This is a nice hidden gem nestled in the corner of the shopping area that has McDonald's, Bill's Pizza and Los Dos Potrillos. They don't try to sugarcoat that they are a small bar with lots of regulars. I wouldn't have even made a point to visit this place except a coworker told me they have great burgers. He was right! They get their burger meat from Tony's Meat Market and they grill them on a real barbecue. I sat at the bar because I like that my server is captured in an area. I get the best service that way. I order the burger and chose the fries. The burger was HUGE, delicious, and perfectly prepared. The bun was bakery fresh and the fries were a nice compliment to the meal. If you're looking for a fun bar with great ambiance, maybe you should look elsewhere. But if you want an amazing burger, head on over to this place! read more

The western burger was dry and the bottom bun fell apart immediately. The cheese curds were good but the tater tots were greasy. I found out they only had one cook and the patio was pretty busy with lots of different orders. I think there is more than enough places in the area to eat that would be way better choices. read more

The current owners/managers are so rude & careless. The old owner Michelle was the nicest. But now the amount of times I've seen this place over serve there patrons while waiting for Los Dos people are literally stumbling out to their cars to drive away so I will absolutely be reporting this as I've seen it on way too many occasions. After all the 1 and 2 star reviews I was worried I wouldn't have a good experience here but I actually did. The bartenders also come over to the tables. We were lucky to get the one big corner booth, the bartender came right over with menus and asked if wanted a drink. She let us know the beers she had on tap without hesitation. We both had a palasade peach beer, we shared fried mushrooms and cheese curds. The mushrooms were fresh, I'm sure the cheese curds were frozen but still yummy. The gal didn't pressure us for another beer, she came by later and asked if we were doing ok, I appreciated that. It was Sunday so there were a lot of guys watching football, not rowdy at all. However, doesn't matter how much money you spend, the bar will never buy you a beer. I guess that's most bars in our area so we just can't blame them for that. But lately its been different. I had posted a bad review a while ago, which I deleted after some remorse, and was approached by a bar tender tonight. Not sure what the purpose was except to let me know that I was the loser since I was still going there. The issue with the place is really the bar tenders. They are definitely friendly to the customers they know....but relatively unfriendly to everyone else. This bar is also well known for pushing drinks. Your drink will be half full when they ask you for another. Friends have told me stories of them pouring shots that were not asked for, and expecting them to pay. I really don't get it, and I obviously hang in bars all over the us. Why do the bar tenders need to be so uptight? So tough? Let's stay friendly...and never buy me a drink (fine!). I was yelled at recently for my last review and it was uncalled for. I'm a happy paying customer and I'm not starting trouble, if you don't like your review make some changes or ask me what the issues are. That is the power of Yelp. Blood spilled out drenching my to go box.. I took bite after bite and had to keep tossing those chewed pieces away Hey some may very well like their burgers this way But I personally wasn't a huge fan. Horrible service. I ordered a Moscow Mule and my boyfriend ordered a beer with a apple crown royal shot. They came back with the worst tasting Moscow Mule I've ever had and since they didn't have crown apple they just assumed that he would be OK with a shot of Jim Beam. Adding that to the inappropriate waitress that was most likely trying to get a bigger tip by flirting with my boyfriend right in front of me, and the fact that she thought it would be a good idea to rub his shoulder was the point where she crossed the line. I've been going to this local bar for years. It's unbelievable that the very few people who frequent this place are treated like crap. I have no idea how the people that work there would be able to pay their rent without these regular customers. Guess what...you don't get to provide the worst service ever and get a tip. You make your own hours. Your kitchen closes at any time you decide and the bar closes any time you want to go home. I heard someone offer the server $50 just to stay open for 30 more minutes (mind you, it was 10 Pm). The staff recently turned over completely, and the service is even worse than before. If you're looking for a terrible local bar where the locals have stopped going and the service is horrid, then the Sunset Grill is your place! Friendly bartenders and great service, even if you're not a regular! My date, well, at least the smokin hot guy who pretends to like me, put it perfectly, stating, "This is the kind of place that you come to, by yourself, hoping you'll run into someone you know and, if not, you just make friends with the juke box and sing along to some hard rock." This place is a great little local bar, always full of regulars. The staff here is very nice, and the drinks are good too. The food is so-so, mostly bar food but they have good wings and my dad loves the dry ribs. They have quite a few tv's for watching sports, and a juke box for tunes, as well as a great patio. As someone else mentioned, it is a smoking patio so if you are a non-smoker that might bother you. They also have a pool table. Had hoped to make this my regular watering hole, so have gone a few times. Sometimes service has been fine and bartenders respectful. Decent place to just chill and food was typical bar food. But went recently. Bartender was terrible. Saw me, didn't want to serve me. Told me they had no menus - total lie. Wouldn't help me figure out different beers on tap. Was completely rude to me. Well, she was successful in keeping me out as I will never go there again. Maybe because I'm not white? Maybe because I looked unhappy walking in? (I had a bad day but definitely did not raise my voice or act rude). I won't be going back again. Could've been a good place, but based on past reviews, crappy treatment except for regulars or favorites is typical. I would advise to avoid unless you want to play server roulette and hope you get someone with average respect for others. What a great place to drink big tall cans of ice cold PBR and eat dry rubbed short ribs. The view is great, so is the service and the people that go there are all regulars. Sunset Grille is a great little local bar serving really good food off a somewhat limited menu. That's fine with me because you don't have to do a lot if you do it well. IMO the Burgers & Tater Tots are great. They use high quality beef and will cook the generous sized patties anyway you like them, including medium rare. They have an energetic staff and service is friendly. The patio/deck is nice, but smoking is allowed and it can be overwhelming for NON-Smokers. They have multiple HDTVs and a pool table inside. The best part is, we always seem to meet fun people at the bar. They are consistently offering coupons in the ValPac and are also participating in www.DineDealer.com. Parking is somewhat limited at the end of the center, but there are usually extra spots beside the storage warehouse on the west side. read more

This is right down the street from my house, so the wife and I stopped in to get a drink one night and some apps. Oops! It's a neighborhood kinda place in the back corner of a strip mall, it's small, they have maybe two TVs, (and therefore NOT a sports bar) they have alcohol, (which is good for a bar) and they have a West-facing patio to view the sunset. Food wasn't that great either. If you want a place to go to drown your sorrows alone or where everyone there (the three people in the bar) knows each other except you, this is your place.
