This was our first visit to Papa's Public House, and we were thoroughly impressed! The restaurant was spotless, had a great atmosphere, and the wait staff was attentive from the moment we walked in. Olivia did an outstanding job taking care of us, and Phil was excellent as well. We were hoping to see Murph, but maybe next time! I had the all-you-can-eat wings, and they were fantastic. My wife ordered the hamburger, and she really enjoyed it. Between the great food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommend giving Papa's Public House a try! read more

Was visiting a friend in the area and decided to try out this place for some dinner. It's in a strip mall type plaza with plenty of parking and there was some type of event happening that night that made seating limited for walk-ins, but we luckily found the last four top that was available. You have a pretty good view of the entire place from outside, it definitely gives bar vibes, but is also a good place to bring the kids for a quick easy meal. The service was great, we were greeted quickly and the wage that gave her recommendations between different dishes when I asked. People come in for the Birria grilled cheese so I decided to give it a try. My friends decided to have the wings. I was a little disappointed in the sandwich, the bread was already very soggy when it came out, when combined with the tenderness of the meat, melted cheese and consommé for dipping, it turned into a mushy mess. The flavors were good though. My friends were also a little underwhelmed by the wings. The meatball sub looked pretty good and if I came back, I would try that, I appreciate the staff's friendliness and attention to our needs read more

What a great find!! Previous reviewers are spot on. I hope this place has the option to expand in the future. My husband and I stopped in and it was perfect. 6-7 tv screens and a variety of NFL games and of course the Broncos. Greeted by several staff. Courteous and friendly to be sure. We had toasted ravioli and a tasty marinara. I had the house burger and fries. Very yummy. My guy had a birria grilled cheese and a bowl of green chili and loved it. Location is convenient and there is plenty of parking. Be sure you lock your car, cuz I've heard sketchy things about the safety of VASA workout facility. PSA over. See you at Papa's!! read more

Sorry Papa's Public House but I didn't love too much about your bar and grill but first I must say the owner and staff were very friendly and Murph even bought me a shot of Jameson. I feel like everything was ok like the beer selection and food menu but just ok. I got their house IPA which was good not great. I got a 6 piece wings with the dry rub. I feel like there was wayyyy to much rub on the wings and rub was a little smokey and a little maple tasting but I ultimately didn't really like the flavor. It just kind of a bland space with a drop ceiling and small overhead LED can lights. A very plain back bar. I was told their is live music on Fridays and Saturdays. I really wanted to like this place more but alas I feel it was nothing special. Sorry Murph. read more

Everything was delicious! I had my burger cooked medium-well and it was perfect; it was still slightly pink inside and moist. While the burger was very tasty, one major plus was that it was also structurally sound (all the ingredients stayed inside the bun and the bun didn't fall apart)! The Hubs also enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich. I tasted the bbq sauce and the slaw that came with his lunch and both were amazing (I dipped more of my fries into the extra bbq sauce that came with his sandwich than I did into the comeback sauce). The fries that came with the burger were crispy, not greasy and not overly salted. While I only had an iced tea with lunch, I did peruse their specialty drinks menu. Wowza, is that a read! The flavors are rich and the portion size is generous. And don't even get me started on the green chili cheeseburger--it's a must-try! Perfectly cooked with just the right kick of spice. The wings are also phenomenal; they come in a variety of sauces and are always cooked to perfection. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Papas Public House is a place you don't want to miss. Top-notch food at great prices--definitely five stars all the way! read more

Nothing special. Hand cut fries definitely out of a frozen bag. The special grilled cheese they had was good, burger was dry and very forgettable. Tots were good. Really was a mixed bag. read more

Our service lady was all smiles, happy to serve and accommodating. I had my eyes set for chille rellenos and aslo their burgers. I saw several nearby tables ordered them. I ended up ordering the burgers. Thier version of rellenos were deep fried stuffed egg rol which I do not care for. My burger was juicy even though I ordered it well done, fries were amazing. I got to taste the fajita with green chile which was excellent. The baby back ribs are fall off the bone kind with lots of BBQ sauces all over served with cole slaw with round shaped corn bread. Overall, you get the food and service to match with the price. One of my favorite

We tried the mini chile rellenos, artichokes, halibut, and Louisiana shrimp. Portions are on the small side, but overall the quality was very good. The pacing was very slow. The biggest disappointment was the Texas chocolate sheet cake à la mode. It looked fantastic, but the cake itself was surprisingly dry and didn't live up to the presentation. Great atmosphere and some very good food, but between the small portions and disappointing dessert, it lands at three stars for me.

When we arrived, they weren't prepared and quickly pulled a table together but missed a chair and setup. This is simple but speaks to oversight and lack of attentiveness. After borrowing a chair from another table, our group sat down and no later than 30 seconds our server was asking what drinks we wanted to order. It would have been helpful to point out the drink menu or give a recommendation versus demanding to know what we wanted. The interior is noisy and covered in carpet. Over half of our orders came out wrong- wrong protein on the wrong plate with wrong side. And to top it all off, did the kitchen lose their seasoning rack? Nothing was seasoned. The steaks were a poor cut, overcooked, the poor vegetables looked like they were boiled and thrown in a serving bowl, and the baked potatoes were either straight up plain or obviously sitting under a heat lamp because the cheese was dried. I envisioned the kitchen cooking in silo, throwing their portions on a plate with no consideration of the whole meal. It's giving cafeteria food. When we go out, we measure quality by evaluating whether we could cook it as well at home. This failed by a significant margin. I'd love to support local restaurants but at this price point and lack of quality, we'll try elsewhere, anywhere but here.

The hostess was extremely friendly, very conversational, and we definitely got that Southern hospitality. Our waiter, Ben, was extremely helpful when it came to questions we had and dishes that he would recommend us to try as first timers. We started off with their monthly special of fried okra and it was very delicious especially dipped in their homemade sauce. The okra was lightly battered, fried to perfection, and had a little spicy kick to it for every bite. Both my wife and I went with Ben's recommendation of the Monica-Smothered Catfish and Pork Chops. It was great to know that you could order the lunch portion during dinner hours and we did just that as we weren't too hungry after getting off the plane. The catfish fillets were cooked perfectly and it paired well with the crawfish tail cream sauce. One of the best catfish dishes I have eaten. As for the pork chop, it was grilled perfectly as well and the vegetables were a nice side. Also, one of the best pork chop dishes I have eaten. The creamed potatoes were delicious, but I didn't expect melted butter on top. Since the restaurant was busy for dinner service, there was a hiccup with our toddler's meal and Ben resolved it very quickly. I wished we had room for dessert because the descriptions were definitely mouth watering and Ben did ask us a few times if we wanted to try the beignets as they are a top seller. All in all, we would definitely come back here whenever we're in Colorado to try other dishes as well as the desserts! Service was excellent as our waiter and the other staff made our dining experience very smooth and seamless. They checked in on us in a timely manner and made sure we weren't missing anything. The restaurant was clean and had a good mix of the Colorado outdoor and the Southern/New Orleans decor. The parking lot is a decent size and we always saw it full whenever we left the hotel during lunch and dinner times.
