Bad service. Rude employees. I would never buy from them again. Besides there is no Logan that works there.

Conveniently located, well stocked little pricey. This store looks like it's been around for quite a while. The gentleman working was very helpful and friendly. read more

Quick and easy service. Great spot. These one star reviews crack me up.. it's a liquor store people; you're not going there for fantastic service. These people deal with drunk people all day- give them a break. read more

Everything But Lotto Logan Liquors is a cool little store with plenty of liquor. You can find just about any libation you're looking for, but you won't find any lottery. Darnit! I don't know...I like all of my vices in one convenient location. The people behind the counter are really kind and helpful. You can't ask for more than that.....except for lottery tickets. ;-] read more

Logan Liquors - a car parked in front of a liquor shop - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Best wine advice ! This is the only place I get my wines. Lots of good cold beer too

Family owned liquor store in their 3rd generation of family running it. They offer a great selection of wine, beer and liquor. The store is not very big which allows the customer service to be far better than the warehouse sized stores. The pricing is very fair. Logan offers a drive through window for those who know what they want. Just a few blocks north of Alameda this is a great neighborhood store. Small parking lot read more

terribly rude customer service, made us feel like we were inconveniencing them just walking into the store. I live very close by and will never be back. read more

Agree with Carly B. It's a 5 minute walk from my place here so for a quick alcohol run it's fine. Prices are pretty steep (to be expected for a smaller shop), but I did find a wine that I like at a pretty decent price. Employees aren't the nicest (again, I don't really need assistance or help), but a smile wouldn't hurt either. Overall, this place really is A-OK. read more

terrible service. one of the workers I encounter nearly every time, Steve, is always extremely rude & disrespectful. 0/10.

If I could give no stars I would. Don't come here unless you want your card or cash snatched out your hands from the old guy every single time you go to pay. A shame I've been coming here for years but the workers and service has become horrible. read more

I love this place. We visit probably once a week to check out their rare selections. Transactions are always fast and the service is always delightful. Someone is always there to ask if we need anything or to help us with any type of question we may have. These guys are knowledgable and I really appreciate that. I normally go in for the gin selection and to see what wines they have available - they have a huge wine collection. read more

We love this neighborhood liquor store. The drive up window has been a huge help during social distancing and every person who works there has been super friendly and helpful. They have a pretty good selection for whatever you happen to be looking for at decent prices. Its almost too convenient! read more

I have been shopping at Logan for over 20years. I love Lori and family. They have always had an amazing craft beer selection, good wines a decent liquor selection. They have always been my neighborhood go to. And they have a drive up window. read more

I honestly don't understand the reviews saying people that work there are rude. They're nothing but accommodating and nice. I'm sure the problem isn't that they're rude, it's you're selfish and clearly have been told that you're more special than you are your entire life so you think the whole world caters to you Best. Liquor Store. Ever. They even have a drive thru window Do not listen to the other reviews read more

I am with David T. For years and years and years I was buying beers, beers, beers from here. But no more. Nope, I will drive to Argonaut or get warm beer at Sam's first. The staff borders on hostile, downright rude, the prices are not anywhere near reasonable. I would be willing to pay more if they even halfway acknowledged years of my beer money. If you want a free sneer with your overpriced beer, then get your butt in here. read more

Just moved to the area and decided to walk over for a bottle of wine at 10:45pm They close at 11:00. The door was locked. Some rude little boy opened the door and asked if we had cash. Before I could even say no he said "if you dont have cash you can't come in" and slammed the door in my face!!! I was appalled at the rude behavior at a time they should be open. This was my first experience at this store... and my last. What a sad joke of a place. Sad considering there are numerous neighborhood places you can go in the area for wine AND friendly service. Being a manager in my profession, if I discovered one of my employees ever did something like this, they would have been fired immediately. Get a clue and realize you have a diverse group of people in your neighborhood and to treat anyone willing to spend money like this is downright classless. I will continue to shop at country club liquors a few blocks away where they have always been curteous and friendly. read more

I am new to Wash Park West, and Logan liquors in close by. I stopped on a Friday, bought some wine, and it was vinegar like. Stopped by the next day and bought a new bottle, and asked if I could return the bad one for an exchange. Yes, he said, but we really don't take returns. Why, I asked, knowing they could get their money back from the distributor. Policy, but they would do an exchange seeing the product I bought was bad. Okay, I'm fine with that. Told him I'd be in tomorrow. Brought the wine in the next day (Sunday), and the clerk said he could not let me exchange it without the owner's approval, and they don't work on Sunday. Really? Why? Let's just say, I will exchange the wine, and will find another neighborhood liquor store to frequent. read more

Great liquor store. It feels a little divey inside (really, what liquor store doesn't?), but the staff a very friendly and helpful. Great selection of beer (including a lot of Belgians and imports - score!), and a pretty decent selection of wine. Keep in mind that the wine is under fluorescent lighting all day, so try and select something that's down toward the bottom. They're well-stocked on liquors, and they have a decent selection of mixers, too. All of the prices are pretty reasonable. Pro tip: Logan Liquors has a DRIVE-THRU, peeps! read more

Just your average liquor store. Great options for craft and cider beers. Helpful staff.

I'm going to go ahead and be the sole "middle of the road" person with regard to this liquor store. It's now our closest place to run over and grab beer and mojito makings and whatnot. It's completely uncreepy and all of the employees are really friendly. They allow dogs inside (and have treats). They have a drive-up window and are on the right side of the road so that I could effortlessly pull through for six pack after work, should the occasion arise. They also have a good selection of beer with all of my favorites in stock (Great Divide and Odells, mainly). The big downside is the prices which is to be expected in a smaller place. $9.49 a six pack for my favorite beer is pretty steep. Also, sometimes their prices aren't posted. I've blindly purchased a bottle of Bacardi before and that scares me. But all in all, not a bad little place. read more

It's odd to see such a vast difference among the various reviews. People either seem to LOVE this place or HATE it...but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of between. Me, I like the place. The owners are super friendly, they know my name, my kid's name (always sends me home with a lollipop for her), even my dogs' names (I leave with bones for them). And it's not like I'm some top-of-the-line Cadillac customer either; I don't spend a whole hell of a lot of money there. Maybe it's my loyalty; maybe it's that I'M friendly FIRST. I don't know. They DO have a really neat selection of wine and beer and liquor so I'm not too sure what people are bitching about in that area. ANd yeah, this is a small neighborhood store; this isn't Liquor Mart or Argonaut. So you know, it can feel a little divey, a little smelly, and getting around the store can sometimes be tricky -- the aisles are narrow my elbows are pointy... But we'll still continue to support Logan: Good variety, decent pricing, small business owner. read more

This has been my go-to booze stop ever since I've been living in the Wash Park area. This is a family owned place, and they are all very friendly. If you are cheap like me, you will particularly like the ability to buy a cut in half and duct taped up twelve pack when you just need a few or don't have room in the fridge (but really isn't there always room for booze?... just throw out those five expired BBQ sauces in there!) On the flip side, they have a very decent wine selection and some specialty beers in the back room so ask if you don't see what you're looking for. So stop in to Logan Liquors for a treat for yourself , your loved one(s), and even your four legged friend. And I don't mean giving your dog alcohol you sick-o, I mean that they have dog treats too. read more

A liquor store with a drive up window? Now that's innovative! Well, maybe not but still clever. While I don't drive, I think that is a great idea. The staff are super friendly and way knowledgeable. Where else can I go that people know what Spotted Cow is? This is the first place someone knew what I was talking about in Denver. So you know, Spotted Cow is a Wisconsin micro brew that can't be sold outside the state, or something like that. It reminds me of Goose Island in Chicago, can't find it anywhere outside of the Midwest, which is unfortunate. The selection here is great! They have something for every price range. A fair amount of regulars seem to frequent this place as the staff knows a lot of people by first name. Maybe I'm partial to this place because it's right in the neighborhood, walking distance too, but I find myself going here for my frosty beverage needs quite a lot! Who knows, they might even learn my name by the end of the summer. Cheers! read more

I have been going to Logan Liquors for years. Ever since the elderly gentleman has been gone, the service has been marginal. Today was the last straw! I pulled up to thhe drive through window and no one came. After about five minutes I honked. Still no one came. I honked and the owner ("Wine Lady") came to the window. No apologies; she just said, "What do you want". I told her and I heard her call to someone. No one brought the wine that I asked for a so I just drove away. I will never go back there again. Apparently they have no clue what customer service is or they just don't care! read more

Luckily there are a couple people working there who are super nice and I've been seeing them in there more and more lately. I have sworn off this place 3 times because of rude guys who'd rather talk to their buddies (or the pretty girls) than be nice to all the norms who come in regularly to buy stuff. I can't believe the behavior they get away with in that place. Like I said, things have improved in recent months and I hope they continue to. It's usually pretty busy so I have never been able to take advantage of any staff recommendations, as described in another comment. I try to remember to bring cash because the credit card machine is slow and, like I said, it's usually pretty busy with two cash registers and the drive thru window. read more

Small, a bit rundown but what I would expect from a local joint. I went early in the morning - right when they opened and they were really friendly. They helped me pick out a bottle of wine and threw in some complimentary ice and even lifted the cooler into my car for me. The pricing is higher but again it is a neighborhood joint and I like supporting the locals. Good for when you want to grab something quick. read more

What can I say? It's on my block, they have a bucket of 97¢ mini-bottles, a wonderful selection of wine, a wonderful selection of wine under ten dollars, a wonderful selection of beer, gluten free beer, smokes if you need 'em, limes, mixers, salt, grenadine, and even olives. The prices are very fair. AND they have a drive thru window. I'm making myself very thirsty!! read more

See all

They're on the way home so I shop there often. One day, found a flier on the counter requesting I call my state legislator to oppose convenience stores and grocery stores selling hi point beer and liquor. The sign on the cash register said, "We will be closed on Sundays." It's completely representive of the attitude of this establishment, "We have a license and are entitled to your business." Why when I walk into the store does everyone look like they just got off a Greatful Dead bus. Not knocking the Dead. Why not someone who says, "Hello." Sincerely want you to succeed. Will continue to spend my money in your store. Wake up. We read more

I love this place. Amazing selection of beer, easily over 100, and an impressive wine selection. They have high end wine in the back too - so ask an employee if you can't find what you're looking for. The staff are all very friendly. If I'm not sure what to get, I ask and always get a good recommendation. The store manager stays on top of the newest releases and trends, so unless you're looking for some micro brew from Uzbekistan, they'll probably have what you're looking for (or they'll order it for you if they can). I'd much prefer to shop with a local store like this than Argonaut or some chain - it's a family run place, they've been there for over 30 years. Support small business! + drive through + great selection + friendly staff + family owned + BEER! read more

Love, love, love the drive-through! The owners are sweet and the employees are cool. Okay, so the prices aren't the best... but they're definitely competitive with all of the other smaller stores in the area. read more

The drive up window and their policy of allowing you to bring your dog in are nice pluses, but these guys are always so rude - I've been going to this liquor store for well over a decade, on and off, and it's always the same angsty staff who act as if you're an inconvenience. Not going back again. read more

I'm perplexed reading over the reviews that say the service here sucks. If there was ever a customer who deserved shitty service in this liquor store, it's me. I always bring my giant dog in, and she jumps up on the counter, and almost knocks over towers of wine regularly. In addition, I've been known to make cell phone calls from inside the store, which annoys me and I'm the one doing it. I've never had surly service, and the staff has always been helpful. The prices don't seem high for me, but then again I'm not buying piss beer. One amusing feature is that you can often witness the owner (or manager) telling the staff not to wear their hats while working. Guess what no one gives a shit about? Liquor store employees wearing hats. read more

What a dump....the selection is ok but the staff is so RUDE!!! They are alway eating something right at the counter. I don't know about you, but I don't want their nasty food hands touching anything I'm purchasing. They yelled at me for making two purchases.....said it cost $ to run my card each time. And that wasn't the first time. And don't change your mind on anything you are purchasing, they said the owner doesn't like canceled transactions and that she asked to many questions about it. What a bunch of idiots working there. To sum it up.....Terrible customer service, store needs a facelift, new staff and come on.....get real computers. I will not be shopping there ever again. I've had enough of the rude idiots that work there. Bad for business. Sucks that I have to even give one star read more

Very nice people. I had called to inquire about a certain product, and they pulled it aside for me as there was only one left. Would return there if in that area again. read more

You know... I wish I could give this store a 5star review because I love their location, the selection and bonus drive thru, And if it wasn't for one person behind the counter I think I would regular more. I have always worked in restaurants/customer service and know the importance of attention and acknowledgement of your customers. That being said I can count on more than two hands the times I've walked through the door and been faced with being ignored, no eye contact, short, uninterested, irritated employee, this included the drive thru. I even stood at the counter one night counting how long it would take for the guy on his cellphone to notice me... He was facing me so I knew he saw me but chose to make me wait, it was about 5 minutes later when another employee waved him down. Bummer guys...it's always the same guy! Dude, you have a JOB! read more

I really like Logan Liquors. They're small, so of course they don't have a huge selection, but they carry enough of everything that I can always find a good microbrew or bottle of Portuguese wine if I'm in the mood. Last time I was in the owner/manager(?) gave a kid who was there with his parents a free can of soda, then offered my kid a lollypop. And they always have dog biscuits, so my dog goes crazy when we go by. The employees are nice (who cares if they drink PBR or are hippies/hipsters/don't shower? I'm not drinking with them, I'm buying booze from them). And while I want grocery stores to sell booze purely because I want Trader Joe's to come to Denver, I understand why Logan Liquors doesn't want that: it'll put small, local stores out of business. read more

I've gone here a handful of times now, and every time I go the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a pretty good selection and reasonable prices too. read more

I stopped by the other night and was suprised by the rudeness of the staff. While they were talking amongst themselves from behind the counter, one of them belched loudly enough for the whole store to hear. Then, with customers in the store, another employee said to one of his coworkers "Everyone should get the fuck out." Again, this was loud enough for customers in the store to hear. While this place is close to where I live, it's dirty and expensive. Good customer service might have overcome those negatives, but customer service does not appear to be a priority here. I'll be going to elsewhere in the future. read more

Logan Liquor is close to me and is convenient with a good beer selection. Which is unfortunate that I have to deal with their lack of customer service and outright rudeness. "what else for you" is what I was asked when I already had a total of $100 (owners). No hello or thank you, did you find everything okay; just give me more money out of your wallet. Sometimes it seems like I am hassling them by purchasing something; god forbid I give you money in order to keep your doors open. Let's face it, booze sells itself. Friendly service and good people; yet alone appreciation for spending money in their store means a lot to me and they need a lot of work in that department. With all this said I choose to go FAR out of my way in order to get such things. read more

I am happy to report that I did not hate Logan Liquors as so many before me have. In fact I liked it, which is great because it's one of the closest liquor stores to my house. Except the one on Broadway between First and Second but that one always looks really kinda gross. So this place is cool and they had a small but (to me) awesome wine selection. I was hoping they'd have Evolution, but I figured they wouldn't. And they totally did! And it wasn't much more expensive than anywhere else I'd seen it. Also the guy who rung me up was very nice. Thumbs up! I will definitely be back when I need booze. read more
