Cuando me toco mi turno, no puse mucha atención en eso, porque estaba tratando de empaquetar mis productos. Sin embargo, realice una segunda transacción con otros alimentos, y si tuve el tiempo de ver nuevamente la forma en que tiraba los alimentos para el empaque . Esta vez ya había una persona empacando. No fue descortés, pero si un poco grocera la FORMA como tiraba los alimentos que vamos a consumir sin tener el cuidado oportuno. Cuando llegue a casa y al desempacar mis bolsas, pude observar que la tapa de la salsa de espaguetis estaba chancada y por lo tanto se abrió. Si hubiera estado mas calmada la Sra Ellie en pasar los alimentos para el empaque, talvez esto no habría pasado. ..!! Regrese a la tienda y la gerente hizo caso omiso de la queja....no le dio importancia alguna o al menos no me lo hizo saber... She made people wait unnecessarily in line and couldn't be bothered to help. I'm not sure how employees like this go by unnoticed. Filing loads of paperwork on the computer can wait. Well, it's been a couple years and while some things at the KS have improved, their produce is still lackluster at best. They have added wine and updated the store a bit, which is nice. However, just today as I was shopping in the produce section, a KS employee (older, thin gentleman with glasses) who was fulfilling some o line orders, was blowing into the plastic produce bags to get them to open up before placing whatever produce the customer had requested into the bag. In other words, he was getting his germs from his breath all over the inside of the bag, putting food into it, sealing it up and then going to give it to a customer! So unsafe, so unhealthy, so gross! If you do any online ordering with this store, be sure to know how they're bagging your food! read more

Yes, in some cases.. though I cannot deny I can definitely have a workout just going thru Aisle by Aisle at this King Soopers. Inside this KS they also have the Aspen Leaf Frozen Yogurt. Since the development of this neighborhood has been growing in 2009-2011, I wish this is My Kind Of KS. Why can't ALL KS be like this? Well, its ALL in where the money comes it. Do you know the average household income in this community is about $90K? Hence they can build such Massive King Soopers in this community and Neighborhood. But I have the Love-Hate Relationship with this KS. Sometimes, the prices of items is comparable to the Gourmet Supermarkets in town, sometimes, the prices of items can be Higher. *Sigh* Well its all in Consumer Demand what nots. At all times, when we were here this KS is kept clean, and all items are stocked up regularly. My girlfriend's house is right next to this King Soopers so every time I need groceries on my way home, this is always the most convenient spot to go to. The time of day I need groceries is never an issue here because this King Soops is open until midnight. The Starbucks inside is fantastic and the prices are always fair with a King Soops member ship. I absolutely love this King Soopers. It is the KING of Kings. What a big store. My favorite part is the food court area with the frozen yogurt and sushi areas. I can stop in and have a cup of soup, do my shopping and enjoy great service all at the same time. The store is always bright and fresh with great staff. I have been shopping in this particular location since the doors opened, I used to love this store, shelves full and stocked and plenty of checkers. NOW not so much, the shelves are full and being stocked during the day with little room to move through the isles. The checkers are almost non existent maybe 2 on a busy Sunday? come on. This store has too many self serve checkouts. And where are all the checkers that have been there for years? It's very disappointing to even walk in that store, I don't like the other chain stores for grocery items but I am not dealing with standing in line for 25 minutes with two customers in front of me while the teenage checker talks to the person that is supposed to be bagging groceries instead of taking care of customers. I know I am not the only one irritated with this store and this was not a first time experiencing this. Management needs to wake up. read more

The people are extremely friendly and helpful. The problem is twofold the prices are frequently wrong on the tags. Sometimes, it is higher sometimes it lower because of the sale. But one of my chief complaints is simply the fact that we're supposed to use an app to help shop in your store and your Internet never works it is absolutely horrible. I get that the Internet is free. However, were asked to use that app for coupons and other items. So Internet would be extremely helpful to continue to use your app. Also, pricing situation is very frustrating as well. Do you need examples? I have one for my previous shopping trip. I've lived near this King Soopers for about a year and a half, but I'm about to move to Firestone, where this is also a King Soopers (and it's actually the only grocery store in Firestone) Reflecting on this fact has made me realize how spoiled I am by this particular store. I can't say how new exactly, but this place seems really new. It's one of the bigger King Soopers I've ever been to, and it's always spotless and very naturally bright in side. There are a couple things that store features that really sets it apart for me: 1) Sushi bar! I'm not a sushi person but my wife, who is, says it's pretty damn good. 2) Starbucks and even a froyo spot 3) A well stocked section of healthier and organic foods, including amazing teas that are very hard to find elsewhere (and they're reasonably priced!) On top of these things, it's just a very well laid out store that is clearly marked and it has everything you need-toiletries, produce, snacks, dairy, meats, bakery, everything! The cherry on top is the staff, who are always very friendly and very helpful if you need to find something, or if you're having trouble at self check out. Oh and one last thing, they have 2 Netflix machines, a cellphone recycling machine, and a coin star. If you live in the area this should be your usual grocery store! read more

Suzie the pharmacy technician was extremely rude. My husband and I Go in to pick up Claritin D for my sister in law and she makes us go from one end of the counter only to wait 7min where no one was for her to come up and just be like what can we get you... she had no idea how to ring it in so we were waiting. And I am going down the aisle looking for Sudafed for my sinus headache. So as she is ringing it up the pharmacist comes over and says that the Sudafed begins the counter was better. So she cancels our current order for the Claritin d and rings us up for the Sudafed. When we are going to pay we realize it was like $20 cheaper. She was like you can only get one and you want Sudafed. I then look at her and go "okay so can I get the Claritin D under my ID for my Sudafed sister in law?" She looks at me and rolls her eyes and goes yea. So we are going through the process again... and at the end we go thank you have a great day and she doesn't acknowledge us but turns around and start talking to her coworker.... like if she's here whose running hell?? It doesn't do anything to be nice to people. Sorry we made the transaction so difficult... sorry we made you late for your break... all we wanted was to feel better. Living in southern Denver, I have access to a few King Soopers within a 10-15 mile radius. None are quite as good as this one though. It is more reminiscent of an upscale grocer like Whole Foods, with wide aisles, a massive produce and fresh food department, and a few counters serving made-to-order burritos bowls, pizza, etc. I wish I lived closer to this King Soopers location!! read more

When I first moved to Colorado and shopped here I had a lot of trouble finding things. Why wouldn't cereal bars be by the cereal for instance? But I have since figured it out and shop here regularly. The employees are always very friendly, the store is always clean and they carry a lot of natural foods. They also have more vegetarian products (fakin bacon, Tofurkey, etc.) than the other KS locations. I love shopping at this king sooper location for all my non vegetable and fruit items. I am a couponer striving to be somewhat of an extreme couponer. So, I love shopping at king soopers because they will automatically double your coupon up to a dollar. More specifically for this location, I love shopping here because the staff are extremely nice and helpful. They're also very good at restocking when the shelf is clear unless they are completely out. If they are out, you can ask for a raincheck to get that sale price even when the sale is over. Sales are always renewed every Wednesday until Tuesday midnight and my favorite sale is the mega event, buy 5 save $5. Happy shopping! read more

I created a Yelp account just to write how dissatisfied I am with the 'pick list' service from the online shopping experience provided by Kroger at this location 136th and Colorado. I give every business at least 3 tries before I give an opinion weather good or bad as to its service or product and this store was given 4, all problematic! I am new to the online services and thought it would be cool to try it out. First problem is the website is not user friendly and did not apply coupons or deals to my order. 5 of my products were substituted when I arrived at the store and waited 20 minutes, specifically 'Instant lunch cup of noodles. (I know that you can request no substitutes online but that did not change the fact that the shoppers did change it!) The substitute for the chicken cup of noodles was beef flavored ramen all four times! The first and second order were not reviewed until I got home and found the numerous mistakes. I will get to the last order which was by far the worst experience. My wife and I arrived on time for the delivery window and were told there was another person ahead of us and we waited 30 minutes. I don't want to sound pretentious but King Soopers is offering this service and I am a customer expecting results for this new service. When the order arrived in there plastic bins, ALL of the boxed cereal, bread, fruit and perishable items were at the bottom of the bags. ALL of the cans and heavy jars were at the top of the bag which of course crushed and smooshed the bread products and boxes. It was as if it was done deliberately and out of petulance! I never complain but I was pissed about this crap! We pointed out the problems to the kid who delivered the groceries and I asked him "would you accept this if it was for you?" Bent cans, crushed boxes, crushed fruit, wrong size cans of vegetables, 6 apples not even in a bag, and of course BEEF FRICKIN RAMEN NOODLES for the fourth time and I said NOT to SUBSTITUTE! My problem was I should have never accepted this order but I did like a good little citizen. We waited another 20 minutes while the irritated shopper went back into the store and got replacements for the destroyed products. He said he would knock off 10 bucks on the order which was never applied. I will NEVER, EVER use this service again! You want to be satisfied, do your own shopping! read more

Recently upgraded and by far one of the better locations. The only complaint I have is that the hot food counter staff will flat choose gossiping with each other before helping a customer. A few times I've just walked away after about 5 to 10 minutes of being ignored. I've had more close calls in this parking lot than any place else due to drivers not paying attention, so I only go to this King Soopers if it's before 9:00 a.m. in the morning on the weekend. This location should completely be avoided during lunch break at Legacy High School, which is across the street, during school days. I don't care for the way the produce section is set up, and the regular aisles seem narrow -- except for the frozen aisles, which I like. Decent selection and lights in the displays turn on as you walk by. Is the pricing at King Soopers better than other stores? I don't think so, unless an item is on sale. I prefer Safeway for day-to-day groceries, Sprouts for produce (pricing and quality), cannot wait until the Whole Foods opens on 120th, and I am in love with Trader Joe's which is worth the drive to Boulder. This will not be a good review and it's more than just a grumpy old guy venting. I've been shopping at King Soopers locations for more than 50 years; 9 years at this location. If you count the time my mom shopped, it would be closer to 65 years all across the state. This store has jumped the shark to become a miserable experience and troublesome inconvenience for the following reasons: - it begins with a poorly maintained parking lot - a seeming unwillingness on the part of courtesy clerks to pick up carts and return them to store. No point in trying to strike up a conversation with one of these disgruntled folks during foul weather. The disdain for their task is apparent - recent wholesale turnover of staff has led to a palpable decline in the quality of customer service. They clearly do not enjoy what they are doing and it shows - the recently reconfigured store can be confusing or seem illogical for anyone who shopped prior to the changes - the merchandising efforts crowd the aisles; are misleading since they don't represent "deals" or "discounts" even when products are promoted at special locations throughout the store instead of the traditional location - prices are often missing from the shelves. This is especially true in the meat section - the increase in organic produce is much welcomed, but often disguised as lower-priced produce until you reach the checkout - the increase in prepared foods doesn't seem to fit with the shopping audience - the reduction in operating hours appears to reflect an increased focus on cost and expense management and away from customer service - the closing of one entrance, marketed as a necessary security feature, routes incoming shoppers through the middle of the self-checkout area where chaos is the operative experience - the stocking of shelves during regular shopping hours creates unnecessary crowding and conveys the feeling of an east coast bodega instead of a modern grocery store In short, this store appears to have abandoned the long-standing tradition of quality customer experience and service as it experiments with efforts perhaps to remain relevant. In truth, these many seemingly aerobic efforts weren't necessary if the firm had simply retained its historical laser focus on the customer experience. I'm not a fan of spending more at "Whole Paycheck" but the experience there is so much better. read more

This KIngs is just fine. I used to love it, but after going to new the King Soopers in Erie, I realize how much friendlier the Erie store is, especially the Deli! This King Soopers is one of the cleanest ones in Denver. Everything is organized and place is clean for the most part. It tends to get messy during the busy times, but the employees there seem to do a good job cleaning the place up. Produce is good quality, but they could be better. Meats and seafood are also good quality. We wish we still loved close to here, but it's definitely worth the extra drive to shop here. read more

This is my most favorite King Soopers in Colorado! This is near my lovers house and we always stop by to pick up some delicious Ben and Jerry's ice cream and cake. I love this location because I always pick up birthday cards here and spend my sweet time enjoying how big it is. The best part is the most beautiful staff! I like right next to the KS on 120th, but I can't stand that location. Everything is always picked over, the parking lot is always jammed. After reading yelp reviews, I decided to try this location. LOVE IT. Huge, with a really great natural foods section. The produce looked much fresher here and they had everything I was looking for. I got through the lines super quickly, and everything in the store was clean and sorted. There are literally 3 KS locations closer to me, but this is definitely my new home store. read more

I like this King Soopers, although the construction of this store almost makes it feel like a warehouse. Seriously, I think it's too big. On the bright side, I love the selections of bulk items (nuts, candies, etc) and natural foods. The produce and deli are quite stellar, along with the frozen section. Another yelper mentioned the possibility of switching to a nearby Wal-Mart when that's built, but in my experience no Wal-Mart has produce that's worth touching outside of desperation. The employees are always friendly, and willing to help me navigate to items I can't find in this huge store. This is going to sound a little silly, but any King Soopers I go to tends to run out of the 24 oz 6-pack bottles of Diet Mountain Dew. I'm not sure why they can't keep this product stocked as regularly as the non-diet soda. I live on this stuff, so it matters to me. Tap a vein, and give me the Diet Dew! read more

I like this store. Great selection. Produce selection marginal. The major complaint I have is with the Deli. It is a long drawn out process. There are plenty of people working. But only 1-2 people behind meat counter. I have easily waited up to 15 mins or more to get sandwich meat sliced. Very slow service. It is painful. The employees are in slow motion. As a long time shopper at this location, I am finding harder and harder to find the items I shop for. The constant moving of product is frustrating and needless.
