Wallabys is a nice liquor store with a great selection of liquor and wine. I like their big selection of soju. One of the few places I can actually find Yogurt flavored soju (the best flavor). Their prices aren't too bad and are pretty standard for big name liquor brands. The one downside is that their beer selection is a little limited, but I don't run into that problem much as I don't really drink beer that often. Great place! read more

Ordered from DoorDash and was quoted 50min (though I live 15min away -- fine). Called them after 90min and they said it would be right there. Nothing. Called 30min later and they said they would call the driver and call me Right back. Nothing. Called 20min later (now nearly 2.5 hours after I ordered) and they said they didn't have an order from me, then backtracked and said they did have an order from me, but the driver called me and I didn't answer (untrue) so they canceled the order. I asked what issue the driver had, and asked why this wasn't conveyed to me when I called multiple times and left my phone number, and they hung up on me. Astoundingly bad customer service and an enormous waste of time, and several other reviews suggest other people have had similar experiences. I will never order from this place again. read more

The quick change of management has turned this place sour. What once was a great place to buy decently-priced alcohol with great workers to help you navigate through the store is now a desolate warehouse with workers that have no idea about what they're selling. The line to buy alcohol took over 40 minutes to check out. I asked a worker and they said there was a recent change with management. I figured to allow the period of growing pains before I make a final decision on Wallaby's. I can't help but wonder why the new management decided to change an already well-ran establishment but my reasons for coming here have dwindled to none. Just returned from this well-established liquor warehouse. Living so close, I have visited this store frequently over the years. Overall pricing is approximately 20-25% more than competition. I assume the ownership thinks we are oblivious to their continual price increases. In the back of the store, they have piped in loud, heavy metal rock music over the sound system. This is a real treat to listen to as you review their selection of over-priced beer. If more than three customers are waiting to check out be prepared to wait since there is only one check-out person. Not sure what is going on at this store but things need to change soon! read more

I am not a drinker. I mean that. Coming from a family with several who do/did drink, some even VERY heavily! I prefer not to. However, I decided to do something special for St Patrick's Day. Now to share, I'm part Irish. Isn't everyone on St Patrick's Day? LOL! Seriously though, my mother's side is. My mom is a redhead (not bright red, more brunette and red) and I have some cousins who are redheads. I was getting messages early in the morning with the 'Irish Blessing' and sayings and stuff. Amusing! I like to have an occasional drink, more like once every 2 months. I prefer sweeter drinks, such as mixed drinks (fru-fru la-la as some call it) or white wines. I also love certain garnishes with my mixed drinks. My favorite being cherries. My favorite drink is a Midori Sour. Ahead of going out, I called to find who is open/how late, if they had the items I wanted and if they had drive-thru. This place was a perfect trifecta of all three! Open late (10pm during the week I believe), was quick to answer the phone! Had a drive-thru and also carried jars of cherries! I was confused on which ones to get. They offered 2 types, the typical Maraschino cherries that I am use to ($5/jar) or the original Maraschino cherries from Luxardo (Made in Italy which is my 'other' heritage!). I ended up getting 2 of the $5/jar cherries. I will likely come back to try the other ones but they look to be in a jam and not sure how that would taste in a drink? I also purchased Sambuca from them. It was my best friends favorite liqueur. The brand is Romana Sambuca, which is also from Italy. While the cherries were very cheap, the Sambuca was not. Well worth it though, as I am sure I will enjoy it in the future. I prefer my liqueur in the fridge, not the cabinet. The lady in the drive-thru also took my info because they have a rewards program. I am not sure exactly how it works, but I am sure it is 'the more you spend, the more you get'. That is the way most of them work out. I ended up only having 1 large drink for St Patrick's Day, alcohol makes me sleepy. I did eat an entire (small) jar of cherries. I stayed home, best not to be out in my opinion. I watched The Departed, a favorite film of mine with an outstanding cast. I had planned to watch Leap Year but fell asleep before I could. I definitely give them 5 stars. Great customer service, had all the things I was looking for, rewards program, and very efficient! May return too or at least recommend to those of you who do like to drink. read more

Wallabys Liqour Warehouse is a great liquor store with a huge selection of wines, beers, and liquors. The store itself is conveniently located right off Parker road on the way to Aurora from Denver. I recently visited here on Christmas Eve with a friend to stock up on some drinks for an upcoming party. The selection that they have available is extremely wide. Plenty of different vodkas, whiskeys, beers, and wines. The staff that worked in here were very welcoming and greeted you as you entered and left the store. I've been coming here for months, and there has been no problem at all between me and the employees there. I have always been respected and I've always been respected back... until today @9:43 am after work when I was being followed around the store asking if I needed help all because i wanted to try something new, so I didn't know exactly what I wanted. I knew they were treating me as a thief because they would continuously ask if I was sure I didn't need help finding something. I repeatedly said no I'm okay. And on the third time of them being in that area for pointless reasons "the store manager/owner" says well if you don't need help why do you take so long deciding? And I had to ask if they thought I was going to try to steal something and she said well why are you looking suspicious? I had to remind her that "it is broad daylight and not even 10am yet. Why would I be looking to steal when I live next door and I've been coming here and paying my money like everyone else?" There was nothing suspicious about me besides my skin color. I'm not normally one to post a review immediately after an experience but I just had to only because I feel let down by this place. I've been coming here for 11 years, not all the time every time but enough that I go here when I need to stock up for an event or holiday or whatever- I always support my local mom and pop places in my neighborhood and sometimes I need a bigger selection so I come here- well today I went in and I had my "bags" because we all carry bags for shopping these days, the lady working who has usually been friendly said good morning then said you need to leave your backpack at the door- I said I didn't have a backpack it was my bag for my items and she said you need to leave it at the front- I said but it's my bag for my items- she rolled her eyes and said "whatever" you need to leave it at the front. ???? To begin with, I wanted to pick-up a good bourbon for a xmas/birthday present. I looked on the internet and saw Angel's Envy anniversary special cask distilled. I couldn't purchase it from the distillery so I went to Wallabys where I go for my wine and liquor purchases because the prices are decent and the service is good. I talked to the owner, Helen and she told me she would call Angel's Envy on my behalf. For the next month I searched the web and many liquor outlets for this bourbon. Last week Helen called and told me she finally got a bottle in for me. Helen went way beyond in talking to Angel's Envy and securing this product; I say this because I visited over a dozen other outlets and not one of them would go the extra effort like Helen did. Local Disneyland for adults. We always get our liquors from Wallabys Warehouse, variety is one reason but paying 4.5% sales tax is unbeatable. It has a fairly fast drive-through plus a huge parking lot. The place is clean and well-organized. We can always find any signature product we want here. Huge selection of domestic and imported beers. You can find beers from some of the best breweries across the country like my favorite Boulevard Brewery. Great organized wine section from Napa to France & Italy and the liquor section which has almost any well to premium product you ever desire. The management and staff are super nice and helpful, they always help us find the product that you want. Holiday sales are another unbeatable thing just go to the huge middle section that has prepackaged well-discounted items. Very strict ID policy as it should be, don't forget your ID. read more

Poor customer service. I used to shop here often. But the workers are super unfriendly. I don't like signing up for rewards. I rarely do. They always asked, but I never signed up. One day they told me that if I sign up, I would not need my Driver's license. So I signed up. Every single time I go in there, they disregard the membership and still require a driver's license no matter how many times they've seen me. Wallaby's drew me in based on location and name. I keep going back because of selection and knowledge and friendliness of the employees. There is a very large wine selection (not Argonaut large, but close) the booze section is decent, with a few rare liquors offered. though there are not endless rows of beer cases, they offer just what you want or need without having to go down to Colfax to visit Argonaut. The staff at Wallaby's is very friendly and I find that they have a good knowledge of their wines and other boozy offerings. I particularly enjoy their New York flavored whiskeys: try the apple flavor. If you live in the SE Denver or Aurora area this should be your go to liquor store. read more

I used a Kriek cherry lambic, a chocolate stout & a Voodoo Donut's rogue beer for my beer ice cream floats for Valentine's day & it was a success. I really like Wallaby's for all my alcoholic needs. They have a vast selection of wines, beers, and spirits. Their staff is always so nice and helpful. They'll help you find exactly what you want, look in their computer to see when the next delivery is expected, and offer suggestions if they are out or don't carry what you're looking for. I never have to ask for help because the staff is always present within the store greeting you with a smile ans they know when you need help by the look on your face, but this doesn't mean that they don't offer help when you are on a specific mission. They have coupons for 10% off on the back of grocery receipts that although have an expiration date, they still accept expired coupons. Their rewards program for purchases is really easy and it's always a nice surprise when they ask you if you want to redeem a reward. It also helps that they are in an unincorporated area so sales tax is just the 4.25% state tax. read more

I used to love Wallaby's and shopped there often. The selection is good and the prices are too. I will NEVER shop there again ater being HUMILIATED by the manager today. I went to run errands with my 20 year old son and 16 year old daughter. I asked them if they wanted to wait in the car at Wallaby's - but they wanted to come in with me. I picked up a case of beer and a bottle of Whiskey. I like to browse so I asked my son if he would carry the beer for me. When I got to the counter the checkout person asked to see my son's license. I explained that he had just helped me to carry it to the counter. She said she couldn't sell it to me becaue he had carried it. I told her "Fine - I understand , if that's your policy, I'll just buy the Whiskey". She called the manager over and he literally took the Whiskey from me and told me he wouldn't sell EITHER item to me because my son had TOUCHED the beer! The woman standing in line behind me was incredulous. She said "Even if that's her son?" I understand that they have rules - but COME ON! Do they think that future generations will not be buying alcohol?! My children learned something - they will have the right to buy alcohol when they are old enough - and they WON'T buy from companies that treat their loyal customers so SHAMEFULLY.
