Breakfast Biscuit Sandwhich

I absolutely love this SOBO resturant on a monthly basis. The brunch food is fantastic, the service is always fast, great drinks and awesome TVs for football on Sundays. 9/10 I go to this place on repeat.

Came on a business trip to Denver with my bf and we tried this place out. The food was very filling and good. Our server was very sweet and attentive. I would recommend if you're in Denver and looking for a quick bite.

BRamble

After months of driving of past this place, we decided to stop for a small celebratory dinner. The staff were so friendly! And oh my god, the cocktails were amazing! As someone who is a bit picky about what she drinks, I was pleasantly surprised on how good all the drinks were. The BRamble might become my all-time favorite drink to get. It had a perfect hint of sweetness and vanilla to it while being refreshing. We decided to go with Fries & Country Steak Gravy. It was delicious, and the fries were cut so perfectly to scoop out some of the sausages in the gravy. For entires, we tried the ribeye philly cheesesteak and the mushroom swiss burger. Both were juicy and packed with a ton of flavor! If none of those sound good, they have a few other entree options for you try!

The food, ambiance, drinks and staff were amazing! We enjoyed a whiskey tasting and Aaron did a great job in explaining everything about whiskey! You can tell he has a passion for this! My first time going and now that I have found it here, I will definitely be coming often!

Tuesday burger day specials

For some reason tonight was my first time here. My mushroom and Swiss burger was awesome, and cooked perfectly. And the fries (will remind you of British chips) were great too. My boyfriend's fried chicken and gravy was awesome (though a little smaller chicken portion than we expected). Last, they have some great local whiskey cocktails and my boyfriend was really happy with their beer selection. We'll be back! (Probably on a Tuesday when apparently they have burger specials!)

Jalapeño Popper Burger

We've lived less than a mile from here for almost a year but just now tried it for the first time. We went on a Saturday evening around 6pm and it was about a 10 minute wait. My boyfriend got the Kolsh beer which he said was really good. I got the pineapple cider which was fine, but it just tasted like a pineapple seltzer and I felt it was definitely overpriced... $9 for a cider? If it hadn't been for my dyslexia and originally reading the price as $6 on the menu and not realizing the real price until the check came, I wouldn't have ordered it. Oh well. I then got the fried green tomato BLT and my boyfriend got the Jalapeño popper burger. The BLT was good, I don't know if I've ever actually had fried green tomatoes before so that was fun. My boyfriends burger was unfortunately very over cooked, with no pink at all. The best part was the fries which were awesome, I'd never seen fries like those before! The other thing is the place was SO HOT. Granted, it was a 100 degree day, but their AC was hardly pumping we were both sweating through our meal. If I could, I would give it 3.5/5.

It's so sad to hear TWB is sold and closing. Emily is a rockstar, still giving 100%. I'm glad we got to experience the last week

It's nestled in a bustling neighborhood and it's the perfect place to grab an after dinner drink, an afternoon happy hour cocktail, or just to go and hang out on a nice day. The Englewood Grand, though offering many different kinds of liquor, is essentially a whiskey bar. The bartenders are super knowledgeable about varieties, brands, and drinks and even have their own house made assortments and mixers. As a Rye drinker, I appreciate that there is an option for happy hour. It's dimly lit and has a prohibition vibe without being stuffy. My 2 most favorite things about this place however, are the selection of music and video that are playing when I come in. There is usually modern punk or alternative playing on the speakers as old black and white films or b-horror movies accompany your visit. Something to try if you haven't yet!

I think this might be more of a younger persons hanging out bar than the kind of bar Im typically looking for. I did see some guys playing my favorite board game so its clearly a good place for that kind of hang.

They've gotten do much busier though. There must've been over 30 people at the bar getting drinks. But the 4 bartenders at the bar were slinging them out quickly. But no one was overly rowdy or raucous. People were friendly and conversational but stayed in their lanes also. Even though all these years have passed. And the pandemic has ravaged many businesses. Their cocktails are consistently excellent, but the standout for me is the Gentleman's Buck. It's perfectly balanced, refreshing, and endlessly drinkable. I still wish they'd bring it back onto the happy hour menu! The staff makes the experience even better. Sam and Joshua are fantastic bartenders - friendly, welcoming, and genuinely great at what they do. They make the bar feel like a place you want to return to again and again. And if you're a whiskey fan, their Whiskey Wednesday events are always a blast. You can learn something new, try something interesting, and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Seven Grand delivers on all fronts: great drinks, great people, and a great location. Highly recommended!

I love a good deviled egg but this one was just okay, it lacked any flavor. I also saw people rave about the cinnamon roll but it was just okay and dry. A lot of the items on the menu were a bit pricey for size/taste/quality but for a special occasion or date night could be worth it. First, wife is a vegetarian and they had no mains other than Mac and cheese for her. She ordered the salad without chicken which was $25. They knocked it down to $22 after I asked why it was the same price without meat, which still seemed like a lot for a salad with no protein. Kids' Mac and cheese was not the same receipe as last time; it was a different noodle and seemed to be needing some salt as it was pretty bland. Unlike our last visit they did not include an ice cream for dessert. My fried chicken and waffles was ok--the breading was a bit soggy though and I much preferred the Nashville hot chicken from my last visit. If I'm being honest this was closer to a 2 star experience, but with how good the last visit was, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt they maybe tonight they were just off. That said--need one vegetarian entree for the menu.

It's divey, has a pool table and a jukebox. You're here for a good time, so drink up. Cheap beers in bottles and a really nice selection of whiskies. The fact you have the option to order a made to order, hand crafted cocktail or a cheap beer resonates with me. My only qualm with this place is that is usually takes me a million years to get a drink. I've been here half a dozen times and I don't know if it's just bad luck on my end, but I've had to wait at the bar for a long time. The bartenders work hard and sometimes are dealing with rowdy patrons, I've just been skipped a handful of times. Won't stop me from coming back, just my experience! For cocktails, you can't go wrong with their house old fashioned or negroni. Or even their Japanese whiskey highballs. They do have a rotating selection of house cocktails too that I've had previously and enjoyed. For beers, I love that they have Coors Banquet, Hamms, Lone Star and Miller High Life for $4. They also boast some great local ales for only a few bucks more. Great neighborhood bar. Should be in the rotation more often. Bring your crew and saddle up for a fun night at High Lonesome.
