Came here to pick up the flowers for my cousins wedding in Hartsel! The place smells delightful upon entering! The staff is meh but overall their work outweighed their lack of customer service skills. When we came in there literally was only us and one other person and we waited over 30 minutes to get help... when I say help I mean not even a greeting came our way. I found that so odd seeing as there were like 4 employees present 2 on the phone taking orders and 2 putting them together. I would think the two who weren't on the phone would say hello we will be with you shortly or something butttttt nope. Honestly the flowers were so beautiful and they wrapped them once I asked which I appreciated very much. They also gave us directions on how to keep them fresh until the next day and they totally lasted! Great flowers that were beautiful but poor customer service at least in person. Worst experience I have ever had with a flower company. My mother had just passed and someone who was nice enough to think of me ordered me some beautiful flowers from Lehrer's. On Friday, March 6th Chris who I guess delivers for Lehrer's decided to deliver the flowers in a snow storm with the temperature at 28 degrees on my porch. Now in the past when a neighbor has received flowers usually the flower delivery person walks to a neighbors house to see if they could leave the flowers with them and then leave a note where the flowers were delivered. Or just take them back to store and contact the recipient . Well Chris was obviously too good to do that so he just left on porch. So unprofessional and chris should lose his job. Not sure where chris is located but what a loser. I will never use Lehrer's ever again. read more

Confusing process, poor communication, failure of customer service, and I am still waiting on a refund. Tuesday: I ordered a bouquet for my wife two days before her birthday. The order went through including the delivery location to our home in the 2-day time window as though all was fine. Wednesday: I received a call from the rep Amelia the next day that the delivery vendor would not make the delivery without tacking on an extra $12.85 to the delivery fee. I agreed to pay the up charge and Amelia said "ok". Without any further confirmation to be made for me at that moment, our call ended. Thursday (requested delivery date): The night of delivery (about 6pm) I called to request status on delivery, thinking it would have shown up during business hours but was running late. I had to give all of my contact info again even though I had my order number for them and had already given that all when I placed my order. This next rep said I would hear back "later" and there was nothing to be done but wait. Friday: This morning (morning after the delivery date) I got a call at 8am from a third and separate rep. She stated that a different rep had attempted to call me on Wednesday but that I missed their call (putting blame on me) and that they never received confirmation from me that I would pay an additional fee. In reality I returned Amelia's call when I had the chance on Wednesday morning and confirmed I would indeed pay the up charge as I stated earlier. I understood now that the flowers were never even heading my way. How am I to know that this is a trustworthy business? They kept my money and never sent the flowers. Didn't even get them out on a later delivery schedule. I requested a refund on Friday's call and this third rep said they would do so. I am still waiting on a refund. My wife didn't get her birthday bouquet as I hoped so I need this refund to go buy belated birthday flowers for her from a real business. Don't waste your time with these people. read more

I needed a same day delivery for my best friend on her birthday (october1st). Since 1800Flowers couldn't do same day I called the local flower shop in the area my best friend lives. I live out of state, Florida. The person was super friendly and helpful. The flowers arrived earlier then the time he said they would be delivered which is always a plus. I told him just a mixture of flowers and he asked any particular colors, I said no just whatever is available. They turned out beautifully. My mom was recently in an accident, and since I don't live in Denver and couldn't be with her I sent Lehrer's flowers, knowing they'd be good. Well, they were even better than I could have hoped for. The bouquet I ordered was colorful and happy and had lots of buds, so it was pretty on day one but is arguably even prettier a week (or two weeks!) later. Sending flowers is always hard, since usually you aren't there to see the results. Flowers can be expensive and it's hard to know what's worth the money and what's going to die quickly or arrive looking nothing like the photos. That isn't true with Lehrer's. My mom said that having these flowers has been a bright spot during some hard times and I just so appreciated the same-day delivery and how gorgeous the bouquet I ordered was. I initially messed up the delivery date and called and the woman I spoke to on the phone was so kind and helpful. It just seems like a lot of care goes into this company and it shows. My mom sends me almost daily photos and was clearly really touched and impressed with them. I chose Lehrer's Flowers to send an "I'm sorry" bouquet to a dear friend of mine. I had chosen a large, colorful and spring-themed bouquet and was charged $135 for a same day delivery. While my friend was very grateful for the flowers, the photo she sent me was incredibly disappointing. I see basic flowers and a lot of cheap green foliage- hardly worth the astronomical price I paid plus delivery. Alstroemerias, lilies and carnations are rather cheap and lower ticket flower selections. I used to work in floral, and was expecting a more colorful and frankly, more ornate arrangement with less cheap flowers and greenery. This looks thrown together with spare parts and pieces. I honestly regret using Lehrer's and should have just gone to Safeway and saved myself 80 bucks or more. Save your money and go elsewhere for professional arrangements. read more

I found this place on Yelp to deliver flowers to my sister. I ALWAYS find a local florist and delivery when sending flowers to someone out of state because they usually put together the best bouquets. However, for a $75 bouquet, this is what they sent my sister. I paid over $95 after tax and delivery fee. I am disappointed to say the least. To me, this is NOT a $75 bouquet. I asked her roommate, who opened for the delivery and was in on the surprise, how it looked and she said, "the flowers look fresh but it looks like a $30 bouquet." And that's how I feel too. Given, this cannot see these flowers in person BUT I have sent flowers from local florists to other people out of state at least 10 other times and I have never been disappointed by a bouquet before. I do not think this was worth the almost $100 I spent. In addition, I FOUND THEM ON YELP AND BASED ON OTHER REVIEWS I PICKED THEM. Their customer service over the phone was good but I am not happy with the price paid for this bouquet. Maybe it is my fault as I advised the flowers didn't matter as much as she doesn't really have a favorite flower so a pretty bouquet is what I wanted most. But I expressed the reason I was sending them was emotional and to express a thank you for supporting me and this doesn't really convey that at all. Why is there so much greenery? Hydrangeas do not last that long and they are a large filler. I am disappointed especially after seeing the beautiful bouquets other people have sent to their loved one from out of state from this same florist. read more
