I remembered the first time I tried Korean fried chicken and it was at a Bonchon in New York and I have been chasing that flavor and crunch since but the Colorado locations have not lived up to that expectation. This location is pretty decent if you're craving some fried chicken. It's a decent price for the amount of chicken you get. The soy garlic was a little too salty for me. It was good but not great. The fries were pretty well seasoned. The corn was kinda pricey for what it was. Overall, it's a good location and nice to get a meal after watching a film at the Alamo. Service was friendly. I would be back if I'm in the area.

6 piece wings--we asked for all flats and had to pay extra. Super crispy and tasty sauce!

If you get chicken, then it's great. I'd pretty much skip everything else. Their japchae was a joke. Swimming in sauce and not at all the flavors we love. But their wings were so good! Crispy, fried to perfection, and a very yummy sauce.

had a mid experience-- I've been to other locations and the food is great but unfortunately wasn't impressed today. Our wings weren't hot, but the fried zucchini was PIPING hot. I didn't love the corn dog either, it's just cheese. Besides the temp of the wings, they were great. Korean fried chicken is the best! Would definitely recommend the yangnyeom sauce, it's by far my favorite. Get it with ranch, the other sauces aren't great (cucumber wasabi is fine but not mind blowing).

I recently found out that Bonchon opened up a new location here in Westminster, and that is both good and bad news foe me. Good news because I now have a location slightly closer to home, and bad news because I'm going to end up going there more often! My first visit to the new location was nice. Friendly and prompt service, and the same high quality of food. I again ordered an order of the Pork Belly Bao Buns and and Korean Fried Chicken. My second visit featured an order of bulgogi. The Pork Belly Bao Buns are great. I've been looking for a place in the Denver area that serves Bao Buns well and I'm very happy to have finally found a go-to place for that craving! I've tried other Korean fried chicken places in the metro area, but none compare to Bonchon's. They are incredibly crispy and juicy, and the sauce they are served in is fantastic! Finally, the bulgogi is a favorite of my mom's. The flavor is rich and every bite somehow tastes better than the last! You cannot go wrong with any of the above 3 options I mentioned! If you need a favorite Korean joint, you have to go to Bonchon!

First time at Bonchon! What a great experience and restaurant for Korean style chicken wings and other Korean/asian dishes. The food was hot (temperature) and the flavor was on point. Anthony was our server and he was very helpful and polite. The inside of the restaurant was clean and welcoming. It was a great touch to have tv's in the bar area to keep us with the news or watch the games if you're there during game days. Highly recommend and we'll be back again to try other dishes.

Their soy garlic wings are so DELICIOUS. Their wings have an airy, crispy battered crust that has such a satisfying crunch under their sticky sauce. I ate here with a friend before catching a movie at the nearby theater. We ordered their sampler plate to get a little bit of everything. Their wings were great and I was pleasantly surprised by the great fry on their fried zucchini and their seasoned French fries. We didn't receive our pickled radish side dish. Which was sad because I was really looking forward to that tart, sweet palette cleanser between all the fried food. We were also missing a side dish of the cheesy corn. All in all, I will be visiting again for that garlic soy flavor alone. Delicious!!!! 4/5 stars, but it could closer be a 5 with some improvements. Parking is a bit sparse at this location. There is some limited street parking, but if you're willing to walk just park near the large lot near the movie theater. It's free as long as you leave before 4 hours. After that there's a fee.

Love bonchon for my Korean fried chicken fix! Just got for takeout but would go back and dine in another time. If first time, I recommend the wings/drumstick combo. I'm a fan of the spicy sauce with the side of pickled daikon radish (slightly sweet and good for neutralizing the spice)

Wanted Korean and this place looked interesting. Bulgogi came out sizzling on a skillet, most impressive. Took some wings to-go; the tempura had a satisfying crunch. With only one host working as the server he was pretty busy but was able to take care of everyone in the dining room. Three or four people came in for takeout while I was there. Modern seating tables and chairs only and three TVs on one with the Disney channel on for the kiddos. People who live in the area are lucky to have a great spot like this I will try to stop by again next time I'm in the area.

Everything is a la carte. On Sundays they were doing buy one get one draft beers and that is about the only thing that is considered a deal $9 for 2 draft beers. We weren't sure if the banchan refill were free as the menu indicated extra sides are more $$. So we didn't get anymore banchan than the ones they brought over. The pajeon was limpy and lack of caramelization... I did not try the corn cheese but I was told it was very sweet... We ordered the combo deals that's a tofu soup with a grilled meat of your choice for about $30-38 a person, depending on the meat of your choice. The meat is tasty, the bulgogi is a little bit on the sweet side... and the tofu soup... it's probably the most saddest, mediocre Korean tofu soup I've ever had, and essentially $20 a pop - definitely not worth it. The broth flavor was good, the soup literally had tofu and the meat of your choice... no veggies, no kimchi, no egg... The employees were nice but they didn't come check in on how the meal was until towards the end... we had asked for more napkins when we sat down and the napkins never showed up. Mandatory 20% tips added to a party of 5+. At least they called out that the price was with tips added. I really hope to like this place more... but looks like I'd need to trek back to Aurora for quality and better pricing.

Either the broths lacked flavor, the meats weren't fresh enough, or the overall experience just didn't live up to the hype. At one point I genuinely thought maybe hotpot in Colorado just wasn't for me. But my friends, who absolutely LOVE this place and come here all the time, basically forced me to give it a try, and wow, I'm so glad they did. From the first bite, I could immediately tell this place was different. The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting in a way that makes you want to keep eating even after you're already full. Everything tasted fresh, high quality, and actually well-prepared. The meats, veggies, noodles, and sides all complemented each other perfectly, and the whole experience just felt cozy and satisfying. Another thing that really stood out to me was the service. Every server I've interacted with here has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They genuinely make the experience even better because the atmosphere feels warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. You can tell they care about making customers feel comfortable and taken care of. Now it's literally all I think about whenever the weather starts getting cool outside. Like the second there's even a slight chill in the air, this place immediately comes to mind. It's become one of those comfort meals that you randomly crave late at night because nothing else compares. The kind of food that warms you up completely and makes you leave feeling happy and full. Honestly, this place changed my opinion on hotpot in Colorado completely. If you've been disappointed by other hotpot spots around here like I was, PLEASE give this one a chance because it is on a completely different level.

I'm finding this side dish hard to find amongst Kbbq establishments for some reason. Large portions and lots of options among this menu. My favorite was the Short ribs (limit 2 piece per person). The thick and juicy cuts were amazing. Rich and fatty, 2 pieces were more than enough for me. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff checked in with us frequently to change out our grill and see if we wanted to order more. The only thing was our table did not receive scissors to cut the short rib with. I asked two servers if they could provide us with them though we never received them. It made the dish a bit difficult to eat, but all in all a good experience. Would come to back to try their Korean dishes but would prefer to go elsewhere for hotpot unless a friend has a strong preference for this place. Food Cuisine: I was expecting either Korean hotpot (Jeongol) or Korean Chinese fusion because of it being a Korean restaurant and their main selling point - AYCE hotpot. It seemed like they tried to do something between regular Chinese hotpot (but without the in-your-face bold broth flavors) and Japanese shabu shabu (but minus the ponzu and simple, straightforward flavors) with some side Korean kimchi. They also had some typical Korean dishes and lots of alcohol options. The broth: None of the four broths we tried had a wow factor. Maybe the mushroom was the one to try. -Bulgogi is mainly salty and not well flavored. I don't taste any reminisce of a bulgogi flavor. My partner thought it was basic but he thoroughly enjoyed it. -Miso was good but it's hard to get that wrong. -Spicy Thai tomato flavor was okay. -Yuzu jalapeno was also okay but it was novel. It reminded me of a lighter and less rich version of Tom kha soup with yuzu and jalapeno instead of lime, lemongrass, galangal, and chili. The meats: Generous portions or maybe they're good at gauging the right portion for the number of people. We only had to make one meat order (lamb, pork belly, tripe, beef) during our order for a group of four and we ate every bit of it. The hotpot ingredients in the back: A decent variety of veggies, mushrooms, meat/seafood balls, seafood, and noodles. All seemed to be washed well and fresh. The sauce bar: Decent selection. A couple of interesting, not-so-typical sauces and mostly typical hotpot sauces. Service: Every table has a service button and an ordering tablet so you don't have to wave anyone down. Very nice staff who stays on top of maintaining the food and area. Space: Lots of seating. Leg room is not great for tall people unless you sit on the ends. Personal Note: Group vote - half of us liked the hotpot and would come back for the hotpot here and the other half of us were not into the broths and would prefer to do hotpot elsewhere. Note: The half that would not come back are the ones who grew up eating hotpot in the US and in Asia (we've tried Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese style hotpots), so that might make us two more critical with higher expectations.

We finally made it in on a Saturday for lunch this past weekend and I can honestly say I'm glad we did! A cup of peace is marketed as a Korean place; I'm not overly familiar with Korean food, but their menu seemed to have a fairly diverse selection of items that aren't necessarily specific to Korea - like the curry, burrito, and other items. It seems they all have some type of Korean flair or flavor profile, though. Totally not discounting that. I may be overthinking things lol. Anyway, there was only one other table occupied in the small dining area, but we did see a couple people stop in to pick up to-go orders. The decor is simple, but cute and the ambiance of the place is laid back. It's a perfect spot to grab a quick lunch, and is very easily accessible off of Arapahoe. There's a decent amount of parking out front, but it may get a little crowded if multiple cars are maneuvering to get out of the lot at the same time. I decided on the curry and my friend went with the bulgogi, which seemed like two solid choices for a cool afternoon. It didn't take much time at all for our meals to get to the counter, and the presentation was so nice! There was steam coming from both dishes, and they both looked super tasty. We sat at a table by the window and dug in immediately. The flavors were excellent, and the spice level was perfect; my friend ended up getting his on the spicier side too, and he said it tasted great; not too spicy and all the flavors of the meal came through. For the two of us, lunch was about $35 (with no drinks), which wasn't too bad considering portion sizes. The quality of the food is very good, and the ingredients all looked and tasted very fresh. I'd definitely stop in again sometime soon to check out the other dishes they have available! There is also a list of specialty drinks that would be cool to try out. If you find yourself in the area, I would recommend!
