Pacific Ocean Market has been bought by Great Wall Supermarket, a small chain of Asian grocery stores. The bakery has disappeared and the produce area is much bigger than previously. There is still a butcher and fish market, a huge selection of spices, sauce, rice and plenty of other Asian products, and overall the place feels more organized and cleaner than POM. They have also moved the kitchenware in the back (an area that used to be hidden to the public), so you need to look around if you don't find what you need as the store has been a little reorganized. I personally think I'll find everything I need there and won't miss POM.

Great Asian market for just all your needs. A variety of fruits you would not normally see, Such as jackfruit, exported apple pears and plantains. Some nice dim sum desserts, a large selection of steamed buns, ginger candy, fish, jerky, rice, fruit juices and meats. Found some favorites of mine. Happy camper! Large parking area. Masks required.

Huge supermarket with a huge selection of items from East, South, and South East Asia, and there are aisles dedicated to Africa, and Latin America! While the selection was huge, it did seem like some of the meats and fish were not as fresh. The veggies were fresh and a few were on sale at good prices. In addition to food, GW had aisles and aisles of dishware and cooking utensils. This used to be named Pacific Ocean Marketplace. Google shows POM is permanently closed but that's because they are now named Great Wall Supermarket. They are open.

Mold on food
Dina D.

I'm a Chinese from Canada and never seen a store with such bad quality food and safety issues. We recently bought our favourite Chinese dessert - it something you can find at dim sum and you have it for certain cultural festivals. This brand is very famous, we've been buying it for 10+ years However, never in my life did I see something like this. Mold all over the food. - I could have just thrown them to the water as usual without taking a second to look, but this shocked and disgusted me. Contacted the store and they said they are in the process of sorting older stuff out - meaning they will have lots of expired food. Will report this to local authority and please be careful choosing food from this store as it might poison your family.

BEAN CURD SNAAACK cant get this at hmart!
Allison D.

We bought a fluke here that wasn't fresh - we threw out the dish after we cooked it because our stomachs felt funny. On top of that, the store is disorganized and chaotic at checkout. Not as much variety as Hmart. They did have my favorite Taiwanese dried bean curd snack though - which may be the only thing I come back here to buy. Id suggest getting brighter lighting for the store and re-outlining checkout lanes for clarity. Also fresher seafood produce.

Great authentic Chinese options similar to our time in Beijing. Really great Chinese veggies, fixings for jiaozi, etc.

The Spanish speaking staff struggled to understand English, could NOT understand Korean either. That said, he quickly tried to take down my info for the manager to call later - I decided to take a business card instead. The grocery selection was okay, not the best. Lots of patrons and employees working to keep things stocked. The cooked foods section smells delicious - and when I asked about the catering aigm advertised, the employee could not care less. She came off annoyed and brushed off my questions rudely - so I guess they don't cater? Website isn't helpful. Unfortunately, I can't get what I need easily elsewhere so I'm shopping here by default. I cautiously recommend this place - it's not friendly so be prepared to figure it out yourself . As soon as another Asian market comes available, I'll go there instead

It has everything you could ever think of and then more. I enjoyed all the fresh fruit and vegetables immensely. The bakery was really cool. Fish and meat? Wow they have it all! They even have a liquor section tons of wine and sucky. Beers. It's a one stop you got it all here. I enjoyed the little restaurant inside for a cup of soup This place is packed full, so take your time when you get here. Very nice staff and easy checkout. Did I mention there is an Italian and Hispanic section? Hurry in you won't be sorry

Located just up the street from another great grocery (the also-reviewed Bulgarian bazaar known…read moresimply as European Market of Northglenn), Andre's and Lana's will tantalize you with its inventory of items from various parts of the former Soviet Union. As you set foot in the cheery, brightly-lit space, it will undoubtedly be hard to decide which aisle is most worthy of your attention. Are you in search of a nice big loaf of crusty bread (like the ones originating from the Lithuanian bakery AmbeRye)? Oops no, you're looking for spices instead? Maybe you need a little Muskatnyj Orekh (nutmeg), or Gvozdika (cloves) or a premixed blend to help you whip up some Lagman (Uzbek lamb soup), Lobio (Georgian bean stew) or even Morkovcha (spicy Korean-style shredded carrots). Ohhhhhhhhh, I misunderstood - all that cooking has worn you out, and you need to get mellow with a little herbal tea (perhaps a "Northern" or "Taiga" blend, with - respectively - a cute little bunny and owl on the box). You can find all of the above in the market, so don't worry about it by any means. And since you're here anyway, now's a good time to stock up on a few tins of Brētliņa (Latvian sprats) or even Ukha (fish chowder), don't you think? The possibilities are indeed formidable. But guess what? I have even more options for you to ponder. If you're in a meaty mood, see what you think of a link or two of Doktorskaya sausage, or (from the proprietor's homeland) a sizable chunk of Salo (Ukrainian pork fatback). Or, get grainy with packs of hearty Grechka (buckwheat), Polba (spelt), or Yachnevaya (barley), all right at your fingertips. And I naturally can't omit a mention of the condiment/accoutrement selection, including Adzhika (chili relish), Tkemali (tangy plum sauce), and multiple kinds of Med (honey). But I can understand you feeling just a little parched right now with all this food, so why not add some Dyushes (crisp pear soda) or tart Sok Klyukvennyj (cranberry juice) to that basket of yours? The prepared-food section features nostalgic favorites like Kholodets (shredded meat and veggies in aspic) or Selyodka Pod Shuboy (herring covered in an "overcoat" of layers of eggs, beets, and other tidbits). But I want to leave you with a few surprises, so I'll let you discover the rest yourself. Ura!
