I decided to have a cup of egg drop soup before I shopped in H Mart. It's my motto never shop hungry lol. This was some of the best egg drop soup I have had in a long time. So many wonderful flavors, including white pepper, which I love. This is not a spicy soup just very flavorful and rich. The nice lady that took my order and brought me the soup was very quick with taking my order and getting me my soup. My thanks to her I was hungry ! This is a small restaurant tucked to the right inside HMart next to produce. They have plenty of seats for small and larger parties. I saw several people eating alone as well. Staff is friendly and food comes out quite quick. The Jajamyeon was probably my favorite thing on the menu. It's not the best I've had in Colorado but if you're up north and craving some, this is a solid spot. They don't have peas in it which is pretty nice. The sesame chicken and sweet and sour pork were good but too much breading for my liking. Wings seem plain but they're quite salty. I like them but it's a toss up. read more

The space: Small sit-down area between the hmart entrance and bakery. The service: Polite and quick. Order and pay upfront and seat yourself. They bring it to your table when it's ready. Two Sticks Cafe is situated conveniently in H-Mart to the right as you walk through the entrance as you can stop for food either before or after you grocery shop. The woman at the front counter was nice, the place was clean and there is free self serve hot tea, however I wasn't impressed by the food at all. I placed a to-go order the other day for the spicy hot fried chicken and a beef broccoli. The beef broccoli was fairly standard and tasted okay. The problem was the spicy hot fried chicken dish left my husband and I confused as to what we were eating. The "fried" batter almost had a tempura batter like look, was soggy from the car ride home, and we couldn't find any clear piece of significant meat in it. The dish tasted very indistinguishable and wasn't very spicy or satisfying in any way, which is unfortunate. Even eating the leftovers later in the day was unappealing. For the experience of having to wait 20+ min for extremely mediocre food that cost me almost $30, I'm disappointed and won't be going back again. I'm sure Two Sticks probably has some good options, but I would be hesitant to try this restaurant again after this bad first impression. read more

This place is one of my favorite Chinese noodle places in Colorado. They get it right every single time. I'm also a big fan of the self-serving for water and tea. Below are some tips to make your experience top notch. If ordering Jja Jang Myun, ask for a pair of scissors as the noodles are pretty long. Also add a bit of the red chili flakes on the table to it for a nice kick. The chili flakes are very spicy though so be careful. If ordering golden fry pork with sweet and sour sauce, ask for the sauce on the side so the fried pork does not get soggy. read more

My favorite spot for mapo tofu dish, I think they call it the spicy pork with tofu. The tofu so tender and the minced pork was well seasoned. The sauce was tasty and goes so well over rice. The eatery is a little bit confusing as when you walked in you can grab a table but this is not a full service restaurant so don't forget to go up to order at the counter. The lady working there is never a woman of many words and sometimes she looks like she rather be somewhere else other than work, she's nice in her own way. Grab your own water/hot barley tea after ordering. We ordered broccoli beef, the spicy pork with tofu, jiajianmian, and some fried pork dumpling appetizer. Everything was delicious and def will be back, this is more of a Chinese Korean restaurant and not just Chinese American restaurant so some food might be a little different. I love this Chinese place! This is my go to take out spot and I enjoy the staff as well. They are very helpful.

I have to be honest, I used to love this place but since the new owners took over, it's not what it used to be. My favorite hot and spicy garlic chicken dish used to be flavorful and complex but now it just tastes like pure vinegar and it's always overcooked. We started requesting more garlic and more ginger and that helped a little but still the vinegar taste overpowers everything. The combination fried rice lacks the umami quality it used to have. I'm very disappointed that the new owner didn't keep the recipes the same. This used to be the place we had all of our family get togethers at but it won't be anymore. Very sad! read more

Ordered Chinese food about 100 times and this is the first place that has given me fried rice ($3 more) that isnt fried rice. No delivery, $25 for lots of food is a great deal, but the sesame chicken was just okay, and the seafood soup was a huge container but only three shrimp. I came here back in August 2021, where I ordered the seafood udon soup. It was par. It had bell peppers in it and it didn't use the traditional udon broth, but it was still edible. I came here yesterday (3/24/23), where I ordered two vegetable egg rolls (spring rolls) and hot & spicy squid. This meal was far better. I found the squid stir-fry to be quite good, and it's the only Asian restaurant in Colorado I've been to where I can order squid. It's actually one of my favorite types of shellfish. You can also get free tea again. The service is quick and it has a nice dining area. I'd recommend trying this place if someone shops at H Mart. read more

Spicy seafood soup and dry noodle seafood chajangmun were the bomb and very reasonable priced

It was a very disappointing and humiliating experience. My mom was craving Chinese-Korean food and instead of our usual place, Yong Gung, in Aurora, we decided to eat at this cafe since we already were at this hmart location. We're Korean so it's a consistent craving we have every couple months. We knew the food wasn't great but I figured it was even more bleh because the pandemic was taking it's toll on small biz owners. I come from a small family of biz owners so I try to give a lot of slack. When we first came in, it was busy so we stood and waited. Another regular customer came in behind us and though the owner lady had seen my mom and I, she decided to greet and get her regular customer's order. That customer ordered and left to say she was getting groceries. My mom and I didn't make a fuss of it. We ordered after then tried to sit at a corner table. The owner lady told us we couldn't because it was the regular customer's table. THIS is when I should've left. Again, we didn't want to make a fuss so we left the empty table and chose another one. She sat us down at a large circle table for 5 to that was dirty. She took a very dirty smelling rag, wiped off the table yet didn't dry it so my mom and I got some paper napkins to clean the nasty old towel, water smell off. I felt terrible to my mom. She's been cooped up and I finally took her out for a meal that we can't always afford to get then we get this crap experience. $40 to be treated like crap and given very underwhelming food. After 10min, my black bean noodles came out. I decided to share some w my mom cause her food hadn't come out. 7min later, our sweet and sour pork came out. After we finished both dishes, my mom finally got her jjampong. Honestly, we tried to brush it off but the final cherry on top was when the owner lady plopped the jjampong on our table without even a fake apology about how late it was. She dropped it and left. Halfway through our meal, another group of regular customers came in and she began chatting up a storm even though it was busy. The food was terrible. The service was terrible. We laughed it off. It hurt to waste $40 during such a rough economic time in my life and seeing the lack of decency from a service point of view was definitely enough reason to not return to this establishment. Yong gung in Aurora has much more welcoming service and I love their combo which is jjampong, black bean noodles, and sweet and sour pork for $39.99. It's so much more authentic and delicious. You also don't have to feel bad while eating. Unfortunately, some Asians feel like it's normal to get crap service at Asian food spots that are delicious but that's a thing of the past. If I'm paying restaurant prices, I want to be treated decently and get decent food. read more

Orange chicken plate: chicken was battered just like the tansuyuk (not too heavy) and good orange flavor. Would get again! Woolmyun, (seafood egg noodle soup). Lots of seafood including octopus, oysters, shrimp, scallops, and veggies included Bok Choy, brócoli, cucumber, peppers, shiitake and Woodear mushrooms. It is a great comfort food spot and my favorites are the jajamyeon and their mapo tofu. The Jajamyeon is Korean style and very satisfying for carb cravings. The Mapo tofu is not Szechuan style but more like Korean/Japanese-style mapo tofu: super good as the portion is huge. Definitely a great place to visit for some home-style cooking. read more

I ran into this restaurant when shopping at H-Mart. It is ran by an older Asian couple that do the food right. I have been several times now and my favorite dish is their seafood stew. So many beautiful seafood things in that stew - white fish, calamari, clams, oysters and so many more for around 10 bucks. I figured I couldn't even make the dish for the price and it was so awesome! I love mom and pop joints and this is the quintessential definition of a Mom and Pop restaurant. I look forward now to going to this place whenever I am in the area! The neat thing about this restaurant it that's located inside H-Mart next to the bakery. I was beyond impressed how clean and fresh smelling the market was...I enjoyed walking around and looking at all the interesting items they sell. Now for the food. We ordered: - Chicken w/ Vegetables - Beef Bulgogi The ingredients in both dishes appeared and tasted very fresh. The Chicken with Vegetables was very good and came with a good serving of chicken and vegetables. It was seasoned very well, I did think it needed a tad more salt. The Beed Bulgogi was AWESOME! I spent a year in Korea and this reminded me of the food I used to eat all the time at local restaurants. I look forward to trying some noodle dishes next time. Some of the freshest noodles I've had in a long time! We got two entrees, two noodle dishes and cream cheese wontons and I couldn't pick a favorite. Each dish was more flavorful than the last. The pork jajamyeon noodles were so long, clearly homemade fresh. The sweet and sour chicken came with the sauce on the side so it wouldn't get soggy on the ride home and it was flavorful and tender and crispy all at once. The wontons were a little on the sweet side and FILLED with cream cheese- my toddler and 4 year old ate them up. We will be back sooner rather than later, a must try if you're nearby! read more

Embedded within a giant H Mart Supermarket, Two Sticks Cafe is a bustling little fast-casual eatery that delivers a lot of value for your money. My husband and I were there around 2pm on a Saturday and every table was filled! If you are eating at the restaurant and not taking out, find yourself an empty table and the waitstaff will come by to take your order. You can also help yourself to free hot tea (!!! yass !!!) and water at the beverage station. I know that everyone had already warned in their review that the portions are huge, but I just couldn't help myself and we ordered several dishes of food. The spring rolls are on the manageable side (4 small size rolls), but items like the fried dumplings are enough to be an appetizer for a family of four! The entrees served with rice are enormous. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken based on the recommendations here - it was served on a double-wide plate - TONS of food. My husband got the black bean noodle dish (dry version) which comes with a giant bowl of noodles and a separate bowl full of the delicious sauce w/ seafood. Two Sticks delivers on being reasonably priced food that is tasty and is a lot of food for your money. Would definitely recommend. We were craving all the foods you see in korean drams and Two Sticks Cafe fit the bill: jjajangmyeon, tangsooyook, and jjamppong. The jjajangmyeon was okay, but most jjajangmyeon dishes aren't memorable. The batter on the tangsooyook was light and airy, but sauce was a tad too sweet for me. The dish that surprised me the most was the jjamppong. The broth was very flavorful and not too spicy. There were huge chunks of seafood and a couple of big mussel shells. Overall, the restaurant had a steady stream of customers placing orders to either eat inside the mini cafe or for take out. If I were to go back, I would definitely re-order the jjamppong. read more

Not too spicy, but I'm probably not the best judge for spice level...I eat jalapeños like chips...Hubs went for the beef fried rice, a solid choice that was equally as flavorful. The portions are very generous so plan on having left overs. Price wise it's fairly reasonable and the hot tea is free so we made sure we had at least a few cups. This cafe is inside the H Mart store, beside the bakery. I thought of this place more of a convenient place to stop off for food, instead of holding it to 'restaurant quality' place. If you put it in that aspect, you won't be disappointed. What I swallowed: BEEF BULGOGI OVER RICE: I am not sure if this is really beef bulgogi but it was nicely shredded beef with bits of onion and squash and it had a really good flavor. The portions were huge and it was well cooked with good flavors. Some darn good food! The rice is a HUGE portion! I got the combination rice. There's no way I'd finish it in one sitting. There A Lot of shrimps, chicken, and beef. There's also a lot of egg throughout. And there's plenty of veggies which is nice. The cheese wantons have only cream cheese in them. Back in Florida they all are crab and cheese rangoons, lol. So I had assumed that there would be crab. If you take a bite with a piece of shrimp it's almost the same. They are really good regardless. It comes with this light sweet sauce. I didn't think to ask for some sweet and sour. I think that's the best. This spot is inside the H Mart across from the Walmart plaza. They also have a tea place, a liquor store, and a shoe store! If you haven't been to the H Mart, check it out! Since they are their own grocery store there is private parking. I have never had an issue with finding close parking. The Cafe is closed every Tuesday I found that out the hard way. There is no sign anywhere, they just block it off. Love this little gem! We are basic and usually get the fried rice and sesame chicken which are always delicious, but I do want to branch out and try some more authentic dishes. I love that the rice isn't super greasy and salty like what you usually get from chinese takeout, it's much more fresh and light. Same goes for the chicken, it's not a super heavy breading or sauce.
