Such a great little find for me combining coffee and beer which are two things i really enjoy. Unlike most taprooms in Denver which are tied to or owned by a specific brewer/group of brewers, Ephemeral is a rotating room (hence the name), but it means the selection is ever changing giving me a nice variety of beer to try while keeps some staples on hand. They also sell most of the beer they are pouring in cans incase you'd liek to take some home and enjoy it later. I am generally in here on Tuesday or Thursday nights early in the evening, at this time of the week it has a casual neighborhood vibe is not too busy. Ephemeral has great wifi, the service s prompt an knowledgeable. My typical visit is for about a 90 minutes while I catch up on work and have a beer or two in the process. If you are looking for a place for a relaxing beer or coffee with a friend or if like me you have to kill time while your kids are at a sports practice, this is a great option. read more

Neat spot to hang out! The parking is iffy in the area but the ambience inside is nice. They have fridges stocked with a good selection to-go beers and nice seating areas. It is very family friendly, as far as taprooms go. On a Sunday afternoon I estimated about 75% of the occupied tables had kids with them. When full, the place gets loud and hard to hear your friends unless you're sitting pretty close. This is a good spot to host a book club or just hang out (saw a family playing uno). read more

I had almost made it to this place many times in the past. I needed to kill some time before a nearby comedy show, and this one was recommended to me by a comedian whose opinion I trust. I popped in, and immediately fell in love with the tap list. Noah, the bartender, was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable on so many topics and I feel like I could've talked to him for hours. Finally visited Ephemeral and had a blast. The concept is really a beer snob's paradise, rapidly rotating through lots of different breweries from across the country. It's wonderful to see the variety they have on tap. The atmosphere is chill, too. Classic Denver, being dog-friendly with plenty of games and events to keep both regulars and newcomers entertained. It's overall a high quality spot with fantastic service. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and they even have a wall of staff picks to help you decide what to try. Like many places in Denver, I can't believe I live so close, but it's taken me so long to come here. I'm going to stay posted on their Instagram account and visit more often. Cheers! read more

This place is cute! Chill place for an excellent selection of beers. The Hooch Booch Lounge Lizard kombucha is light and flavorful. They have plenty of swag on sale and even have a small market using the building's old sign, "Ben's Super Market". Their 10oz glasses say, "Always time for a beer with friends." I agree! read more

The beer was really good and the service was fantastic. The interior is very clean (so are the restrooms), and the space is inviting. Enjoyed our first visit to Ephemeral Tap room- the vibe is nice and laid back and there's such a great selection of beverages to try! Also love that it is dog friendly and we got to see several cute pups while we were there. The staff was friendly- only downside for us was that the room was really warm for a nice relaxing happy hour. We ended up leaving earlier than intended to find a more comfortable place. I'm wondering if it was due to all the nice, big windows. We will be back for other visits, but will probably wait until a cooler time of year. read more

On a recent weekend trip to Denver, my husband and I discovered that our AirBnB was located above an amazing taproom. We were stoked! An old corner market, Ephemeral now serves up delicious rotating local beers on tap, as well as morning coffee, and a few grocery staples. While we were visiting they had a local brewery called Weldworks on tap and it BLEW. MY. MIND. I absolutely loved every single one of their beers I tried and they had an amazing variety to pick from. I loved it so much, we wanted to see if they shipped to CA (sadly not). Ephemeral has all the right vibes and I am envious of anyone who lives within the vicinity. Have been waiting patiently for this taproom to open. They are open from 7-10 and serve a small coffee menu in the morning and rotating beers on tap for the other hours of the day. This use to be an old supermarket hints the "Ben's supermarket" sign they kept and added a few local snacks to choose between. They have a really nice environment in here. You can lounge and have snacks with a friend or chill at the bar and drink some beer. They offer one tv which is where we watched the avs game. Owner Shannon is very sweet. This spot has the trappings of a local watering hole and a niche craft beer taproom. As a regular, I am treated to an incredible array of rotating beers from around the country. The staff are knowledgeable, polite, and so much fun. You're made to feel like part of the family. The interior is well done with a nod to the history of the building. It is my go-to bar.
