I had eggs benedict which was ok, and a bloody mary that really hit the spot. It had just the right spice and the bartender asked me how spicy I wanted it - it was perfect! It's a great place, a great sports bar atmosphere, great food, a nice bar with great offerings of beer, wine and liquor. However, our experience on all three visits has been while the initial service is great, getting seated, getting your food served, but once that happens, then the staff seems to forget about you. It may be a staffing issue. But on our last visit for Father's Day, it appears the chef was running food to the tables as well, so we understand staffing can be difficult. That is really the only complaint we have. It's close to family, has gluten-free offerings so somewhat of a favorite so we'll continue to visit but the service drop off after your meal is served is our only complaint.

Music Bingo and Trivia Nights are quite fun and what keeps me going back. It is sad though that it seems with each return visit, the service gets worse. Tonight was special because 1) I was struggling to find a server to get my initial order placed, 2) my food order is often delivered without the basics (napkins and silverware), and 3) I was never offered refills or the chance to place an additional order. What made it extra special was that one of the ladies in the group had an automatic gratuity added to her order (20%) while the rest of us were given the option to choose our tip amount. Without explanation and no forewarning. Now normally I am very generous when it comes to tipping. I recognize the hard work that goes into serving customers but with the low level of service, i didn't feel 20% was deserving. I want to like this place, especially with the "new" management, but attentive service is the most important in the industry and really has an impact on customer experience. Hopefully Toley's can do better.
