2 lbs of wings w sauce on the side.

Still one of my all time favorite Asian restaurants to dine at. Our go to are Seafood Hot Pot - the tofu and seafood are so delicious all these years later. Green bean with roast pork or water grass with roasted pork. Fried whole fish w 2 sauces, lime and tamarind. Plain fried wings. Eggplant with minced meat - we've had beef, chicken and pork in the past, you can't go wrong with any. Hot and sour soup. Papaya salad. Service is amazing and the decor is the same over the years. Food has consistently been splendid and tasty. The only Lao place in town w Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese selections and fried wings. Prices have gone up a little over the years but still very reasonably priced. Woody's will always have a special place in my heart.

My absolute fave Thai restaurant! The food here never misses, piping hot, large portions, great flavor, and amazing price.

A hole in the wall truly!!!! This place is SO good. Known by the locals and family owned. I love getting the whole fried fish with two sauces, Pad thai noodles, and crispy pork with green beans. Family style meals, which is my favorite!!! The menu is HUGE with lots of pictures!!! Service is great! I love being in a space where the whole family is there. 3 generations in the business helping the restaurant run! :)

Hidden behind the name and Chinese food category, Woody's Wings N Things in Westminster, CO is actually uniquely a Southeast Asian/Cambodian restaurant. They carry a large menu including Chinese, Thai, Lao & Vietnamese dishes. But when you're Cambodian and far from your mom's cooking, you're beyond thankful that these guys are here. At first glance you wouldn't know, with the Woody logo, menu on their website, even the decor (there's at least an Apsara painting on the wall as some Cambodian representation). But once you page through their giant photo album for a menu, you'll find some unique traditional Cambodian dishes like Beef Loc Lac, Cambodian Sour Soup, dishes with lemongrass paste, etc. My favorite is the Tamarind Whole Fried Fish, I only wish the dipping sauce was made with tamarind paste, it's more of that sweet fish sauce we're all m familiar with at Thai and Vietnamese restaurants. But it still rings some nostalgic familiarity. Along with hearing the staff communicate to each other in Khmer feels like I'm dining with cousins. If you're a fan of Southeast Asian dishes or is in search of unique items outside of your usual Pad Thai and Pho, try some Cambodian dishes here at Woody's!

We've been coming here for years - this is simply one of the most authentic and unique restaurants with insane variety and flavor! Great prices and friendly staff too. Woodys Wings N Things isn't what you'd expect based on the name. True, they offer a variety of fried wings in Szechuan, lemongrass, and BBQ, and the restaurant is labeled as Chinese on google, yelp, and their own website - but here you will find an absolute cornucopia of Asian dishes: Cambodian, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Laotian!!! The Cambodian soup, nam ya, and duck laab are some of my favorites. If you're in Colorado let alone the Denver metro - you need to check them out!

This place is an absolute gem! I have been coming here since I was like 10 years old and I never get sick of the food. We decided to keep it basic today and get the Cambodian soup and morning glory with fried pork belly. Everything here is perfectly seasoned and you can change the spice levels as well. I love how crispy the pork is and how tangy the soup is. Some other favorites that I enjoy here are the lad nah, papaya salad, fried rice, beef waterfall, and honestly so much more. It's definitely a little hole in the wall restaurant and the decor has been the same since I was little. Servers are always nice and quick! This is definitely my top 5 places to get southeast asian food in Colorado.

Came to Denver to visit for the holidays and needed my Lao/Thai fix so bad. The khao piek sen hit the spot! We also ordered papaya salad (lao style), but wasn't to my liking. The fish was giant and so so delicious. Definitely coming back for that khao piek really soon!

Basil Duck Thai Style, Lemongrass Chicken Wings w/Peanuts, Beef Fried Lort

My husband and I got takeout and shared: - Lemongrass Chicken Wings w/Peanuts - Basil Duck Thai Style - Beef Fried Lort I really enjoyed everything we got. The wings were probably my favorite. The sauce was so good that I drank the rest of it. The lort was a type of noodle I've never had and I loved it. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area now.

I love everything about Woodys. It definitely makes my Denver top 10. Where do I begin? I think the interior dates this place about 30 years with the mirrors and broken leather booths that have some spooty patchwork which definitely adds to the character of this establishment. What makes this place special, if I haven't sold you on FF&E package is the service is friendly, and confident in the cooking quality. We ordered a tom yum, pad Thai and stringed green veggie dish. This place gets simplicity and flavor profile right. All the dishes were appropriately seasoned and sized. The menu doesn't feature prices and has some weird looking photos but don't let that deter - it's all very good oh and homey. I love how extensive their menu is and look forward to coming here time and time again.

If you ever asked for good Thai food in Denver, I'm sure you have heard of Woody's! Have been to Woody's a handful of times. This time we went to celebrate our anniversary as this was the place we had our first date. To celebrate we ordered a feast! Woody's has great food in Westminster. It's a bit of a trek from Denver, but is absolutely worth it. We've never had a problem walking in from weekdays to weekends but it's not a big place so it can fill up fast. This most recent time we ordered Buffalo Wings, Crispy Wings, Sweet and Sour Fish, and Chicken Satay. The Buffalo Wings seemed a bit old and recooked, to be honest. The wings were cold but the buffalo sauce was hot. They were fine. The Crispy Wings were amazing! Made up for the lackluster Buffalo Wings. Definitely recommend this perfectly crispy and battered wings. The Sweet and Sour fish was delicious! Would try a the lime one next time. Chicken Satay was good! All in all, a great place with personal sentiment to me.

Singapore Noodles

4.5 stars. Two years later, I finally got to try more than just the wings at Woody's. To recap, I loved the pound of buffalo hot wings that my friend and I shared. They were SWIMMING in sauce. We didn't like the sides (fries and jalapeño poppers) we ordered at the time because they were dry and overcooked. I've since tried the Thai-style wings which were PHENOMENAL. Definitely ordering both next time I come here. As far as the Asian food, a friend and I shared some intestine soup, whole fish, and Singapore noodles. LOVED the Singapore noodles, though I wish there were more ingredients in the dish. Loved the intestine soup as well. Sweet and flavorful. I wasn't impressed by the whole fish, which I thought was dry. So I guess the moral of the story is to find what you love at Woody's and just keep ordering those things!

It's always wonderful coming back here from time to time. Met up with a colleague for dinner. She's never been here before and wanted to have good Asian food. So, I thought I'd show her this place since it's close to her neck of the woods. We had some papaya salad, beef and broccoli, and tofu pad Thai. All the food was delicious as always. The service was good. And the ambiance is casual as always. The prices are reasonable and a great little mom and pop restaurant. Been coming here since I was a kid.

BBR - big bowl o' rice, and cold Thai beef. Yum.

Five stars for the spicy Cambodian soup alone. No, it wasn't spicy. I asked for spicy and this white girl wanted to get blown away, but wasn't meant to be. It's OK, though, because with the spice out of the way, the flavors were allowed to shine. It was so wonderfully sour with delicious morning glory and tender chunks of beef. The intestines add flavor, and if they're not your thing, you can easily eat around them. Just use em and lose em. The spice came with the cold Thai beef. Leave it to the Thai dish to bring the heat, even when the meat is cold. It wasn't overpowering though, maybe they went easy on us, but again, a flavor explosion, quality meat, and herbs n spices for days. Sure, they have wings, but I'm here for all the things.

Woody has best salty shrimps and Singpore noodles. With high inflation nowaday, their portion size is good for the price.

Great food and relatively good survive. Though think the service was low due to not many employees.

Had not really been over to the area other than the Museo de Las Americas - which is such a cool museum! It was a bright aF day outside and then entering Chuey Fu's was a little like entering La Diabla Y Pozole where it's suddenly a whole different environment that you've just stepped into! A distinct vibe. This one was creative/arty/edgy and the menu reflected that vibe as well. I had just tried the Pho Sizzle at Saigon Noodle Club at Edgewater and so when I saw the Pho Burrito on the menu here at Chuey Fu's I was like whaaa??...had to try it and it was SO flavorful! Veeerry delicious. I would definitely get it again. While sunning with a generous happy hour Paloma on the back patio, I noticed their brunch menu and was thinking that looked like a great thing to come back and try as well! For the vegans - we had some plaintains and they were beautiful and smoky caramelized and so tasty! They have other vegan food there too or my friend would not have recommended it, but we were there mostly for happy hour items! I had to try the pho burrito tho! Took half of it home! The bartender and servers were chill and laid back. It was a very pleasant happy hour! It wasn't super crazy and when it did fill in a bit inside, it was still chill. We sat at the bar and then the sunny back patio. It was a great time!

Well that's how I felt this morning, so VinaMeals was where I ended. I ordered two items, so join me and read my food journey... Just had bánh ít tràn, a Vietnamese, steamed sticky rice dumplings dish. This dish reminds me of my mom's cooking where she used to make us this dish all the time to eat for breakfast. Lots ingredients inside the these three dumplings including mung bean, wood ear mushroom, jicama carrot, onion, garlic, minced with pork and shrimp. It came with steamed bean sprouts, cucumber, and fish sauce to dip the dumplings or just pour over the dish. I felt the accommodating items didn't add any value to this dish, but boy, did these dumplings bring back good memory. Of course, when you are here, you have to get their small wonton soup. It is one of the best I have ever eaten. I believe the broth that is the star, and the wontons come very close but just a second too late. This small soup is very filling, and I always wonder if adding a bowl of plain rice into the soup will make this dish a complete meal. We will have to find out later. As I am sitting here writing this review, I am truly enjoying the atmosphere. Listening to the music over my head, I am sing a little bit too loud, louder than mouthing the words. My head is moving from side to side, and my feet are tapping. I found my happiness here even though we leapt/spring one hour ahead earlier today.

The chicken soup dumplings, pork potstickers, and the ice cream was all very good! I wasn't such a huge fan of the tufu pork belly noodles. I'm not really a fan of tofu but I didn't really like the noodle dish in general. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and well designed. The wait staff was also very friendly. Lately it feels like a lot of restaurants are charging more while giving less, and it's getting harder to find places that actually care about the customer experience. Unfortunately, this was another one of those experiences. We ordered three side dishes and three drinks, and the bill came out to around $100. Two of the three sides were served cold, the dumplings at least came out hot, but they were pretty mediocre and nothing I'd order again and drinks were extremely over priced. The waitress was fine, no real issues there, but it did feel like the food may have been sitting in the kitchen too long before it hit the table even though the place was empty. At the end of the day, it's hard to justify paying that kind of money for cold, underwhelming food, then feeling awkward about the tip because the experience just wasn't good. I won't be back. If I had known this is what the experience was I would have definitely gone somewhere else. As an added bonus I felt like crap afterwords, I think it was because of poor quality ingredients. My aim in writing these reviews is to highlight the restaurants and businesses that truly take care of their customers, to give people a heads up about the ones that clearly do not prioritize quality or the customer experience, and to express myself in a world where it often feels like there is very little room to speak honestly about paying top dollar for mediocre experiences. Very disappointing.
