Had dinner here recently with friends, a small eatery thats very busy. A small francise restaurant with an Alaskan theme. Greeted after a couple minutes, sat by a window with a moose head overhead. Mason jar water glasses, rustic with wood and stone interior. Chips with blue cheese and bacon appetizer was a good start and a twist on chips n salsa. The menu is concise and covers all the bases for most palettes. After giving the menu a good read, I opted for the Elk Meatloaf with gravy over mashed and green beans with bacon. This is a good meal, flavorful, hearty and filling. The meatloaf is rich and fairly mild for Elk and a nice serving. 4 Stars a good choice for dinner or lunch 00995

This place specializes in Alaskan food and drink. We each had one of the IPAs. I loved the hazy and he loved the more hoppy one. Service was great and the place had a nice Northwoods feel even though it's in a kind of strip mall. I had the special, halibut fish and chips. The batter was great, very light. The fish may have been a bit overcooked, but it was decent. The French fries were so good, lightly seasoned, super crispy and very hot. My husband had the salmon entree. It had a nice glaze and sautéed veggies. Recommend both.

Just went for some beer, wings and fries. All were good. Loved the Alaskan beer choices, we had a red, white and IPA. All were very good and you can get a 16 or 24 ozer. Also tried the grilled cheese sandwich that had 3 cheeses including brie. Gotta go back and try the burger and salmon fish n chips.

This is an interesting little spot at the end of this little shopping center, so it can be hard to get to. It's worth the trouble, though. I had the Shepherds Pie. It's not unheard of to see elk on the menu, but this Alaska themed bar didn't disappoint. It's a deconstructed "build your own bite" with a dollop of mashed potatoes in the middle of the meat. A neighbor asked "how's the chili?" I am not a massive fan of potatoes and excess carbs so that's fine for me. And for $15 it's plenty of food for two people. Do yourself a favor and find this little spot and get the elk.

I believe we went to the bar in another part of Littleton years ago. But this place opened up in the space which used to be The Lost Cajun, on the corner of Santa Fe and Prince in Littleton. We came in for a drink to try out the new place. It was busy, so we sat at the bar. I couldn't see the beers, so I asked the bartender what beers they had. He pointed at the taps. He was rude and had a bad attitude. He rattled off the beers and I said I'd take the Left Hand. IPA. He said, "No, you won't. That's not an IPA." The beer has left a better taste in my mouth than the experience. Thanks to this guy, I'd rather walk three blocks in the other direction and go to Denver Beer Conpany. There are a lot of places in Littleton to support, and I'd rather go to a place that appreciates their customers.

I was looking for a new naborhood restaurant and I think I found one! The Cod and Chips along with the service was excellent! Thx Adrian

    Dill Pickle Burger and Fries

I really enjoyed this little place! It wasn't crowded and the lighting was nice and chill. The dill pickle burger was insane and the wings are perfectly smoked and prepared. I had the featured flavor which was like thai? and then the cajun dry. they were so good and the blue cheese dip had a pile of blue cheese added to it. the white beer was nice and the duck fart made me giggle. I had an incredible time just watching my show on my phone and having my little celebration dinner. The bartender was super helpful and patient with me and when I finally decided on the burger, she reassured me it's good (and she was so right). I've wanted to try this place for so long and now I can't wait to go back for the crab dip and salmon fish n chips.

The food was really good, better than expected, but the service was so slow. I felt bad that there was only one person working when we were there. They need more people than just the bartender serving. I appreciated that they had a few low tables to sit at, since mostly all are big tops. I'll go back for the food and hope the service is better.

Everything was great! The fish sandwich was fresh and the fries were *chef's kiss* delicious!

Well that's how I felt this morning, so VinaMeals was where I ended. I ordered two items, so join me and read my food journey... Just had bánh ít tràn, a Vietnamese, steamed sticky rice dumplings dish. This dish reminds me of my mom's cooking where she used to make us this dish all the time to eat for breakfast. Lots ingredients inside the these three dumplings including mung bean, wood ear mushroom, jicama carrot, onion, garlic, minced with pork and shrimp. It came with steamed bean sprouts, cucumber, and fish sauce to dip the dumplings or just pour over the dish. I felt the accommodating items didn't add any value to this dish, but boy, did these dumplings bring back good memory. Of course, when you are here, you have to get their small wonton soup. It is one of the best I have ever eaten. I believe the broth that is the star, and the wontons come very close but just a second too late. This small soup is very filling, and I always wonder if adding a bowl of plain rice into the soup will make this dish a complete meal. We will have to find out later. As I am sitting here writing this review, I am truly enjoying the atmosphere. Listening to the music over my head, I am sing a little bit too loud, louder than mouthing the words. Now only because when I eat something this indulgent, I like to even out by eating raw veggies like carrot sticks, celery or even lettuce with raw garlic, onions, bell peppers and jalapeños. My hubby makes it at home for me like this- no restaurant I've been to ever has, but I picture the veggies with the sauce would be so so good too. We came in on the off season, so crawfish was frozen- and it was actually still pretty good. Of course, I'd like to come back when it's fresh and compare. It's always a treat - it reminds me of Broussard's, the little Cajun/Creole joint in Loveland that closed down many years ago and was my introduction to the more home-y style of this cuisine. My most recent visit was this past weekend, a Saturday night dinner with judges and club members for the event I was participating in. We sat on the patio, which made for catching some nice evening breezes after being out in the unseasonal, record-breaking heat for the day. Service was a little spotty - friendly, but orders a bit mixed up and plates brought out 2 at a time with significant gaps in-between (which meant it took a while for our party of 7, and I happened to be the last person served). I will say this is unusual, so I'm not sure if it was a new server or if was particularly busy in the kitchen. It may be that since it is not the norm it was all the more noticeable? In any case, I always enjoy the food. This weekend I had the Crawfish Monica served over rice. I'd say that the Monica sauce is more creamy than spicy, which suits me just fine since my spice tolerance has waned as I've gotten older. It came with a house salad on the side - perfect for some relief from the rich, creamy sauce. I will say that the dinner portion is enough for 2 or 3 meals - sadly I forgot my leftovers in the hotel fridge (an all too common occurence).

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.
