Stopped into Prost Brewing for a beer and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the decor was really cool with a fun, laid-back vibe. I ordered the rotating tap sour beer and it was very tasty. A great spot to relax and enjoy a quality beer. I'd definitely check it out again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
My friends and I came to see Shakesbeer, so thank you Prost for hosting the show! We all laughed until we cried, and had a great time! I got the chicken diner, which was good but missing the spicy sauce. My friend got the same dish and did get the spicy sauce, so I think it's just a consistency issues. Another friend got the spaetzle Mac and cheese, and that was the winner for sure. I am going to get that next time. The beer is always good, especially the Vienna. Love the little spots to take photos! I always recommend this brewery, but especially if they continue to invite Shakesbeer shows.
We stopped here on our way back in from lazy river tubing in the mountains, and it really hit the spot. I got the Reuben, which was fantastic. Really good meat and the sauerkraut was delicious. My gf got the wings, I can't for the life of me remember the name of the sauce, but it was the other option than the buffalo sauce. It was very good, I believe it was a sriracha base and I would choose it over the buffalo if you enjoy some spice. The summer lager wasn't bad, I wouldn't say it's the best beer I've ever had but it did the job on a wicked hot day. The staff was very pleasant, and the place itself was laid out nicely. The outdoor seating is nice, although I was getting BEAT by the sun. There is shade, I was just not lucky enough to find it. Overall, definitely a place I would return to! Prost has a fun, lively atmosphere with tons of seating -- both indoors and outdoors. It's super spacious, and I can definitely see why it's a popular spot, especially for groups or casual hangouts. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly, and they even have water bowls out for pups, which is awesome! There's a huge selection of beers, which is a big plus. The food, though, was just okay -- not bad, but nothing that really stood out. That said, the service was good and the food came out pretty quickly.
Rating does not include any food. German beers are, of course, nut allergy friendly. We got here around 2:00 PM on a Saturday afternoon. There's ample indoor seating. As we were hanging out, several big groups came in, but it never felt overcrowded. It was very easy and quick to get drinks at the counter. I asked for the bartenders' favorites and ended up with a 0.5L of the Summer Lager (recommend) and a 0.5L of the Hefeweizen (VERY banana forward). I really enjoyed both and the price was reasonable. A lot of people complain about the 18% mandatory gratuity, but it's pretty clearly stated eveyewhere. My recommendation is to use inKind for a discount (happy to elaborate). I paid via inKind with no issues at the end; they just need a card up front to hold the tab. Overall, I'd definitely come back to hang out with people. The UFC fight was on a TV too. The only hiccup is that the parking is quite tight.

I had the Vienna Lager, which recently won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival, and my friend had the hefeweizen which is always a solid choice. They also have a great happy hour! The $5 pretzel bites were too delicious, and came with mustard and beer cheese. The patio was decorated like Oktoberfest, and there were many German decoration accents throughout the brewery. The bartender was very friendly and helpful.

During the day it's super kid friendly and it's dog friendly from open to close! They even give treats to the dogs, and have a water station with plenty of bowls for the doggies as well! All of the staff are fun and kind people. Make sure you check into their events- whether is a band, DJ, Oktoberfest, GABF, or many others there is always something going on around here! It's conveniently located just outside of downtown in LoHi so it has great walkability. Parking is limited though, so be prepared to pay for a street spot. Happy hour has great deals and is ALL DAY LONG on Mondays!

Prost Brewing is straight up one of the most impressive spots in the game. The people here? Unreal. Some of the best personalities you'll find in beer. Just genuine, passionate, good humans that clearly love what they do. The facility itself is a technological marvel. You walk through and it feels like a damn symphony of stainless. Everything dialed, spotless, efficient. They have a vacuum boiler (I've been in the game for years, never heard of that) and they double decoct almost thier entire menu. You can tell every piece of it was built by people who really really care about the craft, not just the aesthetics, hype, or trends. And the beer? Lazer precise. Every pour hits clean, consistent, and balanced like it was brewed on a stopwatch. No fluff, no gimmicks, just absolute mastery of execution. Prost is the kind of place that reminds you how cool this industry really can be when the right people are behind it. Cheers boys, thank you again for your hospitality.
Fun patio with heaters and gas fire pits- sometimes have a food truck and have a small food menu. Mostly lagers- gives a real German vibe. We had the brat and sauerkraut and it was awesome!
This place has a big open social gathering with tables, fire pits with seating around it, an outside patio. Lots of seating but when we went it was still hard to find a place to sit since it was packed. I ordered one of the cheeseburgers and it actually had some type of sweet jam on it which was different but I really liked it...although it did make a mess. We also ordered the pigs in a blanket which was also pretty good. Food came out fast and it wasn't too expensive. I also got an Italian Pilsner which was pretty good beer

German beers, German food, and pretzels? Count me in. This spacious brewery checks a lot of boxes if you like German beer and hearty food. I tried a sampler of their greatest hits (beers) and received six samples, each containing 5 ounces of golden liquid. That's 30 ounces, folks. (I didn't drink every drop and also had a designated driver, so no worries.) I liked the beers but didn't love them. I did enjoy the Helles-style beer the best. The pretzel was delicious and came with mustard and a delicious cheese sauce. We also tried a bratwurst that was nice but a little mild for my taste. The sauerkraut and coleslaw were both very average but the potato salad was very good. We enjoyed our time here. Good luck with parking--there are only about four spots in their lot so you will likely need to park in the neighborhood and hoof it. read more

Cool little brewery in the highlands. Mostly German style- helles, Hefeweizen, Kolsch, etc. If that's not your style, handful of guest beers, cocktails on tap, seltzers, and wine. They have a couple food options as well. If I didn't have lunch already I would definitely get the buffalo jalapeño cheddar brat. Long wooden tables on the inside and really cool lighting fixtures made from antlers. Plenty of TVs with sports on. Am I in Berlin or Denver? read more
Sitting outside on the patio is really nice - it was a hot day and there was some shade from umbrellas. The shade spots fill up quick tho so be ready for sun. The inside is nice too- large area with picnic tables. They did have 1 TV but I wouldn't go here to watch a game. They did have a little food window with pretzels and other small bites but we didn't get any. We got one of the brewery passports and this was one place on it so we got a "free" beer! read more

Stopped here for a beer after walking around and grabbing some food. I loved how open this brewery was. The woman behind the bar was nice and promptly served us a flight of all the beers we wanted to try. They had a good selection and every beer was great. Really crisp and full bodied. The merch looked good too! I would love to come back. read more

Honestly have to update my review because I'm embarrassed by my childish palate of the one I left 7 years ago. I have finally matured it seems and very much enjoy the Prost beers, especially the Marzens and Dunkles. Enough to take a 12 pack home after spending some time here for Oktoberfest. Great patio and indoor area, lots of a space. They have food now which is nice. Pretzel was good, 4/5 wurst was good also a 4/5. German potato salad was amazing 100/5 and the slaw was bland with no flavor 0/5. Could have used some vinegar or something cuz it just tasted like cabbage and water not even any salt. Luckily that pot salad made up for it; it was so damn good. The fresh dill was on point. Will definitely come back. Great place to get some German beers if you're in the mood. read more

Prost has a really cool ambiance. It's a great brewery to hit up during the cooler months, as it's a very open concept. The beer hall is large and airy, and connected directly to a spacious patio with shade. I've been here multiple times, but this was the first time I'd ever tried their food. The schnitzel sandwich, while good, was difficult to eat. The ratio of meat to bread was off, and I ended up having to deconstruct it and eat with a fork and knife. The flavor was great, though. As far as the beer goes, they have a lot of different options and their pours are generous. Drinking out of the boot is a lot of fun. This is a very dog friendly brewery, so make sure to bring Fido! The one thing that I do find tacky about this place is that they add an 18% service charge automatically, then ask you to tip again on top of it. I'm always happy to tip for good service, but having it be obligatory is a turn off. read more
Updating to include the boots. Comes out to about 68 oz I believe so I promise you they are bigger then you think. Very fun activity to enjoy responsibly! You need to put in a $45 deposit for a boot in case you break it. read more
This place is a blast!! I wish we lived in Denver so we could go back! This is a dog friendly restaurant. We were rejected by another "dog friendly" restaurant because they didn't allow them on the weekends and stumbled upon Prost Brewing! Which we are so happy we did. This place has open eating with a covered patio. It's a walk up and order so I don't have much to say on the service it was as good as any walk up and order establishment is. You order drinks inside and food outside at a food truck. They have a large TV where you can watch football and a variety of large backyard style games like connect four that you can play at your table. Overall great experience we had a blast and I am so thankful that we ended up going here instead of the restaurant up the street! Such a fun atmosphere with great vibes! read more
We have lived so close to Prost for years and I've avoided it like the plague because I don't like German beer. But we had friends over who love it and insisted it was a must try. I was so pleased to see that they had a bunch of non-German beers available cleverly listed under "rule breakers". I tried both the Blood Orange Gose and the Grapefruit Radler and they were both really yummy. The grapefruit radler was definitely my favorite of the two. My friends got the German biers and said the Pilsner and dunkel were their favorites. Huge plus the music they were playing was 10/10 and we were singing along to every song!! We weren't hungry so we didn't try any of the food, but have heard their stuff if really good and the other food we saw being ordered looked pretty tasty. Will definitely be back to try some along with some more of their tasty beers! We also heard that their beer is brewed at Avery in Boulder, which is another favorite of ours so it made sense we liked their beers so much. read more
Walked in on a Thursday afternoon for a refreshing, authentic German Hefeweizen. I wasn't disappointed! It was just like I was back in Germany! The tasting room is spacious and looks like it could have been taken right out of Bavaria. The service was friendly and quick! read more

Before taking my friend to the airport, we drove a few minutes away from my apartment to Prost Brewing, which I've been eyeing FOREVER. It's right next to Avanti, which I frequent, and it's right off the freeway. Since it was late Monday afternoon, there was hardly anyone inside. We sat at some high tops with a barrel as a table (my favorite) and ordered beers and pretzels. Service is great. The pretzels were huge and sufficiently salted, properly paired with mustard. I don't know much about German beers, so I usually pick something light or ask the waiter or bartender. Looking around at the spaciousness and wonderful décor, I can see myself coming with a few more friends and having a wilder time. Can't wait! read more
German hops! German beer! German done right! It's so hard to find German beers that are actually brewed with real German hops in the US. They do it right and you can TASTE it! It definitely brought back memories from our Germany trip a few years back. We loved it so much while visiting we went twice! Didn't manage the boot, but next time! Pröst! However, the women's restroom is so weird. It's like they haven't put up the stall walls yet- just 1 sink and 2 toilets in the same room. After drinking a few, I had flashbacks to Mexico, but luckily no one was charging for use hah. read more

Hello Katie! Great questions. Prost ships all of its ingredients directly from German. For hops, we use exclusively noble hops grown in the Hallertau region. Prost!
