Steakhouse 10 is unassuming. I have passed by many times but never really noticed it. My friend booked a friend's dinner for our group of 7. A reservation especially with a large party is necessary. It has a classic NYC steakhouse feel. The staff is very friendly and not pretentious at all and very attentive. As soon as I finished my soup and entree they cleaned up the tables. I got the Colorado Pear cocktail to start but would not recommend it, very alcohol forward and extremely pear flavor. The wine we got to accompany our entrees was delicious - Argyle Pinot Noir. I got the New York Strip with mashed potatoes. It comes with the option of mashed or baked potato and asparagus. Also, all come with an option of salad or soup to start. They do provide bread for the table. They brought out table two baskets. The butter was that fluffy whipped butter, perfect for the bread and mashed potatoes. I was so full I ended up begging half my steak home. We got three desserts for the table to try - chocolate cake (very rich I could only have a small bite), limoncello cake (sweet but amazing flavor), cheesecake (the best one!).

Steak was the top of the greater Denver area! Service was spectacular and timing of the whole dinner was perfect. The vibe was great, beautiful upstairs - low lit and cozy. We will 100% be back

This is where my boyfriend proposed to me exactly one week ago. The service we received from start to finish was impeccable. From the bartender who took care of us while we waited for our table to be ready to our server who was attentive, kind and a joy to be served by. We come here for special occasions and the boyfriend said he has coming here since he was young with his family. It's personal intimate and the food is out of this world. Thank you for making this such a great place for us and we'll be back again soon.

Went there for our anniversary last week this is a go to place for us for special occasions. It did NOt disappoint!! Wonderful as always. The family cheese is always fun. Steaks high quality and perfectly cooked. Bisque go die for and the perfectly sugar encrusted crème brutlee!!! Perfection!! Wish they maybe had a couple other beers but such a minor point!! Also soup or salad and sides are included so though it's on the pricey side it's a much better value than the big name steak houses

A wonderful evening with great friends, excellent food, wine, and service. A good old fashioned solid steak house with amazing appetizer selections and signature cocktails.

The ambiance of this place was really nice and romantic. Very dark but had candles on each table. Definitely an intimate place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. The service here was great, we made a reservation and was seated promptly. The water and bread came super quickly as well and our server was able to get to us in a timely manner. The people here were super nice!! The bread was good and warm and they offered us more bread after we finished our first basket. The crabcake was good as well, with a lemony aioli sauce. Nothing crazy, I think it tasted like a very generic crab cake. The steaks were both cooked perfectly. We asked for medium rare and it was the perfect medium rare, slightly on the rarer side but it didn't bother me and this made it so that my leftover steak was still good after reheating. The peppercorn sauce that came with the steak was good as well, nothing too salty or too decadent. It balanced perfectly well. The surf and turf was good as well, but I dont think it is worth the money because they lobster is plain and it comes with butter. The mashed potatoe was not super heavy either, and slightly salty for my liking. I think the baked potato was slightly better. The asparagus was a great side, it wasn't too salty either. I think the portion size of the steak made the priceline slightly better. It was a hugeeee piece. The steak that comes with the surf and turf is a more manageable portion. Overall, I think this is a good place for special occasions. The meat is cooked super well and the sides are just okay.

This is my favorite Greek salad in all of Denver! Loads of fresh chopped veggies, delicious grilled chicken, warm pita bread, and authentic olive oil dressing. So much flavor in one bowl. It is such a good combination.

What a fantastic Greek steakhouse that feels like a family dinner. I had the green chili covered burger and the green chili was SO GOOD!!! My girlfriend had the Gyro plate it was a healthy portion with some great shaved meat. I think there were two different kinds and they were both awesome. We also got the cheese plate that had quite the FIRE presentation. The restaurant also took care of me on my birthday and brought out a very nice piece of red velvet birthday cake. So glad that I finally got to try this place and highly recommend checking them out for lunch!!

Great looking restaurant right when you enter. The atmosphere is very nostalgic and the dim lighting sets the mood. We ended up deciding this location for our 22nd Anniversary. " no special requests " and the staff did not disappoint. Chris was our server and he was on point from the start was always available but never overwhelming. We appreciated that he was good and always on point. My wife ordered the special 7oz filet Oscar style and it was delicious at least that what she said never got a chance to taste! I ended up with the 14oz Peppercorn NY and man was it big by the end I had to even get a box. All in I give this spot a five star food, Service and ambiance were all on point. We will be back and highly recommend easily competes with the other high level steak restaurants in the area. Great job Steakhouse 10 Team

I was very skeptical at that point if I was going to really like this place. Next, we got seated quite quickly although there were 5 couples ahead of us. All the staff members I encountered were very friendly, nice and attentive which was a huge plus, especially considering how busy it was that day. We ordered our food and noticed they had very good prices and cheaper than our go-to seafood boil place so that's a win! The food came out hot, our server emptied out the bags for us which was very nice. I ordered the shrimp with head on xxtra hot and It was the perfect spice level for my latina taste buds, absolutely loved it even with just the garlic butter sauce. My husband got snow crab and he was very pleased with how tasty and easy it was to crack them open and get the crab out. Overall, I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant. It was delicious and cooked perfectly! I am excited to try out their other sauces and look forward to it!

Coming from Illinois we had a quite a few of these types of places near where we lived, but we don't have a lot of Cajun seafood here in Colorado. I was very happy to find something that wasn't terribly far from home, was clean, and the food was delicious! If I can give any critique, I wish the shrimp was just a little fresher. I'm guessing it was frozen however nothing was past its prime and we ate every bite!

The restaurant wasn't very busy when we arrived, and we requested outdoor seating. The hostess was very accommodating, quickly putting two tables together so we could sit outside in the shade on a beautiful Denver evening. The Alaska-inspired menu is fairly limited, but several items sounded appealing, especially the Elk Meatloaf. Our order included: * Bethel Brussels Sprouts ($12) * Elk River Meatloaf ($24) * Seward Caesar with chicken ($15) * Kids Fish & Chips ($9) Let's start with the positives. Service was very good throughout the meal, and our waitress was friendly and accommodating. The Brussels sprouts were a hit with the table -- flavorful and well prepared. The fries served with the fish & chips were hot, crispy. And the dinners were all generously portioned. Unfortunately, the rest of the food ranged from mediocre to disappointing. We were especially looking forward to the elk meatloaf, but both orders arrived extremely dry. The mashed potatoes and gravy were actually quite good, but they couldn't overcome the texture of the meatloaf itself. At least half of each serving was left uneaten. We substituted mixed vegetables for the green beans and found them undercooked, with the carrots still quite hard. The Caesar salad also disappointed, with wilted lettuce, and the fish in the fish & chips was described as bland. The patio itself is pleasant, but it sits directly beside a busy road, so traffic noise can be significant at times. Perhaps we simply ordered the wrong dishes, but given our experience, we were surprised by the restaurant's very high Yelp rating.

I have been visiting…read moreColore since my son was performing in band and orchestra concerts at DU, about 10-15 years now. It is not near my home, so I look for reasons to visit. My latest no-brainer excuse is to indulge in a nice meal prior to concerts from at Swallow Hill Music Center, located across the street from Colore. Last night was one of these nights. Quite the date night for me and my husband--a full meal at Colore and a Face Vocal Band concert at Swallow Hill! Colore has all the traditional American-Italian favorites, including lasagne and other creative pasta dishes (is the pasta homemade? I'm not sure, but it's yum!), chicken parm/picatta/marsala/saltimbocca, steak, fish, it is all very high quality and creative cooking. Pizza and calzones are also available. The prices are incredibly reasonable. Don't forget to glance at the cocktail menu, where they've tailored cocktails to include amaro, Campari, aperol, and limoncello to delicious result. Try the Italian Greyhound with Boulder Spirits gin and aperol, the Black Manhattan with Stranahan's whiskey and amaro, or the Italian margarita with Campari. And the wine list is reasonable, too, with a few high end Italian choices by the bottle, and many options by the glass to keep your budget down for the evening. And sangria? Yes, please! The desserts all have a nice Italian twist, as well. Cannoli, Tiramisu, gelato, and other indulgences. My FAVORITE THING? The garlic knots that come out with every meal, along with olive oil and balsamic for dipping. These are just heavenly, yeasty, soft, unforgettable. There is also always a special or two which we have found to be perhaps the most exciting and delicious on the menu. Last night, my husband ordered the salmon special. This piece of wonderful salmon was stuffed with lump blue crab and spinach, and had a white sauce with fennel and I forget what else, which was simply heaven. It was placed on a dollop of polenta. He ate every last bite. I opted for the vegetable lasagne, which didn't disappoint. A three-inch cube of lasagne, covered in their homemade marinara, with all the veggies--spinach, broccoli, artichoke, mushroom, zucchini. And of course, the requisite ricotta and mozzarella/parm layers. When we were sufficiently stuffed, we decided to share a dessert. Given the nice spring weather, we were drawn to the carrot cake with pineapple, walnuts, and berries, and a scoop of pistachio gelato. This carrot cake was a little two-layer individual round tower; they layer filled with pineapple sweetness and topped with a walnut cream. Strawberries and whip on the side made it feel healthy (lol). The pistachio gelato was the perfect accompaniment (we always need ice cream, right?), with little crunchy pistachios mixed in, as one would hope it would have. Our server was bubbly, very nice, and efficient. It was a great meal. I should also mention that they have takeout. How great would that be to have in your neighborhood? I noticed when I went online to make reservations, that Colore has just opened a Littleton location. I would like to submit a request--next location opening--Downtown Golden! That's my town, and I would love to have Colore take-out every week. And date night even more often. If no luck with getting a location in Golden, I will continue to keep my eye out for Face Vocal Band concerts at Swallow Hill, so that I have a great excuse to make my way down to South Broadway for a wonderful meal at Colore.
