Cerebral Work From Home (left) Cerebral Working Vacation (right)

Good-looking local bar. Clean. Nice decor. Tons of beers on tap and for takeaway. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. Fantastic selection of barrel-aged, imperial porters and stouts. I tried two Cerebral porter d: Work From Home and Working Vacation. Work From Home was excellent. Smooth and rich. Hints of coffee, chocolate and maple. Working Vacation was only slight less excellent. Not quite as smooth and less sweet, with hints of coffee and chocolate. After those two, I tried the Reuben's Press BBIS (2021 Edition), barrel-aged imperial stout. I normally prefer barrel-aged imperial stouts. BBIS had nothing on Work From Home.

Chris took care of us and gave us some great recommendations. He was super friendly and greeted us with a big smile. This is a locals favorite for all the tap beers. The lady that owns this place is the welder and has come up with some very creative keg taps. Wednesday through Sunday they have a food truck see you actually can get something to eat there and they also have a rather large outdoor patio that looks really fun. One of my favorite parts was all of the newspaper magazine pictures on the bathroom wall, I love that. I WOULD go back, I think in the summer it would be really fun.

I was only in Denver for a few days for the Great American Beer Festival, so I didn't do a ton of exploring, but the one place that stood out to me was Jake's Brew Bar/Beer Garden. It's located in downtown Littleton, which was less than 3 miles from the house I was staying at in Englewood. It's currently owned and operated by Jake's daughter and granddaughter, and I spent my first evening there. Jake's features an impressive craft beer list, with most beers rating a 4 or higher on the Untappd beer app. On the night I visited there was a Sour Beer tap takeover, so I pretty much stuck with the sours, except for my last beer, which was a highly rated Russian Imperial Stout from the popular Weldwerks Brewery. There is a small snakc menu including chips with salsa, guac, or queso, and a pretzel. Brats are also available until they run out. It has a nostalgic charm about it, offers a sidewalk patio and a beer garden in back, but the beer selection and the staff are what made this place for me. The team of AJ and Kenzie made my first visit enjoyable, as did the friendly locals I conversed with. Littleton shuts down early, with most places closing by 10:00 or 11:00, so plan accordingly if you are thinking of a bite after beers. My friends stayed back at the airbnb to plan their strategy for the beer fest. My plan was to follow them around, so I was freed up to enjoy this visit to Jake's. I highly recommend Jake's, and I hope to return!

This place is amazing !!!! I went walking downtown Littleton and came across this gem . I tried a pumpkin blend I'm usually not a huge pumpkin fan but this was just enough !!! Awesome outdoor and indoor seating I'll deff be back in the future since I live very close by .

Welp - I think I've found my new favorite beer joint. This place was hopping - friendly staff - live music - quick service - awesome pictures on the wall. I think I'm in love. I recommend the beer "Deeze Nuts" - so good. Go enjoy a little hole in the wall bar in beautiful old Littleton. Cheers!

Came out from Philadelphia and visited with my parents…read more I forgot my ID and the waiter carded me and would not serve me without it. I am 34 years old with a 6 inch beard. The waiter did not card my parents (ageism) The waiter did not card other patrons that appeared to be maybe 40 years old. I understand by law the brewery should card every patron so I cannot be too upset I was not served. But it was annoying that the waiter did not ask other people for ID but demanded it from me. My biggest complaint is that on a Thursday and noon the location was out of 4-5 beers (all of the brews my Dad and I wanted to try. I understand I could not try draft on premises but even if I brought my ID they did not have anything I wanted to try) They only had the super mainstream beers available that I can get from my local grocery store. They were also out of all crowler cans....so we could not even take out one of those in any brew. (I have visited maybe 50 breweries and literally none of them have ever been "out of cans" before.) The beer to go offered again was only the mainstream beers you could get anywhere. When we asked why they were out of so many beers they said they had a busy weekend..... again I have been to many breweries and guarantee I have been to busier breweries and they never ran out of so much beer. Again we went on a Thursday, so the 'busy weekend' excuse is fairly ridiculous since they had 3-4 days to restock after said 'busy weekend' It would be one thing if this location only served beer but they also brew, produce, can and offer tours of the brewery at this location. I cannot imagine such poor business practices that a location like this would run out of half the beers they offer during the weekend and not bother to replenish or restock any of them before Thursday (4 days later) The Mac and cheese I ordered was p good.. The location was nice and clean with a cool cabin environment. The waiter was nice enough but also fairly slow with service. It took maybe 25 minutes to learn they were out of all the beers we were interested in. We would ask for one, he would waddle over to the bar, eventually come back and say they are out of that one. We would ask for another. Repeat 4-5 times. The waiter did not specify when we sat down that they were out of any beers and did not say them all at once. The waiter also did not provide us with the daily specials. But we could hear this being present the 3 parties who came in after us with those specials. On the way out I asked the guy at the front store why they were out of so many beers and crowlers. He just stared blankly past me like he smoked 5 joints before work and never provided me an answer. Overall the visit was very disappointing. I can easily get over the fact I couldn't drink because my mistake leaving my ID at home, but the fact they were out of 5 beers, the waiter's lack of initiative to inform us of what was unavailable, repeated trips to the bar without saying what was out, waiter's lack of initiative to inform us of the specials, age discrimination by not carding all patrons (which is illegal) and being out of crowler cans made the trip not worth my time and extremely disappointing. I will not be returning. My parents who for the last 3-5 years have had a yearly club gathering at the location with 30-50 patrons will not be returning. The visit made me disappointed.

We were welcomed and our beertender answered our questions. I had to look over their dark beers. I got the "A Stout by St. James" on nitro. A dry Irish stout with the lovely waterfall from the nitro was placed in front of me. All my favorite qualities with a nice dark chocolate bitter at the end. My husband had "All the Hop Things" IPA, a DDH with Citra, Eureka, Idaho 7 and Eldorado. He was a happy camper. We even had the opportunity to chat with James, himself. They have a nice amount of seating both inside and out. There is even a small seating area out the back door of the space as well. I noticed lots of fun activities on their calendar. It has a real welcoming vibe.

We arrived a few minutes after opening time on a Sunday, confirmed that our dog was welcome both inside and on the front patio and rear beer garden, and got a spot in the sunshine out front. It was very quiet when we arrived, but customers began to arrive pretty quickly, and soon the patio was full of happy human and canine customers, and several inside tables were taken. The very pleasant beertender answered my questions about the establishment and the beer. We ordered a pizza and a meatball sub from Walter's a couple of doors away, and were pretty wowed by the quality of both. We were impressed that most if not all of the beers they make here are gluten-free (we aren't gluten intolerant, but it's good to see that they take all customers' needs into account). It's quite unusual to see Delirium Tremens beer from Brouwerij Huyghe in Belgium on the beer menu - I haven't had it in years and may well order one the next time I go. There's a shelf full of games if you care to play one, and they have events in the evenings, including Magic: The Gathering on the second Monday of each month. We'll try to get our sons and their partners to join us for an evening of Magic here some time.

Regularly food trucks, I believe daily but I cannot say 100% for sure at the time of this review from memory. Great service and hospitality. Usually one or two bartenders working but they do a great job circulating and seeing how everything is. The most unique part of this brewery is the attached dog park. I happened to show up on trivia night, which explained why the place was buzzing with energy and packed full of people. One of the biggest standouts here is how dog-friendly it is. The massive dog park/run in front doubles as their outdoor patio, so while your pup is making new friends, you can sip on a pint and do the same. Inside, there's plenty of seating and a fun setup with arcade games and activities to keep both adults and kids entertained for hours. On top of that, I lucked out with one of my favorite food trucks, Rustic Nomads, parked out front serving up some killer eats -- the perfect pairing with a cold beer. Overall, a great brewery with a variety of beers to choose from, a welcoming vibe, and one of the best setups in the area if you're a dog owner. Definitely worth the stop!
