Stopped in this cute place for a quick bite. Very friendly staff with several items on the menu that were tempting. Husband went with 1/4 chicken that came with beans, rice and tortillas. It was a lot of food (he said), but didn't have any trouble finishing it! The chicken was over-the-top fantastic. I had the bowl (you create it) with chicken, lettuce, rice, beans, tomato salsa, sour cream. Fabulous. And so much food I brought home the rest for tomorrow. Absolute gas, like chipotle but the tortillas are homemade and the food is authentic. Best Mexican food in the area tbh. Burritos are massive, flautus are crunchy and delicious, and Dori nachos are huge and loaded with toppings. Good prices, great portions, great ingredients with tons of flavor and great service! Maybe I should be ashamed to say this but I've never had flautas before yesterday. I didn't even know what they were. Flautas were on the menu at Pinche Pollo so I decided to give them a try. Wow! I'm addicted! They were crispy and crunchy and smothered in all kinds of guacamole goodness. Everything was fresh! Everything was hot and delicious! But that isn't even the best part! I wanted to try the steak quesadillas. Wow! The portion sizes were huge, the steak was very tasty and the cheese was, well, cheesy. That also isn't the best part! I went two days in a row to this place because I wanted to try more food, but mostly because I wanted to dry their other drink flavor. As amazing as the food is, the drinks are unbeatable! The limon drink is addictive! Get the large or be sad that you didn't get the large- your choice. The mango is so fresh, with the right amount of sweetness and complete freshness. My wife and I stumbled upon Pinche Pollo. I have avoided it for a while because it is in an unimpressive strip mall and I rarely get excited about chicken. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It was aesthetically pleasing, and strikingly clean. My wife and I ordered an asada huarache and a chicken huarache. The masa was formed to order, all of the food was fresh, and the grilling chicken was enticing (remember, I am not really all that into chicken). The food was amazing! It came out quickly, but not rushed. The salsas were fantastic, and the guacamole was the perfect accompaniment. We all know that the best Mexican food seems to come from 'hole in the wall' restaurants, the downside being that the quality of food is a gamble when trying out a new place. I am happy to report that the quality of the food was top notch. Good food, good service, good ambience, the perfect local lunch. read more

This restaurant is a delight. From the sweet and caring service to the delicious, fresh and authentic food it hits all the marks. I saw this establishments high rating while searching for a place to grab lunch near my parents house and it totally deserves it. My toddler and my father joined us in our first visit. The cashier was incredibly helpful and when my son ordered a plain quesadilla despite me encouraging him to try the chicken she included two pieces just to let him enjoy a "try it" bite. She explained this is a family owned establishment with their own recipes. I ordered a smothered chicken burrito and it was scrumptious. Their chicken is seasoned wonderfully and they have perfectly cooked rice. I devoured every bite. My dad got the tacos and they make their own shells fresh. The tacos were a delicious bite as well and everything meshed perfectly inside. I want to come back and try their other meats! Everything just felt right. Ordered from this place last night after seeing it open up replacing my favorite pizza place. So we ordered. The chicken flautas were over cooked, the chicken was crunchy, not bad on the home made tortilla touch. The presentation of the flautas was great, i wish I had ordered it but once I tried a bite, I was glad I didn't. I did order a chicken smothered burrito. The portion was huge. I was disappointed the guacamole lacked flavor (it was fresh and looked very good), the rice was good, the sauce was good but the chicken was over cut. I hardly tasted it. If they could leave chunks of chicken, it would be great. Lastly, I was disappointed but I did order desert for a double dash. If Pinche Pollo could add $3.00 and add a scoop of ice cream to the meal, i would rate this place 5 stars. The ice cream i got from sonics made a huge difference in the overall experience. I think I maybe will try it again but not 100% sure. read more
