I was unsure where to wait to order my sandwich so I waited by the case. While there were numerous employees working behind the counter, and zero other customers in the store, nobody greeted me for an awkwardly long amount of time. Maybe 5 actual minutes passed with me standing there and multiple employees working and even looking at me and never saying anything. Finally someone asked if I needed help. Yes, I want to order a sandwich. I put in my order, and it took about 10 minutes to make the sandwich. Understandable as the meat was sliced to order, which was great. In that time, another person came into the store, grabbed a few items, and stood at the register for that same full ten minutes I waited for my sandwich. Numerous employees working around, one even said hi to her, and nobody asked to help her. I was then asked a second time if I needed help and said I was waiting for my food. The other customer, still ignored. It was awkward for both of us. Finally, when my sandwich was done, they rang me out before she was rung out, and a second employee came to ring her out, and employee who walked past her numerous times while we stood there. Just a very strange customer service experience. They have a lot of room to improve in this area. On the plus side, during my long wait I was able to get photos of the grocery area and their cases and fridges. Lots of selection on the grocery side.

Came by to pick up some homemade sausage, frozen tortellini, and mascarpone. You could get a combo now with a soda of your choice and some chips. I love that they have craft Colorado sodas as selection made with real cane sugar. The deli is clean and always feels well stocked for all the essentials. They have amazing selection of various types of cheesecake, I didn't even notice they had cookies before but ended up getting a couple cookies for dessert to pair with my homecooked sausage and peppers pasta. Make sure you get your punch card if you're getting the canolis, the sausage canolis have a special place in my heart.

Glad to see them still standing all these years later, such a large mom and pop location too. The grocery store overall is well lit and organized, the store is clean. I believe they make their money with the check cashing office up front. The meat counter and the frozen section looked good as well, the only thing here is that you really have to check the dates on the products you're getting. I think the refrigerated items are decent, grabbed some pad thai noodles... but a lot of the sauces, including the pad thai sauce, expired in 2022. I think whatever they sell more of, like sriracha, those are in good dates... but the jarred sauces that don't sell as often and some fresh produce, just needed extra care and attention. If you're here to support local and getting some specialty items, please pay a bit more attention on the product dates, if available.

I've been in this store multiple…read moretimes, and this is the second time that I've been rung up way over my initial total, in favor of the store. We went to the restaurant, and our total should have been around $10, but then the cashier tried to ring up our credit card for $18. When she got caught, she tried to give me $3 out of the register to make it up, but when I told her $8, she got a manager. Watch your totals before handing over your payment. The pupusas from the restaurant were doughy and the filling didn't have any flavor. Last time I went in I got tres leches cake and it was just a sugary mess swimming in too much liquid. The quality of the meat from the carneceria was really tough, chewy. So far, I haven't found anything worth going in to this market for, except cheap prices for low quality goods. I keep giving them a try because they are close to home, but there are way better Mexican markets in Denver.

Tried out the grocery delivery using the Safeway app. At first glance it seemed like a good idea,…read morebut during checkout I noticed the estimated total amount changed three times to a higher amount but the fees stayed the same, so it was confusing even after clipping coupons. In the end I was charged a larger amount than what was anticipated and they did not send me the final invoice (with the higher different amount) until after my card was charged. I was a disappointed by that since I like transparency before a transaction. Overall the driver was on time, polite, the groceries were fresh, watermelon was ripe and the delivery fee was about six bucks. Might just go in person next time even though it's a bit of a distance.

When I saw somebody cut off somebody else to take a handicap spot that didn't have the right to that spot as the other person did. People don't realize how important it is for the handicapped to have those spots. That's why they were created.
