What a great decision! This store is friendly and clean. And most importantly, stuffed with a great selection of wines and beers. As I walked in, what do you know, there is a display for Beaujolais Nouveau 2009. Fantastic! Definitely a new favorite liquor store. I also found some Big Sky Powder Hound and Shipyard Pumpkinhead straggling from the Halloween season. Score! I love me some good microbrews. If you live on this side of town, check Alameda Liquor Mart out. Really awesome store! A driving tip: If you're driving west on Alameda, turn south on Dayton and enter the parking lot from behind the Burger King.

This is one of two liquor stores close to my apartment. The other one is basically a warehouse. I go to both but OKL is definitely my favorite! As a consumer of too much liquor I can attest that the selection and prices are top notch. There will always be a multitude of choices from beer too wine too liquor that fits into your price range and taste buds. I have met four people who work there and someone is always willing to help me find something or make a suggestion. Everyone who I have met working there is genuinely kind and I enjoy the back and forth banter with the two young men who I see most behind the counter. My last visit was yesterday and I picked up some wine; I was excited too see some new additions to the shots collection! Singular mixed drink shots are here! Yay! The prices were the lowest I've seen for these shots and perfect for a get together, especially with the variety pack. I'll definitely be back for those for a late night BBQ this Saturday!
