Prost never disappoints. Love the beers, love the people, love the atmosphere! The parking lot is small so don't try to park your big ol' truck in there, ha ha ha. Ask me how I know...

Prost has a fun, lively atmosphere with tons of seating -- both indoors and outdoors. It's super spacious, and I can definitely see why it's a popular spot, especially for groups or casual hangouts. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly, and they even have water bowls out for pups, which is awesome! There's a huge selection of beers, which is a big plus. The food, though, was just okay -- not bad, but nothing that really stood out. That said, the service was good and the food came out pretty quickly.

Rating does not include any food. German beers are, of course, nut allergy friendly. We got here around 2:00 PM on a Saturday afternoon. There's ample indoor seating. As we were hanging out, several big groups came in, but it never felt overcrowded. It was very easy and quick to get drinks at the counter. I asked for the bartenders' favorites and ended up with a 0.5L of the Summer Lager (recommend) and a 0.5L of the Hefeweizen (VERY banana forward). I really enjoyed both and the price was reasonable. A lot of people complain about the 18% mandatory gratuity, but it's pretty clearly stated eveyewhere. My recommendation is to use inKind for a discount (happy to elaborate). I paid via inKind with no issues at the end; they just need a card up front to hold the tab. Overall, I'd definitely come back to hang out with people. The UFC fight was on a TV too. The only hiccup is that the parking is quite tight.

Lovely place for a German style beer and eats. I had the Vienna Lager, which recently won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival, and my friend had the hefeweizen which is always a solid choice. They also have a great happy hour! The $5 pretzel bites were too delicious, and came with mustard and beer cheese. The patio was decorated like Oktoberfest, and there were many German decoration accents throughout the brewery. The bartender was very friendly and helpful.

Prost is always a great spot to stop! Daytime or night! Good food (kitchen is open until an hour before close everyday). They have a kitchen indoors now and the food truck is gone. During the day it's super kid friendly and it's dog friendly from open to close! They even give treats to the dogs, and have a water station with plenty of bowls for the doggies as well! All of the staff are fun and kind people. Make sure you check into their events- whether is a band, DJ, Oktoberfest, GABF, or many others there is always something going on around here! It's conveniently located just outside of downtown in LoHi so it has great walkability. Parking is limited though, so be prepared to pay for a street spot. Happy hour has great deals and is ALL DAY LONG on Mondays!

Amazing food and authentic German beer. Thoroughly enjoyed my day. The music was great Service quick and ambience fun - I will definitely return.

Prost Brewing is straight up one of the most impressive spots in the game. The people here? Unreal. Some of the best personalities you'll find in beer. Just genuine, passionate, good humans that clearly love what they do. The facility itself is a technological marvel. You walk through and it feels like a damn symphony of stainless. Everything dialed, spotless, efficient. They have a vacuum boiler (I've been in the game for years, never heard of that) and they double decoct almost thier entire menu. You can tell every piece of it was built by people who really really care about the craft, not just the aesthetics, hype, or trends. And the beer? Lazer precise. Every pour hits clean, consistent, and balanced like it was brewed on a stopwatch. No fluff, no gimmicks, just absolute mastery of execution. Prost is the kind of place that reminds you how cool this industry really can be when the right people are behind it. Cheers boys, thank you again for your hospitality.

Fun patio with heaters and gas fire pits- sometimes have a food truck and have a small food menu. Mostly lagers- gives a real German vibe. We had the brat and sauerkraut and it was awesome!

This place has a big open social gathering with tables, fire pits with seating around it, an outside patio. Lots of seating but when we went it was still hard to find a place to sit since it was packed. I ordered one of the cheeseburgers and it actually had some type of sweet jam on it which was different but I really liked it...although it did make a mess. We also ordered the pigs in a blanket which was also pretty good. Food came out fast and it wasn't too expensive. I also got an Italian Pilsner which was pretty good beer

Cool little brewery in the highlands. Mostly German style- helles, Hefeweizen, Kolsch, etc. If that's not your style, handful of guest beers, cocktails on tap, seltzers, and wine. They have a couple food options as well. If I didn't have lunch already I would definitely get the buffalo jalapeño cheddar brat. Long wooden tables on the inside and really cool lighting fixtures made from antlers. Plenty of TVs with sports on. Am I in Berlin or Denver?

Sitting outside on the patio is really nice - it was a hot day and there was some shade from umbrellas. The shade spots fill up quick tho so be ready for sun. The inside is nice too- large area with picnic tables. They did have 1 TV but I wouldn't go here to watch a game. They did have a little food window with pretzels and other small bites but we didn't get any. We got one of the brewery passports and this was one place on it so we got a "free" beer!

Stopped here for a beer after walking around and grabbing some food. I loved how open this brewery was. The woman behind the bar was nice and promptly served us a flight of all the beers we wanted to try. They had a good selection and every beer was great. Really crisp and full bodied. The merch looked good too! I would love to come back.

Can kids come here?

We bring our kiddo all the time. They've got high chairs and many families are normally dining in when we've been.

Do they use German hops or American? Makes all the difference in German beer!

Hello Katie! Great questions. Prost ships all of its ingredients directly from German. For hops, we use exclusively noble hops grown in the Hallertau region. Prost!

The space has a great buzz to it--lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--making it a perfect spot for a casual hangout or a mid-week pick-me-up. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. It's rare to find a place where the service matches the high energy of the room so perfectly. On top of the great atmosphere, the prices are very reasonable. It's refreshing to find a spot in Denver that delivers this kind of quality and experience without breaking the bank. Whether you're looking for a new local go-to or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back for sure!

Went with a friend and since this a walk up and order place that doesn't serve you like a…read morerestaurant, I was very surprised to find out they automatically charge a 20% gratuity on every order. The service was subpar, if not terrible to non-existent. You have to pay at each station you order from so you cannot get food and drinks at the same place. This is not only inconvenient but also a lot of work on the customer's part, similar to a mall food court. Clearly not well thought out and seems a bit pointless. The bartender was nice, however, and seemed to be the only person that knew what was going on during my recent experience here. I tried to order something vegan here, in which you would think the typical fares that are vegan would be safe to order, but not even the falafel is vegan bc they put eggs in it for some strange and unusual reason. (Mind you I'm a falafel connoisseur and it's always vegan and does not require eggs for the purpose of a binding agent, as they explain here. ) Thinking the veggie and hummus plate would be safe, I asked if it was vegan and was told it was. When I received it, there was some large mass of white yogurt type substances on it which encompassed all of my veggies. I took the plate back up to the counter to ask what it was and they told me that it was yogurt based and I should just eat around it. Feeling slighted, I begrudgingly went back to my table and started wiping the yogurt, substance off of my veggies and tried to separate them out as much as I could. My friend saw me struggling with my food and having been in the restaurant industry herself, she was confused on the customer service side of things so she decided to order us some sweet potato fries to cheer me up and go chat with the clerk. She asked the clerk about it and told her that she needed to replace the dip with something else I could not eat since they served me something dairy based when I had clearly asked for something vegan. The clerk obviously was dumbfounded and just looked at my friend like she was from Mars! She asked to speak to a manager to help out with the situation since are was getting nowhere with the attending clerk. The manager was extremely surprised that there was a vegan request and offered to send over some hummus and extra veggies to circumvent the situation. I guess they don't know what vegans are here and do not offer anything for vegans, gluten free, or other food intolerance. This is incredibly insulting given that this is fairly new place and it's 2026!! Get with the times people! Even barbecue restaurants have vegan options or at least know what a vegan is! The veggies seemed fresh, but I was extremely disappointed in the hummus, which was definitely Cedars store-bought. It was very grainy and lacked much flavor. The value for the meal was just not there, on top of having terrible customer support. Given I paid $15 + a non-negotiable, mandatory 20% tip. I could have easily went and got myself a package of Cedars at the grocery store and chopped up a few veggies with pita bread to eat at home. Point being, I was really hungry when I met my friend for drinks and had a very long day at work so I just wanted to get food in my stomach. I was extremely disappointed in the entire situation, to say the least. I must add the drinks are expensive and only found one to be enjoyable. The strawberry lemonade did not have any strawberries or taste as such. It was just a super sweet concoction with subpar vodka that is premade. Again, what am I tipping 20% for if the drinks are premade with low grade ingredients and I'm ordering from a window without any actual server serving me in any way? Although the idea and decor is original and has a nice ambiance, they clearly missed their mark when it comes to ease of ordering, value, and customer service. They clearly have zero clue to what vegan (or dietary preference) is and have yet to establish any connection with their customer base or demographic of Denver, with its versatile citywide culture.

My friend and I went here for a single mixer event and we've both never been to this venue so we weren't quite sure what to expect. Since the event was hosting, they bought all the drinks and food so I won't go too much into that but they did serve chicken nuggets and fries all night and they were hot fresh and flavorful! The venue itself is huge! Plenty of outdoor seating enough room for everyone and then they have two separate indoor seating areas one on the top floor and one on the main floor. I would definitely suggest this place for a casual meet up with a large friend group or even hosting an event here. The servers and staff were all pretty friendly quickly, busing table tables as they saw empty drinks and baskets. They also brought out fries and chicken tenders as fast as possible. Overall, the venue itself is wonderful and the service was great. I would definitely suggest hosting an event or having a large gathering here.

Thought I would jump in to help up their current rating of 3.7 start as my yesterday's experience…read moreat this establishment in the LoHi was quite good. I was in the neighborhood for my side hustle shifts so the purpose of my visit was to grab something quick so I would be able to eat in the car after my assignment was done. When I saw the Chickpea Pesto on the digital menu, I simply couldn't think of anything else. I went with it without any sides. The price was $11. The food preparation didn't take too long despite being quite busy in the mid afternoon on Easter. Quick service is always a plus. In a matter of 10 minutes or so, the lady with whom I placed my order handed me my food. When I saw the inside of the container, I knew something went wrong. It appeared that what was between the buns was indeed chickpea basil but I ordered the wrap version of the Chickpea Burger as that option was indeed listed on the menu. Turns out, the manager (Mookie) who stepped in to correct the situation said that version was supposed to be taken off/out from the menu (or something along those lines he said) but it had still been remaining on it. He generously and kindly offered to get me something else with no additional charge so I ordered the Cobb Salad to substitute it. Right after placing it though, Mookie realized that his kitchen staff could still make the wrap version of the veggie burger so he had it quickly made and brought it to me. In the meantime, my Cobb Salad was never cancelled so he also brought that out. And all of a sudden, I had three dishes with the price of one dish ($11). Oh boy, I truly felt bad for this so I gave him my quick apology for all the confusion and mishaps. He was so pleasant about it and said I could keep all three with "Don't worry about it" comment. Since I didn't need three dishes, I gave the salad to my colleague friend who was in the restaurant with me (she ordered chicken tenders so she too, ended up with two dishes with one dish price!) m Thanks to Mookie and his kind staff for the excellent service my colleague and I received yesterday. As for the Chickpea Pesto.... As I got back to my car, I ate the much needed meal before I headed my way to what was next. I didn't realize that I was famished; I ended up devouring both the wrap and the burger in a matter of 15 minutes. And I was shocked as to how decent the chickpea pesto was. Well-marinated with overall light taste. Quite refreshing to say the least. Recess is mainly a young people's hangout place. Dog friendly where when we were in the restaurant the patio was filled with people with their adorable furry friends. Yesterday's pleasant temperature made the perfect opportunity for many to dine in outside under the sun. I shall definitely return to order me the same Chickpea dish. I hope to see it remain on it next time I go here.

Maybe we were just brave, but with blankets and the outdoor heaters the space served well for a small get together. The inside, however, was PACKED. Was it something in the air that influenced every young family West of Denver to crave local brews and fried food options? Or is this just the typical crowd for this establishment? Either way, I don't believe myself to be the target market for this location. After a few hours, the children's birthday party and other large family gatherings occupying the warm interiors finally disappeared, and we were able to enjoy all the splendors of their heated former firehouse. The staff who was wandering the facilities to take empty trays and glasses from tables were exceptionally nice, the food options were as plentiful as the variety on tap, and the patio's ambience was exactly what we needed.
