Love coming here. Delicious food and the environment is very comfortable. They got good taste in music playing , while you wait for your food. Service was fast and they were polite. My family and I came here before but I secretly came here by myself. Btw, my kids really like the sweet chili chicken. I had to pickup and order before leaving. Have to feed the raptors when I get home. You will definitely like coming here.

I've been non-stop thinking about this amazing Katsu set I had in Honolulu and was hoping to find something similar in Denver. Several recommendations led me to The Pork Let. It is located in a strip mall next to a GW Supermarket and several other asian restaurants. It is an order first at the counter then sit down type of restaurant. There is a self serve station including water, utensils, and napkins. You also clear your own plates after eating. I ordered the Porklet (pork loin cutlet) and my husband got the Cheeselet ( mozzarella cheese inside a pork cutlet). The Porklet had a decent amount of meat inside and it was tender and seasoned well. The Cheeselet had a considerable amount of cheese. I thought it would be like a sprinkle of melty cheese but you could actually do a cheese pull with this. Both items included a bowl of white rice - super fluffy -, miso soup, and katsu dipping sauce. We could also get refills of the rice and miso soup. I enjoyed my meal at The Pork Let and had enough for lunch leftovers the next day. It's no Honolulu Katsu but satisfied my cravings enough. I will note that gratuity is included automatically before the cashier shows the final price and shows the tip screen before you pay with a card. If you don't catch this, you may double tip. I only noticed because after food items were added, the total jumped up almost $10. I don't mind an automatically added gratuity but I would like to be told upfront about this.

This was such a nice experience. Open restaurant seating, area to order through a digital screen, and friendly service. The restaurant logo was neat too! We were told that the owner name is in the spikes of the hedgehog. We had ordered several different dishes to try out and they were still good for some take home reheating. The tornado fried rice with Spam was good. The fried rice had a good season flavor with small pieces of spam. The tomato based sauce surrounding the egg fried rice added a nice creamy flavor to the rice dish. Ordered a half/half as well with a fried chicken and cheeselet. Chicken was crunchy outside and tender inside. Delicious with the dipping sauce. The cheeselet mozzarella was gooey inside a crunchy pork breading. All tasted great. The side with the corn and slaw was ok...didn't care much for it. In parallel, we ordered side of garlic wings. The wings were perfect to the crisp, but definitely lacking flavor. Couldn't tell what flavor it was trying to go for. Overall, it's a great place to try out cheeselet and experience a tornado fried rice. Plenty of options for a group too!

Food was pretty solid here, clean space and the staff working were very friendly! Tried the tornado rice and the "cheeselet" and both were very comforting/satisfying dishes. A tad bit pricey for what it was, but tasty nonetheless. The sauce on the tornado rice really upped the entire dish. As for the cheeselet, very scrumptious but I wish they had other sides instead of just the Mac salad and cabbage with mayo, both of which just made the dish feel a bit heavy as a whole. The miso soup was also just a tad bland for my taste. Overall very good though, would come back for another quick fix!

This place is mainly for takeout since the inside is pretty basic. That said...the food here is best served fresh and not takeout! I got the porklet and it was a ton of food for the price! It was perfectly cooked and even came with a side of rice and miso soup! My wife got the Udon and I highly recommend ppl stay with the porklet, chicken let, or cheeselet as that's their specialty.

One of my favorite things in the world is having Tonkatsu in Japan. I have yet to find anything in The US remotely similar that compares. This compares!! Highly recommend!

Came here for lunch one day during our trip to Colorado and it was one of our favorite meals! The restaurant was very clean upon entry. The menu was easy to read. We got some fried chicken and udon, also got the porklet, half cheeselet but I didn't get a photo. All the dishes were really tasty. The pork was fried perfectly with a beautiful crisp bite and not too heavy. The chicken was also fried perfectly and the batter was too thick so you really get the chicken as you eat them. Chicken was also very juicy and tender so I was able to give some to my baby to try too. Udon was very light and creamy so you didn't feel too full after eating it. We enjoyed everything we got. The lady who was working in the front was very nice. She came to check in with us occasionally to see if we need anything. We really enjoyed our visit and definitely recommended it to our friends who actually live in Colorado to check this place out when they need a meal idea haha.

    Sweet chili wings gone yummy

The food was fantastic and delicious. The tornado fried rice with gravy stole the show with bacon and spam added. The gooey cheese was awesome as well. The crispy sweet chili wings just melted In my mouth. We ordered a lot of food and was supposed to have left overs. But that was whole lot of no and it was so delicious. The service was great the owner and cook was great. They were having some technical problems. But the ambiance was great for us because we ordered online.

I can't wait to come back and try the pork cutlets as they all looked really good especially the cheese filled one my friend ordered. I, on the other hand, could not NOT get the Tornado Fried Rice. It's fried rice in an omelette! But not American style omelette. The egg wrap was done so delicately it's all wrinkled up due to how thin it is. Almost like a crepe. The fried rice inside was pretty tasty too. Nothing can go wrong with their sauces. I don't even care if this is Japanese or Korean, just get it, so yummy and worth it! If you have toddlers, watch their back though as the chairs here are just stools without any back. My friend's son leaned backwards and fell. Nothing a few yummy fried dumplings can't fix though.

Fast casual katsu forward spot, with k fried chicken and tornado fried rice and some ttboki. Delicious! Love this place. A comfort food type restaurant. A cool addition to the Asian food scene. Service is great, everyone was friendly. The food took a minute to arrive but it was worth the wait. Must try if you love katsu!

Been wanting to come here for a while and today was the day! We ordered tornado fried rice, the pork let plate and shrimp tempura. Everything was delicious! The kiddo ate up the crispy shrimp tempura and our fried rice was flavorful and a good sized portion that paired well with the crispy porklet. Service was fast and friendly and the ambiance was simple and welcoming!

Brought to you by the adventures of CHEF BIG HOUSE !!! ‍As a culinary expert, I found the mozzarella cheese wrapped in a pork cutlet to be quite satisfying, with the Panko crust adding a delightful crunch. The accompanying shredded cabbage and dressing were also enjoyable. The miso soup met expectations. Notably, refills were offered for all side dishes. The tornado egg over fried rice was impressive, particularly with the option to choose bacon instead of spam. The presentation was exceptional. I would rate this establishment 4 out of 5, with the only suggestion being a slight enhancement of flavors. The ingredients were fresh, and the service was prompt, although only bottled drinks were available. with no option of fresh ice for drinks only a cold water from fountain.

Such yummy food, I wouldn't let the name of the restaurant deter you, they have non pork options and they are delicious! The price also makes sense for what you're getting. Very nice establishment and great service.

Unfortunately despite having enjoyed their menu in the past, I DO NOT recommend anyone come here; if you do ask for a paper receipt and pay in cash to ensure you're not being overcharged. ((Full Details Below)) We loved this location due to the delicious chicken and fries, but have not been here in over a year since the new management. We ordered a whole chicken (10 pieces of chicken variety $28.99 with 2 sauces +$1 each sauce, Large Fries $7.99 + $1.00 for flavor rub, and one soft drink $2.99). The menu is slightly different than from what we remember so we asked for advice, one of the sauces came recommended by the waitress. Note that we already knew the price range and already expected to drop $45-60 for two people, including the tip. We get our food, 5 one sauce 5 another sauce, strongly disliked one of the flavors, we couldn't eat it. Ate the other 5 pieces, it was delicious. We ask if it was possible to switch the 5 pieces of chicken for another flavor, they said since they cannot take the chicken back to the kitchen they won't/cannot switch them with a different flavor, but if we place another order of chicken they will give us 20% off. We decline, we'll just eat the 5 pieces we did like and leave the ones we didn't. Oh well right? That's life. Waitress comes back and says they will give us a discount on the chicken. That's nice of them, thank you! She comes while i'm still munching with an electronic pay pad, no itemized receipt like at other restaurants, points the machine to my fiance to tap his card. Total is $47.something she says, I tell her i'm paying cash so please bring us a paper receipt. She leaves, my fiance comments "that seems high" me, i didn't notice at all. Waitress comes back with the paper receipt and we begin doing our own calculations. I notice that they charged us for two half chickens (16.99 each) instead of what we ordered which was a whole chicken with 2 sauces ($28.99, $1 each sauce = $30.99) That's a $3 dollar difference, in which we are overpaying by $3 than what we had originally ordered. Waitress tries to explain to us that they removed our original order to discount the chicken, but that still doesn't reason why they are charging us for TWO half chickens instead of just discounting off the whole chicken order we originally place. She says it's because it's one sauce so half of the chicken, so half chicken charge. Then we tell her that even with the discount, the way they are charging us for two half chickens cancels out the discount and we are still overpaying at the end compared to our original order. We tell them to remove their discount, we don't want it and to charge us for the whole chicken that we had ordered originally. Waitress goes back to talk to the manager and then comes back and "corrects" the problem giving us a 50% on one of the half chicken orders. This time we weren't overpaying, but they still never corrected the order to reflect our original whole chicken order, keeping the two half chicken orders. At the end if we hadn't noticed we would have left overpaying for a meal we didn't enjoy. The part that is most upsetting is that we were not rude to anyone, just told them we disliked the sauce, accepted when they said they wouldn't switch it out, we didn't ask for a discount, they offered it. Note we still tipped after this. I don't know if this was done on purpose but what I can say is that we felt deceived, we will not be coming here despite this being a staple food spot for our relationship. Very sad.
