Alright, listen...if you're ever in Denver, hungry, and not sure what to do get yourself to Wild Corgi Pub. Trust me on this. We kicked things off with the Tater Kegs basically five mega tots stuffed with bacon, chive, and cheddar. They were insanely good. I could've easily taken down another order, but I knew what was coming next... the wings. These bad boys are smoked for 12 hours, then fried up and dunked in house made sauces that taste like they've been perfected over time. We went with Kicking Bourbon (sweet with a little heat) and Alabama White Sauce (creamy, tangy perfection). The blue cheese and ranch are homemade...you can actually taste the difference and the fries? Crispy, golden, and gone way too fast. To wash it down, I grabbed a local Kölsch on tap; icy cold, light, and spot-on with the wings. And the vibe? Perfect mix of chill and fun. The bartenders were super friendly, the music hit right, and the whole place just had that "local favorite" energy. Honestly, Wild Corgi Pub is one of those spots that doesn't try too hard it just nails it. Good food, good people, good beer. That's all you need. Stopped here based on a Yelp review and didn't really know much about the place other than we heard the food was excellent. So, this place is outstanding across the board. The two guys working the bar, Josh and Jake, are super friendly and made us feel like they've known us forever. That was awesome. Such a great neighborhood bar vibe. There's a great selection at the bar. I tried the seasonal porter and went so far to have another when I finished the first one. Josh and I talked about porter beers for a bit. The food selection is great and the food itself was awesome. No complaints. Great sized portions, the Cubano Sandwich exceeded my expectations, and we had the stuffed tater tots (tater kegs?) as an appetizer. Again, outstanding. As mentioned, even though it was our first time there we were made to feel like some of the regulars through conversation and the like. The crowd is eclectic. And, having lived in Chicago for a while, it was fun to do a shot of Malört with the bartenders and some of the other folks sitting at the bar. Go here. It's been a few years since I've visited Wild Corgi Pub. I was hanging out a few blocks away at another bar but decided to bring my partner here for dinner. We sat at the bar, where the bartender was friendly and attentive. The only other time I've been here was when there happened to be a drag performance and it was too loud to have a conversation. It was nice to have a chill, quiet evening and order fried pickles & wings. I got regular buffalo and Nashville hot to compare, but I think they ended up bringing me BBQ instead, which is a flavor I hate. The fried pickles were also too breaded. Overall it was a dissatisfactory meal, even though I talked up WCP to my partner. Will probably go elsewhere next time! read more

My return visit to Wild Corgi was terrific. Service was friendly and very attentive. Their Yappy Hour is a steal! There are plenty of beverage and food options to choose from. The fried green beans are a staff favorite and mine as well. I am not even a fan of green beans, but these are addictive. Add a little zest with their spicy corgi ranch, and it is a perfect snack. This place is super fun! Their yappy hour is definitely worth it. We split a couple of apps- all delicious bar food- and had a delicious corn dog. Definitely would go here again! Service was attentive and we even got a lesson in the bar's history. I hear there are lots of ghosts! Fun place and the memes that are scrolling on the TVs are excellent conversation pieces. Came here literally for corn dogs. The place was pretty empty when we showed up which was weird according to the folks working. They believe the weather getting warmer the day we got there being a reason. Either way we didn't mind. We took a seat, ordered drinks and food and enjoyed the end of our night. What a fun pub! Being corgi parents, we HAD to stop here during our September 2022 trip to Denver. Our only mistake was having a late lunch and not being hungry enough to eat more off their menu. We did enjoy some beer and cheese curds. Obvi loved the corgi decor and the TVs displaying corgi photos (hoping to get our Lily in the mix after we email the owner some pics). Wild Corgi has become my new, best place to hide out. They have so many activities going on it's hard not to find something to love about the WCP. Found the WCP by accident, was meeting up with a friend to do the Halloween Ghost tour and the WCP fit the bill as far as eating/drinking options in the meet up area. I'm so glad I found this place. The bar/waitstaff are friendly and fun. The overall atmosphere is a big younger, a bit loud and a bit divey ... just my kind of place. And how can you not love all the Corgi references? read more

I love all the dog references in there and it's kind of like a dive bar but not with dive bar prices haha I always try mozzarella cheese sticks whenever I go somewhere with them and these were pretty good!! I decided to try this restaurant after driving by a lot and then looking at the menu. The menu had tons of options for dinner. I ordered the cubano and it was decent. As far as cubans go, I have had better but it was still good. We also ordered some appetizers; wings, fried mac and cheese bites, mozz stick. They all just tasted like microwaved fried food. Nothing special as far as the wings go, I enjoyed the bbq and parm garlic wings and thought they were a good size. My friend who also ordered wings was disappointed there weren't really any spicey wing sauces. She ordered the mango habenero and still thought it was mild. The service was really great. Our server specifically was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was great for a dive bar. Sports on tv, trivia, dark inside, big old wooden bar. Came here for trivia and had a good time. Definitely request the front room otherwise you cant hear a word. Our waiter was awesome and the corn dogs were to die for! Will definitely come back. Food is good with many options. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Generally pretty clean inside and they have two gender neutral restrooms. No parking lot so it's off street parking only which is typical for capital hill businesses. It's lgbtq+ friendly but there is a mixture of straight folks as well. Definitely unique in its theme and experience but not very big inside. Seems to be a lot of regulars that come in so staff does rush quickly through the ordering process as I'm sure they assume someone already knows the place/menu so maybe review their online menu before hand. read more

YUMMY. What a delicious, cute, fun joint! I'm pretty new to the area but I love coming to Wild Corgi. The wing Wednesday is where it is at. You can get 20 wings for I believe less than $20 bucks. It's a great deal. The drinks are great, they also have a frozen margarita machine which isn't too shabby either. The service is always wonderful from the bartenders. Cute little pub that is within walking distance of my house. I've come here for drinks and food and both never disappoint. I've been here mainly for drinks, but I have had a couple to go meals and their Reuben on St. Paddy's day and it is pretty dang good. We attended one of the Drag Queen Brunches (first Sunday of every month) in October. Seating starts around 10 a.m.; the show begins at 11. I highly advise calling ahead for reservations, and getting there as early as you can. Also order your food as early as possible. They were down a couple of kitchen staff that day and the food took a really long time to come out. Bob ordered the Reuben and tater tots, while I selected a breakfast sandwich called The Matty Pants. Our friends ordered a breakfast burrito and chicken and waffles. They definitely have a diverse brunch menu. They serve $10 bottomless mimosas, and boy were they bottomless! We probably had way too many waiting for our food to arrive! We remember the food being pretty tasty, but honestly we were pretty intoxicated by that time. Every night is a different kind of a "special" night, including trivia nights, ladies nights, and run club events. The ambiance reminds me of a traditional British pub. However, on drag queen brunch Sunday, the vibe was very upbeat and entertaining! The drag show included performers of all-ages, with some pretty amazing young performers! My friends and I go out each Friday for dinner, drinks, and to unwind from our hectic weeks. We've been doing this for many years and had yet to have a bad experience.... until last night. The evening started out fun- the cocktails were interesting, cute names, and were a lot of fun! There were 6 of us and we were all having cocktails, appetizers, and meals. The first thing that happened was when my friend asked for a glass of water. Our server told her he was too busy but she could get it herself from a plastic cooler on the other side of the bar. ! Again, we were all having cocktails and food, we weren't just hanging out taking up space. In fact our bill came to $368.00. That kind of rubbed us the wrong way, but we went with the flow and got our own water. The next issue happened when I got home. I thought I had left my phone at the restaurant. Luckily I hadn't, but at the time I thought I had. My friend called for me to see if they had found it. They were extremely rude and pretty much told him they were too busy to deal with that. My friend got upset and asked for the manager and told them we just spent almost $400 there and they couldn't even be bothered to simply check to see if a phone was left? Finally, I went to divide the bill up so I could let everyone know how much their share is. Keep in mind I was home at this point, and already paid the bill. When adding it up the subtotal doesn't match if you add every line item up!!!! The subtotal on the receipt is $284.66 but when you add each item you get $277.66. It's only $7.00 which isn't much, but seems super shady. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but with everything else that happened I'm wondering if they are scamming everyone who goes there. I've attached the receipt here.
