I've been trying my hardest not leave a review but only getting 3 wings when I ordered 2 orders of 6 wings instead of just 12 wings for $4 less but was never offered that deal. Very deceptive business practices. They won't give you an itemized receipt. When paying they take you to a screen with the total and four tip options. What they don't tell you is they've already charged 20% tip to the bill and are asking for even more on top of it. Server also got our group entrees all mixed up. So this place is just great. We were a little disappointed because the online happy hour menu is totally different than what they serve. Also, they're menu points you to the website, that isn't updated note to management - please update the website and happy hour specials! But the bartender was just so kind, and then the food comes out and you're not annoyed anymore. The naan is so garlicky you may never again kiss someone, but who cares?? You can dip it and have a love affair with the hummus. The curry medium is quite spicy, you might slightly regret it, but not really. The chicken birayni is huge and also, so yummy. Walking into this establishment I didn't have high hopes but this place blew my mind. Their menu was already 20 pages filled with creative twists on food with classics embedded. I love the fusion mix they were trying to create at this location. Definitely a great hang out spot to catch up with some friends super casual seating with low and high tops. The appetizers and street food alone looked great. We were a little hesitant at first, the parking lot was empty, having arrived at 11:30am. Upon entering the restaurant I could already smell the aroma of the spices used in the foods! It was delightful. When you enter the foyer, there is a billiards room to the left and the restaurant is straight ahead. There are windows in the restaurant that allow you to see into the billiards room. It reminded me of the extensive menu at a certain chain cheesecake restaurant. This is great for some people. I am the type of person who wants to try all the things on the menu so it made it even more difficult for me to choose. I ordered tomato soup which was a little sweet for my taste so I didn't finish it. The portion was pretty large even though I ordered a small one. For my meal I ordered chicken tikka masala. I requested medium spice level. It came with rice that I thought was just ok. I couldn't decide between garlic naan or butter naan and my server suggested the garlic. She said it's the best in the city! My entree was the perfect spice level for me and exactly what I would expect ordering medium spicy. The chicken was tender. I felt like I could taste the individual spices and they all melded together for a perfect combination. The garlic naan was an excellent suggestion. It was soft, with a tiny bit of crunch, and a good amount of garlic. I could've eaten another one of those! For my appetite, this was easily a 2 meal plate. Had I been with someone else, it would have made an excellent shareable meal. Overall, this restaurant was a win in my book. Next time I'm in town, I'll try to go back. This review is about the buffet. I was in Denver with my family and took them to Sunday lunch. They had a buffet and we were warned the kitchen was busy. The buffet is $20 each and includes water or chai to drink. They have made dosa to order and it was good but the wait was long since they can only make 2 at a time. The dosa off the menu is much better. Larger, multiple options of filling, and with several sauces. They were consistently out of naan. I was able to try some dishes I hadn't had before but there was no butter chicken, no tikka masala of any kind. No samosa. I don't recall seeing any paneer dishes. I've been here and ordered from the menu many times while in the area on business and always been happy with the food and service. I won't be able to convince my family to come back after this experience and if my first visit had been the buffet I would not be back. read more

Very strange place. This is an Indian sports bar, restaurant and bakery. Really huge menu with lots of foods I have never heard of. Just went with Tandoori chicken and garlic Naan. The Tandoori chicken came sizzling hot and was very delicious but spiced a bit different than the Tandoori I know and love. The garlic Naan was the perfect complement to the mildly spiced Tandoori chicken. Had a great IPA for 7.00 per pint. There is also a 9.00 size but not sure of the pour size. I came here for a birthday party at the first of the month and wanted to take my husband here for the goat, so after a trip to IKEA, we headed over. We ordered the Masala Dosa, and it is both beautiful and delicious. The sauces have spice without being too hot and the flavors blend with the potatoes to perfection. We also ordered the goat Rogan Josh, and again, it was beautiful to look at and tasted like a flavor explosion in my mouth. Spicy enough to give you a little kick but not so you couldn't taste the flavors. My husband got a summer shandy and said it paired perfectly with with food. This is a huge restaurant chain with large tvs all around and a ton of seating. They have a very large menu ranging from authentic Indian food to Asian inspired dishes to desserts and pastries. They have happy hour deals whenever there is any sporting game too so pretty high chance you will get some great drink deals. Food is great. Was looking for a Sunday spot to watch the Sunday games. When I looked at the location, I realized the had taken over the old fox and hound- so I knew it was a bigger spot with many tvs. Upon arrival I was surprised to see that it is also an Indian restaurant. The minute you walk in you can smell the the strong seasoning and spices they use in their food. The layout is kept the same as the old bar, they kept the other room to play pool. They did have redzone, but to name yourself a tavern. They need to do better and put on more games and use all the tvs- the tvs on the sides were off. I was excited to try the food, because I have been craving Indian food lately. The pomplet whole fish caught our eye. Our server/bartender told recommended it to us as well. The fish was a lot smaller than expected, and surprisingly it didn't come with any sides like rice. It did come with a cilantro dipping sauce that I didn't think went with the fish. It completely changed the taste of the fish. But in general the fish wasn't bad but it was heavily over seasoned in our opinion. The spices overpower tasting the actual fish. For the chicken Tikka Masala, it was good- but they were very stingy on the chicken. I was asked how spicy from a scale of 1-5, the four wasn't as spicy as expected but had a nice kick. This entree did come rice but I had to order the garlic naan with this as well. The garlic naan was my favorite. Light, fluffy and warm- the best compliment to eat with any Indian food in my opinion. Service was okay- not the best or the worst. They weren't very busy when we came. I feel they need to work on the atmosphere more to make it a tavern and attract the sports type of crowd to get it busy. read more

Comics were ok, but really good Indian Food. The Chicken Tikka Masala was great and properly spicy - could have used a bit more chicken, but the sauce was great. Came here on a Friday night at 6:30, plenty of seating. There were SO many options, a bunch of them gluten free (vegetarian as well). The kids split a cheese dosa (we all stole pieces) and then they had a kids "very mild" noodle dish with egg. The noodle dish was served with scallions and peppers, and I thought my 4-year old would veto it... but he tried it and loved it! Vaishnavi was our server and she was very patient as we took a long time to make up our minds with all the options. She recommended the chicken 65 which my husband enjoyed, I ordered the gluten free Kadai Chicken (delicious!) and my brother ordered the Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice. Paradise Tavern did not disappoint!! The Gobi was delicious, with quite a bit of heat for "mild." Portion was generous. The naan was very good, although the cheese in the paneer naan was basically nonexistent. The garlic naan was mildly flavored. The mango lassi and the chai were both VERY good. Came to paradise tavern with a group of friends, one of them being from India, she said they had some of the best Indian food around! We ordered a bunch of dishes - hummus and naan, Madhurai chicken pepper fry, chicken tikka masala and some more cauliflower dishes (can't remember what they were) but everything was sooo good! Our Indian friend liked hers spicy, and it was spicy! So most of the dishes we ordered mild and still had a little spice! The place was quite, we went on a weekday.
