I ordered a delivery of 2 wine bottles and a case of smironoffs today just for them to waste 2 hours of my time. The worker called me to verify products, and then when the order didn't come within the first hour, I called the store back and was told the delivery driver was on the way. Another hour later...the store is closed, driver no where to be seen, my order still hadn't arrived and no one was answering my calls. What a total scam, stealing people's money, making false promises of a delivery, just to dodge calls and close for the day. Finally got to cancel my order 3 hrs later after I placed it but didnt get the products I needed for a girls night while on vacation here in Denver, and also had 3 hrs of my time wasted. I ordered it for convience to save time and it ended up being the biggest time waster of my life. I don't know that this place could be more of a hidden gem if they tried. There's no windows, an unnoticeable sign, no flashy lights. Just a few thousand square feet of craft beer, bombers, wine, and liquor. They even have a point system - $1/1pt - 200pts gets you $10 off your purchase. Really disappointed in the staff here. I use to love this place but with the Covid19 outbreak their staff should be wearing masks and distancing. None of those that I could see was wearing a mask and they were gathered together not even 1 foot apart just laughing and joking. I had to walk around a couple of other isles just to avoid them. Then the guy that checked me out was also not wearing a mask and there's no barrier. Feel free to go here if you're good putting your life at risk. read more

Did I mention yet about 100 times in my reviews that I went to Burning Man? Oh don't worry, I will. I was shopping for some liquor to take to Burning Man and for whatever jacked up reason I thought it would be funny to drink Tequila and Tang while I was there. I also knew that there was a no-glass rule in place, and I thought if I had a chance in hell of finding a decent Tequila in a plastic bottle that I should start with a liquor store in the ghetto. And why not start with a liquor warehouse in the ghetto? Done. I wasn't that impressed with the place. It was big, but the floor plan was very open and everything was very far apart. They had a lot of quantity, but it was lots of the same things over and over. I never found a bottle of Tequila in a plastic bottle but I did find a nice bottle of really crappy rum in a plastic bottle. The plastic bottle was what made it nice. I ended up not cracking open either the rum or the tequila for the whole trip but it's better to have it and not need it than the other way around. So this liquor store didn't really have what I needed, but I also didn't need what I thought I needed. Either way, it's not my favorite stop so I most likely won't be back in for a while. read more

Once again this place has an item listed at one price on the shelves but then it's attempted to be rung up higher at the register. This has happened so many times that I now refuse to shop here. I reached out to the manager the last time it happened (2018) and I was told it was random and was given an apology. So, three years passed since the last incident (the last time in 2018 was probably the 5th time) and once again, today, three years later, the item was $4 more at the register than listed on the shelf, which then had to be corrected. A lot of people would rather eat it than make a scene or slow the line. Im not one of those people. They either believe that their clientel don't care about a few bucks here and a few bucks there, or are purposefully negligent. read more

There are way too many liquor stores in this town. One on every block, often two. They all look the same, feel the same, sell the same. But there are a handful in town that are just...different. This isn't QUITE one of the top dogs (Argonaut, Applejack,, etc.), but it is a solid place indeed. They have the basic requirements I look for in a liquor store such as local items, easy-to-spot sales, and a good staff that actually knows their product. But they also have tastings where their staff is performing them under the watchful eye of a local brewer. This lets them learn the beers as they sell them. I like that a lot. Sale prices, clean store, and a good variety of local beers at non-insane prices. The location is a bit weird and off the path, but worth the extra 60 seconds TOPS that it takes to get in and out. Probably the best store this side of town. read more

I love this liquor store! They almost always have the best prices in town (I'm not talking about pennies... I'm talking about like $7 cheaper for a bottle of vodka. You can't beat that!). I prefer to drink gluten free beers and they have a pretty nice selection; even some of the more rare brands you can't find in most places. They also have a wide-selection of wines and their staff are great about providing recommendations. They offer a case-discount for beers as well (The only issue I've had here is they often forget to apply the discount so you have to remind them). ok i've utilized this establishment over the last couple years for the convenience factor and last year it seemed like it was closing with no stock so i stopped going. a few months ago i saw a sign as i drove down Hampden that it was under new management. well it was worth a look and they have stocked it with decent stock, prices are reasonable Wine selection is fair and you can get the IPA's and specialty beers that coloradans seem to love so i would say that new management has brought this once popular place back from the dead. the staff is knowledgeable and friendly all in all its a good place to get your weekend wobbly pops read more

Kim was super helpful. We had a huge order to put together for a wedding, and I know nothing about alcohol. She walked us around the whole store, helped us put together good selections from our list, signed us up for the rewards program and found us deals. This was a month before we actually needed the alcohol, we were just looking around at prices. So she made up an order and had it all ready for pickup on the day we needed it, and even rain checked the prices for us.
