Don't judge me, I had lots of leftovers, lol. My favorite from the bounty was Brad's special beans, green chili and brisket. Go check them out and have a beer next door!

I'm sad to say that I agree with other reviews about the blandness. I typically fall into the category of "bbq sauce should NOT be a requisite for taste". And sadly, there was no other choice. And both meats were dry. Like forgot-the-turkey-was-in-the-oven-for-hours dry. I mentioned the 5:20 weekday time frame in case it was leftover from the lunch crowd. Mrs had the quesadilla. Everyone working in the restaurant went out of their way to come check on us during our visit. They were genuinely grateful for everyone who came in and made sure they expressed it! They just got a second smoker and apparently neither one ever gets cold. Even with that, we came at 5:45 in a Saturday evening and several meats were already sold out. Excellent stop! Highly recommend. It's hard to find good BBQ in Denver. But this one competes with some good BBQ I have had around the country.

The meh part was some of the food. We ordered the 3 meat 2 side Combo: - The green beans were mush and no seasoning. - The mac'n'cheese with the bacon was actually delicious. We might come back for that alone. We added the sausage hotlinks and they were delicious also. - Corn bread was soggy - The meats: we tried the chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. The meats were good but not seasoned. What if I didn't want to slather the bbq sauce on? I just wanted a little salt. And we took our food to go on a picnic so had no access to salt. Overall, it's an ok place. Maybe they're going through growing pains. I'll give them another try when I'm in the area. Be forewarned: their door automatically slams shut, so when I was walking out pushing the door with my shoulder bc my hands were full it slammed closed super quickly. On my foot. We decided to stop by and most people were ordering very large orders for takeout, but they have a good number of tables both inside and outside. The food takes a while to come, but that just means that it is all freshly prepared, and the staff are so nice and even give free samples. I went with the Kids meal brisket with the Potato salad and added a Sweet potato with the candied pecan butter. I seriously have no words -- all of these things were so delicious, and the amount of meat that you get even with the kids meal is more than enough to fill me up, especially with the rich sweet potato and potato salad on the side.
