side of Fried Okra, 11 pieces!!!

really yummy food, my only complaint is the okra, just beware that if you order a side of okra you will receive 11 pieces! other than that, very pleasant experience.

Really great bbq! The sauces are some of my favorites. The service was quick and friendly. It's convenient that it's located next to a brewery so you could get some drinks and food easily. We will definitely come back and try their other options. The brisket was what I had and really enjoyed.

I used to live in Texas and those baked beans were to die for along with the BBQ which was a mix of sweet and spicy. My boyfriend got the chicken which was so tender and rich in flavor too! He also got the potato salad which was fantastic. We also shared the loaded fries! Which were great. That toast was SO GOOD- crispy, buttery, melt in your mouth good. The Mac n cheese I would say was our least favorite, it was good, but I would definitely go for the beans or potato salad for the sides. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and we may have found our new place. ALSO, so cute you can play cornhole or connect for while waiting :) People: very friendly and nice.

The beans tasted exactly like Bushes from a can. The Mac n cheese was cold, dry and had no cheese on it... it was basically buttered noodles. I hope this was just an off day, however Colorado isn't known for having the best BBQ out there. Very disappointed. Not a good meal at all and I feel like I wasted money. I am giving 2 stars because the gentleman assisting was very friendly. When I asked for a recommendation for a side, he hesitated and didn't sound too sure of his answer.

A quick google search for "dog friendly patios" led us here - and boy howdy I am sooooo glad it did! I love good smoked meats and Rusty Tapp hit the nail square on the head. Everything we had was fantastic, including the service. When the server asked if we wanted pup cups for the dogs, of course we said yes, but were so surprised to see that the dogs got to enjoy a little cup of plain smoked brisket. They each gave the pup cups 5 stars. We have a friend who is celiac, so we frequently as about gluten free options anywhere we go. Our server gave a very detailed and precise answer about the menu, what was available, and mentioned the shared fryer which was so appreciated and makes it easier for our friend to feel more comfortable trying a new place. The patio is couple of tables out front, but the traffic wasn't busy, it's not loud, and we had a nice night out. We've added this spot to our list of places to return to!

I'm sure it's pretty tough to make these as tender as they were, but I was very happy with the results. I also had the pulled pork which was juicy and delicious and the brisket, which is always great. What may have impressed me the most was the grits. I also highly recommend going there on a weekend to get their three dollar Sammie. Don't think you'll beat that price anywhere for a solid amount of meat.

The employee taking orders didn't know much about the sides (when my friend asked about the beans he just showed them to him instead of explaining what they have in them or if he likes them). I asked about the grits and another employee had to chime in that they were good. We both ordered the combo which includes a drink and side. We waited for a while for our food and went in after a while to see if everything was ready. They seemed flustered and told us the food would be right out. Granted there were a few people ahead of us but less than 5 total. The real McCoy sandwich was REAL dry. It comes with burnt ends and the bison green Chile and cheddar sausage (used to have pork as well) and their regular or buffalo sauce helped but not enough to overcome the dryness of the meats. The andouille & corn grits were fine as well. The sausage gives it a nice pop but the grits were more like potatoes in consistency. The best part was the Boylans ginger ale. Bummed Roaming Buffalo wasn't what I had previously. May come back but with other BBQ options it may be a while.

That's what you expect when you're paying barbecue prices. Sadly, none of that showed up here. The brisket and burnt ends were the biggest disappointment. Instead of having that dark bark and beautiful smoke ring you expect from meat that's been smoked low and slow, everything looked gray and lifeless. There was no smoke flavor, no seasoning, and worst of all, the meat was dry. Not slightly dry, but the kind where you need sauce just to get it down. Burnt ends are usually the highlight of a barbecue meal, crispy outside with juicy, tender meat inside. These were just dry chunks with no caramelization or flavor payoff. The sausage didn't help things either. Overall, nothing about the meal felt homemade or smoked. It felt mass produced and rushed, missing the flavor and texture that make barbecue special in the first place. What made the experience even worse is the price. Spending around $40 on a pound of meat, expecting quality barbecue, and getting dry, bland food instead. For that price, you expect memorable barbecue, not something you regret ordering halfway through the meal. The food was so disappointing that I ended up throwing most of it away and going somewhere else afterward just to get a decent meal. That's something I almost never do, especially after paying premium prices.
