Someone ordered flowers for me a week ago for my birthday. I missed them delivering it, and they wouldn't answer when I called them back 10 minutes later. I've called them several times for them to get redelivered and it took them a week to do so. So the flowers and balloon sat there for a week while I'd been calling. read more

I was in need of flowers for a memorial service and found this place through a google search. The ordering process was easy and there were lots of options. I chose the "deluxe" package, which offered a fuller arrangement. When I went to pick up the arrangement, however, I was sorely disappointed in the size and quality for what I paid ($100). Absolutely can't say enough about Diamond Floral and George. He is a visionary and an artistic floral genius beyond measure. Every time I order, be it Homecoming or Prom, or a special event, he takes a small idea and turns it in to a masterpiece. I almost want to get married again (maybe a stretch lol) to see what he may do next. George is fully invested and honestly cares about his next project. He also is the nicest person. Update: on the 15th I received a call to address my disappointment with the arrangement. The owners apologized and offered to resend the arrangement with less greens. I was much more satisfied with the second attempt which they had promptly delivered on the 19th. See the attached photo. Warning: Does not deliver as advertised! See the two photos attached. One is a photo of what I ordered online and the other is a pic of what was actually delivered. I couldn't be more disappointed considering the fact that I "upgraded" from the basic arrangement to this. To me, it appears little effort was given to this arrangement as it looks as though it was thrown together haphazardly at the last moment. The green foliage definitely over takes the flowers in the arrangement, which defeats the purpose of sending flowers in the 1st pla On a positive note- I did request delivery on 2/11 (three days ahead of Valentines Day) so that my GF could enjoy them all week. So impressed! I placed my order online for a delivery on the day of University of Denver's on-line/virtual/Covid graduation ceremonies. I knew it would be a busy day for deliveries as I'd already been refused at one florist and there are still quite a lot of florists closed due to Covid. My daughter was receiving her Master's degree and it's a bittersweet day with no family, no ceremony, and no proper celebration. After I placed my order I emailed the owner, George, with the following request: "I know you can't guarantee that the flowers will look exactly as in the photo. In case you must substitute, my daughter's favorite flower, by far, is the hydrangea so please try to build your arrangement around that flower. Other faves are tulips, roses, ...." And later I had to follow up with another MAJOR request that the flowers be delivered by 9:30 AM because she was leaving for a brunch. I've ordered from many florists and it's nearly impossible to have them delivered at a special time - and especially not at a busy time like a graduation. I am incredibly impressed and grateful to George at Diamond Floral Designs. My husband managed to order a truly depressing bouquet of flowers for my birthday. Blah, neutral colors and lots of carnations - my least favorite flower. I was sure he (my husband) must have made a mistake, was influenced by his assistant, or or was sending me a secret/negative message to decode. I tend to get a bit weepy on my birthdays and this one started off no differently. I called Diamond Floral Designs with very low expectations of anything being done about it and a good chance of being laughed at or shut down. I ordered an arrangement through 1-800-Flowers for a memorial service. Diamond Floral Designs was the local shop that was tasked to make and deliver the arrangement. I ordered the flowers to be delivered on Thursday, May 16th, by 4pm to the church where the memorial was being held. The memorial was scheduled for 11am on Friday, May 17th. When I arrived at the church on Friday at 10:30am, the flowers were not there. After looking through the church and speaking to the office manager, I called 1-800-Flowers to check on the delivery status. I was told by their customer service representative that the local florist, Diamond Floral Designs had made a note on the order stating that since the memorial was not until Friday at 11am, that they would be delivering the flowers Friday before the memorial started. On Friday. Not the day I requested. By this time, it was 10:45am. The flowers arrived at 11:10am, 17 hours and 10 minutes AFTER they were scheduled to be delivered. Even knowing when and where the memorial was, they couldn't even get them there on time. In addition to their blatant disregard for my scheduled delivery date and time, they were not even the correct flowers or colors, nor were they the correct size. This place apparently can't do anything right with your order. They think they can do whatever they want with your delivery time, order and order size without contacting you. This was completely unacceptable and turned an already bad day absolutely horrible. I would never recommend this place. read more

1800 Flowers should seriously get rid of them as a Denver outlet to deliver flowers. I had the absolute worst experience with them... All I was trying to do was get my girlfriend a nice Valentines bouquet same day on 1800 Flowers and they couldn't get that done. They tried to deliver it to my girlfriend's work and for some reason couldn't deliver it. Why they couldn't drop it off, they didn't say. They then called her and said they would deliver it at her apartment the next morning. Didn't do that either. The lady who she spoke with on the phone said that she was "going out her way" to deliver it at her apartment when it was already late. No yeah, you're totally going out of your way telling your driver a different address to send it to because you were late delivering it, oh and then NOT actually delivering it when they said they even said they did. And no, "The Driver is stupid." Is not an excuse. The lady actually said that on the phone. Finally the "Manager" there took down my girlfriend's number in the morning after not delivering it, said they would get it to her apartment in the afternoon, and what do they do? Deliver it to her work when she told them she would not be there. How they could deliver it this time is beyond me. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Do what you say you're going to do, or even if you don't, have some customer service and try and help out the client. Also, there seems to be a trend, check out the two 1 star Google reviews of this place: "Absolutely terrible customer service. Did not deliver flowers on time, and after order was canceled proceeded to call me (the receiver of the flowers) while at work to pick up flowers. Yelled at me on the phone and took time out of my day after they clearly messed up." "Did not deliver flowers on the correct day. At the time of delivery the person made a strange rude comment.....not what you want to hear when getting flowers. Not a great experience" Go figure. I doubt I even get a refund. I am in New York. I wanted to congratulate my mom on her birthday and ordered flowers online. Before of choosing this supplier, I read carefully the reviews, looked on the location of the flower shop which is one of the close to my mother's address, paid extra for the delivery and inform that it was her birthday. I want to see when they will do delivery, may be next year......))) I can't say nothing about flowers because my mother didn't see it yet. But it seems it will same like a "delivery for birthday". I read several bad reviews about this florist, but as they were located so close to my friends home, I decided to take a risk. I did confirm that they would deliver at the time I was requesting, mentioning the common complain in other google reviews. I also requested a lower delivery charge as I was not going though telaflora and the delivery was less than 1 mile away. The owner was very nice and agreed. I was emailed a confirmation of the order and also received a call after the delivery was made - exactly on time! My friend said how beautiful the flowers are. Great experience. read more
