Very needed Asian grocery store in Colorado. I come here often almost once a month and get the basics I need or hot pot, kbbq, and regular dinners. Their produce is always delicious. It is fairly limited compared to what I use to have in California but I will take what I can get! They also have an Asian liquor store inside and a small bakery you can sit and eat at. I've been trying to contact this location since noon. I got back to my apartment (40mins away from this store), when I looked over my receipt, I was charged twice for an item that I only have one of. I've been trying to contact them so I could see about how I would get a refund... however, no luck. Best advice, check your receipts before driving off. I heard about H Mart from a lady on the airplane actually! My husband is living in Broomfield and I am visiting. I am so glad I came here. It has everything you could ever think of and then more. I enjoyed all the fresh fruit and vegetables immensely. The bakery was really cool. Fish and meat? Wow they have it all! They even have a liquor section tons of wine and sucky. Beers. Even though this location was smaller than the one in Aurora, it felt cleaner and less crowded which was really nice. We got everything we needed and even bought some hot food items in the back of the store. I'd recommend coming here to compare and avoid the craziness of the Aurora location. Only issue was with some of the hot food items--Korean fried chicken was very very chewy and not at all crispy. Japchae was just okay. And we wanted the banana milk and other flavors of milks to be in the cute plastic containers instead of the cartons. So, as to be expected, just a smaller selection. I'm conflicted - I came here wanting to love it. The place is smaller than other H marts I've been to and the bakery is privately owned within the store. The Spanish speaking staff struggled to understand English, could NOT understand Korean either. That said, he quickly tried to take down my info for the manager to call later - I decided to take a business card instead. The grocery selection was okay, not the best. Lots of patrons and employees working to keep things stocked. The cooked foods section smells delicious - and when I asked about the catering aigm advertised, the employee could not care less. I have been hearing about HMart for years but none were near where I live. In Lakewood for an errand for my husband, I ride along to help advise as well as to have chance to visit the Westminster HMart only a short detour on the way home. We timed it to have lunch there as well as to look for a few items I had been told were likely to be available . The lunch was affordable as well as tasty. We ordered in the 2 Sticks Cafe, having the sautéed assorted seafood with veggies and steamed rice. We had some bottled drinks with it and the unsweetened oolong tea went well. We then browsed the bakery next door, hoping to get egg tarts to take home but they do not carry them. We made a purchase of 3 varieties. One was disappointing, hoping the cream buns would be a custard base cream as we had elsewhere. Unfortunately , they were not. It was a flavorless pure white, very unlike any natural cream I have had in an Asian bakery. The bun itself was a nice brioche dough, with powdered sugar. The other bun was also the brioche dough and with a tasty red bean paste. The other selection we made was of almond florentine cookies with a buttery dough, sweet and crispy. We then walked through the store, viewing the wonderful looking produce and meat departments, the sushi takeout, the Korean fried chicken shelves. The aisles and aisles of sweet treats, convenience foods, bottled and canned drinks were amazing. Nice kitchen tools and serving dishes were easy to find. There is a liquor store inside too. The piles and pikes of enormous bags of so many types of rice were so convenient. Finally finding the aide of drinks that I was looking for with the help of a staff member from customer service who went right to correct section, we bought two brands of the basil seed drink to try for comparison to what I have had elsewhere. I also locked up a can of a lychee drink, another favorite. I have to agree with the Yelp reviewer (Christian B) that it was frigid cold in there as if the entire store was refrigerated, not just the cases. A bit out of the way off the interstate, we were glad to have found this H Mart to pick up some ready-made lunch items to go for a later picnic! As other H Mart locations, they have snack items, candies, produce, specialty items, houseware goods, as well as a bakery section in the back. I was pretty surprised in the number of offerings they had in terms of hot foods - bento boxes, sweet potatoes, snacks, banchans, etc. We picked up some bindaedduks, kimbops, and some banchans, and each of them tasted freshly made, had the right amount of seasoning, and were pretty yummy. If you're up for an adventure and have the time to wander around, H-mart is the grocery store for you. If you've got your google translate app ready and you're up for a hunt, let's go! Featuring groceries, snacks, dishware and even some appliances, H-mart has a lot of variety of product. If I need something I don't normally find at a usual chain grocery store (Enoki mushrooms, milk tea flavored kit-Kats, ready-to-cook KBBQ style pork belly etc) this is where I go. They have stepped up their game in recent years. Things look cleaner. Signage is clearly marked to direct you to the aisle/product you're looking for, but that's about all the help you'll get. I usually visit to peruse each aisle for a new snack to try. If I come here for something specific, I make sure I have time to HUNT for it. As much as I love H-mart, flagging someone down to track something down is difficult. The stand-outs are: -their produce and meat section always being fresh. -the addition of ready-to-eat banchan ("side dishes") -snack aisle -frozen meals that re-heat well! Dumplings and kimbap are always a must but for my freezer! My hope is that H-mart locations in Colorado get a remodel like I've seen in other states. I was disappointed after visiting this chain in San Diego and seeing the differences. These stores in comparison are in need of an update. This H-Mart is not the same H-Mart location(s) as California and Texas area. The H-Mart in Colorado are totally different. To be honest, they are a lot more expensive their your typical REAL H-Mart. There are quite a few things here that are almost double the price which is ridiculous. I grabbed a few of the essential that I needed for preparing a meal. Some of the stuff I bought were near expired and still very expensive. I did not realize this until I got home. I was very annoyed that I bought Korean corndogs for my little one for 12.99 and it expires next week. Therefore I am well aware they have been in the freezer for well over a year. I also purchased some of their boba ice cream bars that possibly had freezer burnt...there were ice crystals on them...but they were not expired or near expiration. So I question the temperature and quality of the food here. When you shop here, be sure to check the dates and I guess take the risk of purchasing frozen items. read more

Great fish market - H Mart is the only store, ever, with a large fish market that does not smell fishy. Excellent selection of other Asian foods: ramen bowls, edamame, yummy frozen egg rolls, rice of all varieties, oils/vinegars/ jarred sauces... and on and in and on! Wonderful!! This place sells great specialty items and unique hard to find produce. They have the best prices for fresh herbs and have a nice little selection of kitchen items that are unique to Asian cuisine. The tea selection is superb. This is the only place I am aware if where I can buy a jug of beef blood. Overall, I just wish it was closer. I'd come here all of the time if it weren't so far away. This H-Mart is on the smaller side yet jam-packed with so many goodies that it can still be overwhelming. Take your time when you visit starting with dry or non-refrigerated goods and work your way to the refrigerated and frozen foods. We have visited occasionally to stock up on some Asian food goods and produce we could not find closer to home. Musts almost always include kimchi, tofu, mushrooms, sour preserved plums, noodles, condiments, nori and dumplings. You can buy pre-made sushi, kimbap, and warm dumplings as well if you plan to eat them soon. We picked up Inari and Tuna Onigiri which were both delicious. The bakery is worth a visit and is a separate transaction from the groceries so plan accordingly. We also occasionally buy some cook or dinner wear. Our visits have increased now that I need to find specific meat and organs for my cats' and pup's raw diet (heart, kidney, liver, uterus, testicles, duck feet, duck heads, gizzards, etc.). The quality of meats is very good! We also picked up some cornish game hen, pork belly and short ribs for ourselves. You can join their loyalty H-mart membership program which is similar to a King Soopers or Safeway membership program for cost savings. You can also find their sale flyer online prior to visiting. Coming here is always so much fun, but also a little overwhelming considering that I don't know what most of the things for sale are! There's a bakery at the front of the store that always has delicious looking baked goods for sale. You can find really good sales in the produce sections at times, today strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries were only 98cents per container! They have every kind of mushroom under the sun, and a very large selection of tofu. Whenever I come here I spend a long time here strolling through all the aisles and picking up products to read about. My favorite aisles are the frozen and the snack/candy aisles. There are just so many fun and new to me things to try out, so I never leave H-Mart empty handed. They should really be called international since you can also get a wide variety of Mexican products and the produce is the cheapest you will find! This location has a huge parking lot but the ingress and egress are tricky so scrutinize your GPS so you don't get trapped by the lack of legal U-turns on the busy street! Really inefficient and there is one person directing folks as this is not clearly marked. Utter confusion resulting in longer wait times. This results in more crowded parking. I used to love H Mart. They're my go to for getting fresh fish for sashimi and sushi. They sold filets of salmon, yellowtail, and tuna that were awesome. They got a new manager who processes the fish before putting it out for sale. Now, all filets come with lemon/lime, herbs, roe, and ginger. All of that is weighed in at $22.99/lbs for salmon. I spoke to the manager and asked if he could just slice me a salmon filet. He told me to go grab one from the shelf and that it was all he had. I asked again if he could slice me a salmon filet because i only want the filet. He said yeah of course, it'll just take a few minutes. He kindly sliced me a filet, but walked it out with the lime, roe, ginger, soy sauce, etc. Im so confused.... I dont want that. I just want to get filets of quality fish so I can make my own sashimi, nigiri, and sushi. I also dont want my limes, ginger, and packets of soy sauce to be factored in at the same price per pound as the fish. So disappointed to see this change in management. The manager was nice as could be, so I dont mean to slam him. I just really wish they'd sell me filets of fish without the "garnishes". Additionally, the citrus cooks the raw fish where it touches it. Whyyyyyyyyyyy did you do this h mart!? Go to for ingredients that the other chains simply don't have. Their produce is beautiful. I picked up a Korean Pear today for a recipe I'm making for dinner tomorrow. Their meat section is extensive in both fresh from the butcher and frozen. The seafood cannot be beat. They even had fresh, live crawfish today. Our go-to is hitting the grab and go area for Gimbap and Leek Pancakes. So good! We also re-supplied our ramen and rice. The store is well stocked, bright and clean. It's an HMart! It's like an Asian Walmart. It's kinda huge. You can get dry goods like adorable socks. There are pre-made items so you can make your own bento lunch. There are little stores inside where we bought some milk bread and got lunch at Two Sticks. We often get our rice here, but you have to know your prices in any Asian market. Some items are double the price in other stores and some are significantly cheaper. Why did we go to this particular HMart? Finding groceries for Asian food in Colorado is difficult. There are only a handful of decent Asian grocery stores. Although the HMart in Aurora is pretty great, the one in Westminster is quite lacking. The produce selection is quite a bit smaller than the HMart in Aurora and a lot of the selection looks old and ready to be thrown out. Meat selection is decent. Fish selection is decent.
