Though I live closer to the TJ's in Cap Hill, I go to this one because it's bigger and they have the entire, separate liquor store. There's no better deal on liquor that I've found (this would be referring to TJ's private label brand) than Trader Joe's, not even Argonaut! They are usually decently stocked here with products and it has a big parking lot, so I don't have too much of a problem. I think once in a super rushed hour of the day, I had to circle around to find parking. There are certain favorites I have to load up on when coming here every month or two. The garlic & onion pistachios, and palak paneer are a couple of those stock up items! If going to the AMC or something, it's close by to run those grocery errands before heading home, if not too late, they close on the earlier side, at 9pm. read more

CHAOTIC!!! Okay, I was definitely warned about going to this location before I came, but I decided to take the chance anyway because it was the closest location to where I was at the time. YIKES! The store itself was fine - didn't have some of the "standard" TJ's items that I was looking for (like the soup dumplings), but the rest of it was pretty average. The staff was friendly and helpful, as usual. The logistics outside though are a MESS! The parking lot situation is weird and a bit ridiculous, AND there's no convenient way to get into this TJ's unless you're making a right into it from the same side of the street. If you're having to cross Colorado Blvd, you're going to have a bad time! I don't care what time of day it is! I certainly won't be back, just for the sake of the logistics giving me a bit of anxiety. I'll spend the extra 5-10 minutes on the drive to go to another location that is a bit more convenient. read more

I would go far as to say this is my favorite tj in Denver. They almost always have what I am looking for whether it's Taiwanese scallion pancakes or a Tunisian hot sauce. To date this location has yet to let me down. The service is quite friendly for a grocery store and the staff is well trained. The only downside is parking but I think I can overcome walking a little further to the car considering all the positives. read more

This Trader Joe's is awesome! I come here every time I am in need of some quality produce, the latest TikTok trend snack, and/or some 2 buck Chuck (there is alcohol at this location). A big, big reason why I also go out of my way to come to this location is because of the employees. There are some awesome folk that work here. Specific shout out to Aidan who went to the back to look for an item that was not on the shelf. Thank you! If you visit there, I highly recommend getting the ghost pepper chips and lamb vindaloo! The only downfall I can think of for this location is that parking is limited and the parking lot is a bit cramped as well. Big trucks will likely experience some trouble in this lot! read more

Ended up getting additional holiday items: peppermint baking chips, peppermint cookie, pumpkin cookie, etc. The people who worked at Trader Joe's were friendly and knowledgeable and quickly processed me through the checkout area. The store is clean and well-stocked. I've been a long time shopper at various Trader Joe's. I went a little crazy at Trader Joe's! I just kept grabbing and grabbing, the choices of flowers were endless. We arrived a little before 11 AM and the flowers were fully stocked. I was eloping in Grand Lake, CO and after months of research, I decided to buy my flowers from TJs and make my own bouquet. I asked the customer service desk if I could have some buckets since we were traveling a few hours into the mountains and they were happy to do so. Even when at the register, without buckets, 4 separate employees asked if we needed buckets. They were unaware someone was already in transit to get some. When I asked her how she made the assumption that my dog wasn't a service animal, she became defensive and rude. Instead of making it a big deal, I decided to leave store. I forget how much I love Trader Joe's. I haven't visited in a while and the Chicken Tikka Masala Samosa cravings were too real. So decided to pop in. As promised, nothing changed. Aside from moving around the location of products every now and again, you can always expect consistency. I really appreciate that about Trader Joe's. This particular location is nice. The parking lot is a bit tricky but that's small potatoes because there is always a spot opening or already opened. The checkout stand is moving at a decent enough rate that people are leaving in a timely manner. Of course the snack selections are on point. The meat is a bit pricey. I must've actually always found it to be pricey because the prices don't really change. Also, don't come here when you're looking for same day avocados because they're never ready. Nothing personal about this particular store but I'm pretty much over TJ's. Their customer service is not what it once was. I asked a guy on the floor what happened to X product and he just kept telling me they don't carry that item even after I made it super clear (and yes I was nice) that they absolutely did because I bought it for years every time I came and I saw it last a few months prior. Normally the person would make an effort to look it up in their system to let the customer know what was going on but not this guy. He just went back to facing the aisle. So I asked someone else and it was confirmed they're having supplier issues with this product. Which brings me to this... like 75% of my staples have been discontinued or they lost their supplier for them. This has been happening for years but gets worse with each visit. I remember when TJ's would get almost 5 stars from Yelp and now they're all around 4 stars, so it's not just me. read more

I lived in California for a decade, so I love my Trader Joe's. I like this location, however, there just aren't enough stores open here in Colorado yet. In particular, I visit to stock up on fresh produce, nuts and seeds, and organic wines. (My son loves their cheese puffs and mini ice cream cones!) They have a wonderful array of allergy friendly foods, which are reasonably priced too. I just wish they didn't use so many bad oils and ingredients like carrageenan in their processed items. TJ's staff are always cheery and helpful too, but this place gets busy. Please open a store closer to DIA! read more

Believe it or not, but I've never been to Trader Joe's. My mother and sister have gone several times (before COVID) and have always said they've had great experiences! When we arrived we had to wait in line to enter the store. They also marked spots on the ground for social distancing (6 feet). The employees handed us a clean cart and allowed individuals or groups to enter. The store was so big and nicely organized! I was able to find when I was looking for and more. I got some chicken dumplings, pesto filled tortellini's, and White corn tortilla chips. Everything was reasonably priced. The store also had places to wait in line for check out. When you get to the register they employees had glass windows between to help keep them safe. They bagged the items and then handed you the cart! It's great to see how this business adapted to COVID. My biggest complaint about this store is they allow dogs (not service dogs but pets) not only inside the store but in the shopping carts that the next person is going to put food into. I have said something to management and was told they will not ask someone about their dog and assume all dogs inside are service dogs - even if they a not behaving as such. A yapping purse size dog in a shopping cart is a pet, not a service dog. A larger dog pulling and sniffing other shoppers and low shelved food is not a service dog. They may not be able to ask about the person's disability but the law does allow you to ask if the dog is a service dog because of a disability (and you can ask what service the dog provides). If Trader Joe's policy doesn't allow this then in Colorado, you will see everyone bring their dogs inside. This isn't a hardware store; it's a FOOD store and non service dogs should not be allowed inside and in shopping carts read more

I have started to really become disillusioned with TJ's. Especially the produce. On Sunday I bought asparagus, green beans and spinach - all in bags. The spinach was used on Monday and was great. On Wednesday I went to make the asparagus and it was terrible. They were either so thin that they aren't edible, or the crowns we all rotten - which has happened before. So I threw them away and went for the beans. Teh entire bag was covered in a film from some of the beans starting to dissolve/rot. I got less than 1/3 of the bag that was useable. So I have wasted money ... again. I hate to admit it but I'm going from a time where Trader Joes has been my only store, to one where I only am going to go there for very specific items and will have to purchase produce elsewhere. read more

Can't go wrong with Trader Joe's. They have great selections, and the parking is easy when you go mid day on a Friday.

This Trader Joe's is really a wonderful neighborhood store. They even have a liquor store side, where there are amazing deals to be found. The parking and crowds can be brutal so go during off hours if you can - middle of the day on weekdays or later in the evening on a weekend. They have had a pretty good system of limiting capacity during Covid. The last week I haven't seen any lines, so I'm not sure if they are still counting people in the store but it wasn't very crowded, either way. There are some wonderful finds and unique products around the store. Just know if you find something you like, you may have to stock up, since products are frequently discontinued. Staff are always friendly but if you are looking for something specific, they struggle with keeping up to date on the current inventory. You may have to look harder for yourself. It's a great place to shop if you live around the neighborhood! I'm lucky to be able to walk here but I would limit my visits if I had to park. read more

This was my first TJ's experience during COVID. If you get nothing else from this review, please do note that they're taking all the necessary precautions for shoppers as required by the state government. That includes limiting the number of customers at one time, requiring face masks, washing down shopping carts, asking everyone to maintain a safe distance in and outside the store. It was the safest I've felt going grocery shopping in several months. That being said, it's still a Trader Joe's, which means insanity takes over as soon as one enters the parking lot. People simply lose their minds at the idea of cookie butter and sparkling water, I guess? So the extra precautions are so appreciated since the general public can't be trusted to keep it together. Note that the next door liquor store was relatively quiet! So if you do want to sneak over there after you've purchased groceries, treat yourself to a bottle of wine/vodka/whiskey/whatever adult beverage calms you down after a stressful outing. read more

The best! Alcohol right next door. Eclectic and CHEAP selection of wines. It's my go-to spot for cheap wine. $50 can get you anywhere from 3-8 bottles depending on your mood. Liquor selection is small as is the beer selection. This shop really caters to wine. The grocery side is always stocked and fully staffed. I never have to look far or wait long if I have a question. The same formula for this multi-stores in Multi-states franchise is repeated from store to store. One thing that separates Trader Joe's from the large grocery store chains is that there are lots of employees on the floor who can assist you with your questions and help you locate items. They are well-trained and are friendly as are the cashiers. There is no attempt being made by the chain to eliminate employees and replace them with lots of self service computers at checkout. What a plus! You can't do all of your shopping at a Trader Joe's but the shopping you can do will be pleasant and for many of the items, affordable. read more

I've been to Trader's in Las Vegas and California and this store by far the largest, most spacious aisles with hardly any waiting, but I am going on a weekday, and after Christmas, too. I was going to give this location four stars for being out of items on my shopping list, but the super nice friendly people working there were nice enough to make sure I didn't leave empty handed. Everyone, from the floor clerks to the cashiers, were very nice. We need more Trader's like this! read more

Wow, all the employees seem to be hired for their rudeness and I know they're doing what they can during Covid but step one inch over the 6 foot space and you get major attitude from them. And yes, I actually do need a paper bag when I have a grocery cart with food and I'm not carrying my own bag. Why does this give you reason to be rude to me? "Oh! You need a bag!?" Huh? Yes, actually I would like one thanks. Oh and when I asked politely if could go through the glass door to get wine I was yelled at No!!! YOU CAN NOT!!! And the guy basically shoved me aside. So is it worth it? Nahhh not with all the rude employees. I've gone to TJs for years and I do think this one is probably the worst. Bummer. read more

We all know Trader Joe's is super busy. So go when during the off hours (late or first thing) to alleviate some of that. Great store and team. The parking lot can be tricky to navigate depending on how busy things are. They are strict and consistent about their COVID safety requirements to keep all people safe so expect to stay outside for a long time waiting for your turn to enter and bring a mask. I love this TJs at around 10:30am on a weekday. Less shoppers, no lines. It is also my local TJs so I make frequent stops here and have seen how busy it gets! Everything is always organized in here and fully stocked. The staff is always friendly. My cashier was dancing while ringing up my food items. It's in a nice location, but I feel like this particular one has little options compared to what I see on social media. My partner is always looking for certain items and she becomes disappointed because they never have those items. Every time we've gone they have the same stuff, never anything new. I can't complain too much since it is Trader Joe's and at least it's different than all the other grocers. read more
