LOVE this place! I get ramen here all the time. My family also loves the sushi and other items.

I am writing this because I feel the need to guide people to NOT order ramen at all. Ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen and the noodles wasn't it. Other type of noodles that didn't have flavor and they were super over cooked plus all clumped up. The pork was super hard it felt old, didn't have flavor at all. it had kimchi? Also, the flavor wasn't it at all. This was ordered thru Uber Eats but even tho the broth came separately of course. I have ordered ramen thru Uber before and I have never experienced this before. Ordered some stuff from here via takeout on a whim one night and let me say i was blown away. The food was incredibly fresh and authentic. With a wide variety of asian specialties it was hard to choose one route so i literally ordered a smorgasbord of items. 1. spicy tuna roll (9/10) 2. pork belly bao (7/10) 3. spicy edamame (10/10) 4. seaweed salad (10/10) 5. tonkatsu spicy ramen (9/10) 6. tonkatsu ramen (8/10) For delivery i was very impressed with how everything was packed, labeled and the price was inexpensive to say the least. Oh boy. I was thoroughly disappointed. First time here. Sat at the bar. Had to ask for a menu. I wanted sushi and asked bartender/waiter for advice. He suggested calamari as an appetizer and the steak bowl for an entrée. I've never seen calamari onion ring style fried to a crispy brown and look like an onion ring. The batter was so thick and so gross. I couldn't eat more than one. They were horrible. The stake bowl came and it looked like someone threw up in it. It wasn't steak. It was shredded beef. I cannot even explain the taste. I received no chopsticks. No napkins or a fork. I did have my water refilled once. I do not recommend this place. read more

I've been here a couple times and it's pretty good. My review is based on their sushi rolls alone. The place is pretty nice, relatively upscale with a cool waterfall feature in the middle of the restaurant. I can see the appeal of coming here- the rolls are inexpensive compared to most places. Rolls here cost about 12.95 on average for their specialty rolls and less expensive for basic rolls. So the place is upscale and inexpensive, hence the good reviews. I probably won't be back for a 3rd time because nothing really blew me away. Everything I tried was a B grade (In my opinion). Worth trying if you're in the area, service is good. This is one of the best Japanese authentic restaurants here in this wonderful part of CO. The food is NOT too salty! All the flavors are so good! The bento boxes are excellent, the ramen options are excellent, and just about anything you choose on the menu is par excellence with reasonable prices. The food and service here are consistent and that's why we eat here every time we are sojourning this town! This is a great restaurant for large groups and families. Apps were just ok. Sushi was decent but the teriyaki chicken was the bomb. Service was very good and the ambiance was nice too.

Food: We started off with the Pork Belly Buns, which were very good. The sweetness coming from the sauce melding with the pork and bun was an amazing experience. The pork was a little dry, which I was disappointed by. For my main entree I had the Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box. Everything that came with it was delicious. The miso soup and salad were good to get my appetite going, and the California roll and gyozas were yummy. The chicken bathes in a pool of teriyaki sauce which is delicious. I was surprised to find the chicken was a little dry too, however. Everything was delicious minus the meat being a little dry for my taste. Service: Good, we had a nice waiter who came around every few minutes to check in on us. Was welcoming! Ambience: It is a tiny restaurant which is not busy, but still very delicious. When you enter the restaurant there is a wall with flowing water, which is a nice addition. It is usually pretty quiet so you don't have to yell over yourself which is also nice. Overall: Very good, I did not mention this before, but I've also been here a few times before, each being better than the time before. Also the chicken bento box is $15, a pretty good deal. It comes with a small bowl of salad and soup, a full California roll, 3 gyozas, big serving of chicken, and a heap of rice. I do recommend eating here when you get a chance! read more

I had been wanting to try Ramen, so we stopped here the atmosphere is great, the service is very friendly. However this place just wasnt for us we tried the miso soup wasnt a fan, the the entrees added below just didnt do it for us. My first time trying Kimchee also was not a fan. I had to fish my over cooked salmon out of the lake of teriyaki. Found some grilled onions under it and they were good I enjoyed them more than salmon. Maybe it's an off day for the both of us but I'm not tasting anything that is saying oh yea. read more

This place is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The customer service is above and beyond. The quality of everything is always top notch and super fresh. I order from here quite often and when I say often I mean one to three times a week. It's about a block from our house and I only wish I had tried it sooner. You can tell it is a really nice spot and has a good vibe. I'm always on the hunt for new sushi spots and this one checks all the boxes. Absolutely love how they have so many vegetarian options too like the tempura sweet potato roll and tofu roll. The crab rangoons are also delicious and fried perfectly. The pork belly buns will be something I will order again and again. Also the tempura mixed vegetable appetizer is another of my go tos. Honestly, was not expecting something that felt so high class being in a corner storfront of a strip mall, but here we are! The place may be small, but they have an atmosphere to feel like your wallet is about to be tortured. Or, you are a high class business man on a meeting to hurt other people's wallets. Either way, it is a surprise regardless. The service was kind and respectable to us, too. In spite of me having a ramune marble soda, which was bright green in the contrast of the dark lighting and greys the place had. But the food was a real winner here, as pricey as you expect sushi to be, of course, the quality is truly top notch and due to this, we ended up buying more than we should. What can I say? The food smelled great but would have loved to try it. When we walked in there wasn't any line, but still waited at least 5 minutes before even being greeted. When we were finally acknowledged and asked for a table for two we were asked to sit for while they got it ready. A few minutes later they stick menus in our hands but still ask us to wait. Another couple came in and they tried to seat them immediately and asked us if we were ready to place our to go order. We were again clear we were looking to dine in and suddenly we could be seated instead. We watched that couple leave before ever being acknowledged beyond that interaction, no one went back to tell them the wait time or anything. Watched 3 other tables leave because of the wait and at least one group before they even got to the table because of similar treatment. We waited at least 15 minutes without water, only had menus because they thought we were doing takeout, and finally walked out ourselves. The place isn't that big, and they clearly had enough staff to handle it. I can appreciate being busy, running behind, etc but not even acknowledging your customers for so long they leave? Food was pretty decent for a great price. Small inside, but completely renovated and very cute. Good menu, all the classics you would expect from a standard Japanese restaurant like ramen, sushi, bao, udon, and bentos. Went in late around 8pm and had great service, didn't feel rushed. We had 2 sushi rolls and a bowl of beef Ramen, the Ramen was the star and would absolutely go back for it, the sushi was a good balance of rice to fillings, but felt small compared to other offerings in the area. The kimchi that came with the ramen was ordered on the side based on other reviews, but it was for me the star of the meal and is what I look forward most to having when we go back! read more

first impressions upon entering Tokyo House is: the decor is fantastic! great look of modern fusion with Japanese art. very chill atmosphere :) ordered the soft shell crab steamed buns for appetizer. so delicious! i will probably come back just to order those! entrees were spicy kobe beef ramen and the chicken teriyaki bento box. the spicy beef was fantastic! so tender. good amount of heat but not sweating. really flavorful broth, rich and creamy but not thick or heavy. fantastic ramen, really. the bento box was also pretty good. chicken was just slightly overcooked/dry but that may be b/c of the elevation, and really hardly noticeable since they're swimming in delicious sauces. so tasty!! sushi rolled to perfection, and the gyoza meets the high standard that Japanese Cuisine aspires to. for dessert we had the tempura cheese cakes. we asked for the sauces on the side, and they were happy to accommodate. and oh wow was it an amazing way to end a wonderful meal. warm, and rich but light and simply delightful! (i don't want to hype it too much, but it was an eye-opening experience in such a great way! our server was wonderful as well! always smiling, perfect balance of attentiveness to let us enjoy the wonderful food and good conversation without feeling neglected nor "micro-managed" for lack of a better description. i plan on coming back many times! read more

We ordered takeout for a family dinner and I gotta say these folks have carefully thought out how to package take-out. Simon greeted me at the door at the time I selected to pick up my order, and brought out hot food in one sack and cold food in another. This made it super easy to separate our food when we got it home. The hot food containers were insulated and stayed hot until we got home to put them in our warmer. The food here is solid. Kobe Beef Steamed Buns and the Soft Shell Crab Steamed Buns were just awesome. The Kobe Beef Fried Rice was really good. The three sushi rolls we ordered were perfect. The Spicy Kobe Beef Ramen was a hit with my son who ordered it. The kid's plate (Chicken Fried Rice) was a generous portion. This is a fairly new business where an old Cajun place used to be. It's in a great location, but easier to get to if you enter 105th off of Federal. It's clear Simon and his team want to make you a happy repeat customer. This will be a place to which we'll return. We constantly drive by this place and always think "we should try it" but never do. Then I had a cousin visiting who wanted Japanese for dinner. Tokyo House was nearby and had good reviews so thought it'd be a great time to finally try it. So glad we did! We went during dinner and it wasn't too busy so was seated right away. Waitress was friendly and came by to refill tea and water often. (Note: they charge for tea). We both had the salmon bento box. Price was very reasonable and you get so much food... including salad and miso soup. We both couldn't finish our meals and got to take home some leftovers to enjoy the next day. I liked it so much I took my family the following week and they ordered the teriyaki and karaage chicken bento boxes. Both were good but they preferred karaage. Will probably try other things on the menu next time. This is our new regular! read more

I went with my husband. Wasn't really expecting much. Boy was I surprised. I really like the water wall which kept the takeout area seperate. Gives the place a nice vibe, so it's less like a strip mall. I had steamed pork dumplings. Very good! My husbands crab rangoon was some of the best I ever had. The eel rolls were very yummy. By the time my kobe beef noodle bowl came out I was pretty stuffed. The noodle bowl was tasty. The egg was a little overdone but it didn't take away from how good it was.
