I was in a desperate search for Beaujolais Nouveau 2009 (if you know what that is, you're awesome) to satisfy my French lust and decided to stop by Alameda Liquor Mart. What a great decision! This store is friendly and clean. And most importantly, stuffed with a great selection of wines and beers. As I walked in, what do you know, there is a display for Beaujolais Nouveau 2009. Fantastic! Definitely a new favorite liquor store. I also found some Big Sky Powder Hound and Shipyard Pumpkinhead straggling from the Halloween season. Score! I love me some good microbrews. If you live on this side of town, check Alameda Liquor Mart out. Really awesome store! A driving tip: If you're driving west on Alameda, turn south on Dayton and enter the parking lot from behind the Burger King. read more

This place is very large and nice and clean. Aisles are spacious and there's a good selection of wine, beers and liquors. Workers are friendly and say hi to you and everything seems well stocked. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I made two orders this week on Drizly and they canceled both - the first without calling me and the second time they called but admitted they did the same to a number of other customers. They made no attempt to fix their mistake and wanted me to role my purchases over to more generic spirits. No thanks and simple bate and switch (which is illegal and I'm an attorney with half a mind to do something about it). Don't order from them - they are terrible! read more

New ownership/management is terrible. They post allocated items on Facebook and then claim they "can't find you in the system and therefore can't sell to you". Yeah, I lived across the street for five years so I know you're lying. Craft beer selection has gone to hell too, bomber room filled with rotting beers. Never shopping here again. read more

Great beer selection for the area, clean, nice store, friendly staff, really can't say much is wrong with the place.

Don't judge a malt by its skirt. ALM is in a pretty nondescript building near one end of a strip center on the eastern edge of Denver. But inside it is huge! You won't beat the selection anywhere else in this part of town, and in particular their regional and microbrew beer stock is off the charts. A real treat for someone like me who used to drive across town or put up with more crowded places and ones with poorer offerings prior to discovering this gem. read more

Great selection, decent prices. This is one of the larger stores I've been to, but not as big as the huge "warehouse" stores. Had a good selection of bomber size craft beers. Prices are good, not too high but not so cheap I would go out of my way to get her. Overall a pretty good store. read more

I love this place. I just moved here from out of state, and they turned me on to some local red beers. If you can't find Pikes Peak Devils Head Red Ale, I'm the reason... but it's their fault! They shouldn't have turned me on to such a great beer! It's a gem! read more

They have a large selection, but their prices are higher than most decent liquor stores. Since it is close to home and has a large selection I have to give it two stars. But its staff is not knowledgeable. (for example, I asked about a wine I had bought at that very store two weeks earlier, and the clerk... who said she was their wine buyer! hadn't heard of it and even drew a blank when I mentioned Spanish wine by Osborne... one of the largest bodegas in Spain) In addition they lose points for crappy customer service. My wife went in a while back asking for a particular Dogfish beer from a small brewery in Delaware. The clerk told her that the variety was not available anywhere in Denver, and told my wife to buy another beer they had in stock. My wife just left and went to another liquor store 3 miles away that had what she was looking for as well as many others from Dogfish. My advice to Alameda Liquor Mart- take a tip from the old "Miracle on 34th Street" movie: If you don't have it, don't lie, or even feign ignorance about where it is available. Sending someone to a competitor to find what they are looking for, is ultimately better business. read more

If you want to pay higher prices and get rude customer service...this is the place for you!! This place isn't far from me and I didn't feel like driving to my usual place so I stopped in and the product that I get elsewhere for 19.99 and used to be 24.99 here has now jumped to 27.99..over 30.00 with tax. I made the comment that there price was outrageous and that I get could get the same product for 19.99 and I was told to feel free...so I did!!! I walked out and drove to my usual place and will never give this place one more cent of my hard earned money! read more
