's name. Higher number = greater abv. My favorite so far is the 14º Tmavé Speciální Pivo, a dark lager bursting with smooth, yet robust flavors . It's delicious--definitely one of my top 5 beers brewed in Denver. Overall, I've tried six different brews since my first Tmavé. All winners. Cohesion features food trucks most days; they post a calendar on their website The Euro theme goes beyond decor and beer names written in Czech. Beer mugs are sized with the metric system. If that seems like a little much, find one of the many table tents provided with a primer on Czech beer pronunciation, and take a gander before you order. Caution: The restroom is down several loooong hallways. It feels like almost a quarter mile. Plan your ins and outs carefully. Overall, Cohesion easily earns five stars for the unique beers and theme, quality and taste of their brews, the friendly vibe, and comfortable space.

A beer with a ton of head to me is a bad pour. I've never been to a brewery where serving a ton of head is a pour style?

Loved listening to the bands, and exploring the huge space. They have olllllld school pinball game, giant jenga, gigantic cornhole, trash can sized beer pong, and ladder ball (normal size). They also have an original Nintendo with Mario. Seating a little tricky, be careful sitting on the benches, they move in odd ways. But loved the tables and chairs upstairs with the perfect view of the stage! Service was my only complaint- I think the first guy at the bar was having a hard time because they were so busy. I waited at the bar for a while without being acknowledged, then by the time he did finally notice me he just held up a finger. Finally a chick came over and took my order, but it took a while. She was perfectly nice, however, and it wouldn't stop me from returning or recommending them. The helles was a decent German beer with a good depth of flavor- I would come back and try their other beers for sure. Highly highly recommend and will absolutely be back for other events! They had a section with some large games like beer, pong and cornhole as well as a separate side that had a stage. The upstairs location had some tables and a ton of plants. You could overlook everything from the upstairs. The night was fun, but the place seemed dead for the most part. Kind of surprising for a nice weekend night. There is also a loud rowdy group that was kind of monopolizing all of the large games so we didn't get a chance to play those. Beer was decent although they do add a 20% charge. Criminally unknown brewery…read more I feel like rino is very well-known in the Denver metro area. Sadly East five points is not, there's a lot of local politics and debate about it. Welton street has had a very hard time making and keeping a name for itself. Spangalang is one of the staples that is keeping it alive. At the end of the day, I guess it's just another local brewery. But there are some garbage local breweries that are getting more notoriety than this brewery with quite frankly less to their name to e title them to that notoriety. I'm in the main itself. It's a reference to the legacy of the neighborhood. I think the legacy of the neighborhood is its greatest, cultural gift, but sadly the thing that seems to be holding it back also. On the whole, the Denver Metro area doesn't seem to be giving Welton street it's due and there's probably no business on this street. That's a better example of that than Spangalang. They make solid beer. They are integrated in the community. They have a good local parents. If you live in the neighborhood, you owe it to everyone in the neighborhood to patronize this local local establishment and your patronage will be rewarded. If you're not from five points if your loss if you don't bother.

I do wish they had a better cocktail menu to choose from. One of the drinks I thought I might've been interested in wasn't available, so I chose the Electric Slide. It was explained as a blue koolaid seltzer of sorts. I was expecting something sweet and fizzy, it was fizzy and a little on the sweet side but not enough to relate it to koolaid (at least the kind that was made in our kitchen growing up). I also ordered the Cajun mac n cheese with chicken. The chicken was on the drier side, the flavor was pretty good though. The Mac n cheese gave nothing Cajun, it could've used a little bit more seasoning, but their base was very yummy and the cheese wasn't coagulated (big win!). I was not very impressed with the food, the service was good, and it was slow (which was nice it was calm and perfect for a girl catch up sesh). They have their own parking which makes life make sense.
