This is the closest grocery to our apartment. I can walk here. It is a huge and well laid out Walmart. They have everything you might think you would find here plus more. The people that work here are very nice and friendly. One young lady, actually walked with me to show me where an item was that I wanted. You don't find that Prices are not as expensive as some other groceries but all food is expensive these days. read more

Hubby wanted a single bagel or something similar. I told him most Walmart's have a single muffin and/or bakery goods. sure enough when we visited. They had a separate area where single baked goods were sold. He ended up with a Cinnamon pastry and was quite happy. We did the self check out and were done. Usually a very solid choice for shopping in the area. I think this is the nicer of the three Walmart's around, and it is often a bit less busy than the one at 121st Ave. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I am not used to having a Super Walmart in my town, as I have just moved here. I am in awe of this location! They literally have everything! I am also shocked by how clean they keep it because I know they have a lot of foot traffic. I have only been here twice now, but I've never seen a greeter...where are they? I do find it a little more difficult in a store this big to find staff to help with questions, but I was able to eventually. They have a great check out experience. They have several self check out lanes on both ends of the store. Just be aware...if you go there for 1 item, you'll for sure be leaving with more than intended! read more

Didn't realize that this Walmart was dog-friendly! There were two very obviously untrained dogs in the store tonight, with separate owners. As someone with a service dog, it is very disheartening to see pet dogs in places that are allegedly service animal only. It places my service dog and I in danger, as well as the other customers. Policies are in place for a reason and I'm disappointed that my neighborhood Walmart is not following them. However, the employees are usually very friendly and the store is clean. read more

This poor WalMart is sooo badly understaffed. Like crazy understaffed. I watched a couple check their entire grocery cart of groceries in self checkout for almost 10 minutes. Their total was 350$ so they had a lot but there was not one human checker in the whole building. The two self checkouts were open. The reviews about the ridiculous lines at this store are TRUE. At all hours, every day. The manager is putting his/her bonus ahead of your experience. If it's expected to be a slow time, he will have ONE register open to ensure that cashier has a line at all times (aka. not idle, but you will stand idle in a line at least three deep to buy one item at an empty parking lot store. Self check out will be closed to minimize loss.) During busy times, just forget it. You won't be able to even find the end of the line. This place is staffed for customer levels 10 years ago. The areas population has grown by like 5,000%. The manager is probably collecting one of the biggest bonuses in the Walmart corporation. He certainly is paying for far below minimum required staffing. You are better off driving right PAST this store and going to the 120th ave Westminster or the Sheridan ave store OR go to KingSoopers (You may pay more but what is your time worth? ) or just drive to Target in Superior. You will be home faster from any of those stores - because you won't wait in ridiculous lines at them! The only sensible option for shopping this store is through buy online and pick up. read more

Sat on the phone waiting for someone to answer for five minutes before it hung up on me three times in a row. Tried the operator and tried online pick ups and deliveries. This is really pathetic. Very frustrating experience at this store. I tried to get ahold of their customer service via phone for an hour, and could not get anyone to pick up. I only give them two stars for the deli, which picks up in half a second of calling. This has occurred on several instances. Also, when dropping off photos to get developed via Fuji with a disposable camera, no pick-up occurred and my photos arrived 2 weeks late. I am sad. read more

This Walmart is in the interlocken business district and because of that its very much less crowded than other Walmarts that Ive been too. Every time Ive been here the store is brightly lit, clean and the shelves are always fully stocked and there usually is never a wait at the front check out. This store has a Pharmacy and a Tire and Lube section and also a Subway which makes it an easy location to make this an all inclusive one stop shop for all your basic shopping needs. read more

this is the second time that I've gone to this Walmart, and filled a cart with products that I needed walked up to the cashier and there are no cashiers or just one cashier and a self check out. Both with never ending lines. So you have to wait half an hour to check yourself out or wait a half hour to have a cashier check you out. Both times I have left my cart exactly where it was and walked out the door. Walmart has raise their prices considerably, too much for me to wait in a line for a half hour and check myself out. This has been by far one of the worst experiences I've had in a while. Eileen who works in the back in either photo or the craft section is one of the worst employees I've ever had to deal with. She is extremely rude to customers and her fellow employees! I've had numerous occasions of her treating me and my family like garbage even though we never did anything wrong. Most the time it would be asking a question and then being treated with hostility as if we are supposed to know where everything is. I do not want to go back until she learns how to treat people with respect. If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. Absolutely ridiculous that this is allowed! Grow up Eileen!! read more

At a superstore, it is usually critical to be able to find anything that one is looking for. Fresh grocery, having multiple options to choose from and helpful service are also important. I have been to so many different locations in this state where I needed something I forgot and most times I could find what I needed at Walmart. This location hands down is the best. I've been visiting this Walmart for 7 years. My family is known here by the employees. Everyone is super nice in every department. This particular day I needed to have my new glasses fixed. I walked right in and was helped by a new person I didn't know. She was very attentive and helped me. I was on my way. I live a bit closer to another location but I will still make the drive. It's always clean and not as crowded as others. If there is one negative thing I have to say is the pharmacy closes early so if a prescription is needing to be filled & or picked up after 7pm you will have to go elsewhere. The pharmacy is still the best even if they close early. read more

Waiting in lines is part of the Walmart experience so just expect to wait for a couple families while staring at the candy and telling yourself not to add it to your cart. While visiting this location, I asked an employee near the home decor section where I could find an item. Without looking up from her phone (not walmart technology, her own personal cell phone), she mumbled "in home improvements". I politely asked her which isle, to which she rudely replied "right behind me", still not looking up from her phone. Thankfully, an employee who appeared to be off the clock (no vest or name tag) politely told me which isle I could find the product. I was caught off guard by how rude she was to me. Unfortunately, her hair was covering her name tag, otherwise I would mention that as well. Later, I asked a different employee (Vicky in the meat department) where I could find an item and she politely told me which isle to look the first time. I actually love this Walmart. It is super clean all the time. Everything is easy to find, and it's very open and the biggest plus of all is that it's not crowded like the other Walmarts I've been to. Actually, hands down this is the most UNbusy as Walmart I have ever been to and the clientele is better because of the area, so you don't have a lot of ghetto/trashy people all over the place like most walmart locations. I especially like their prices on automotive products, oil, filters, car detailing supplies, etc... Their stores are clean, modern and their staff is a hit and miss. The staff is hard to find at times and somewhat helpful. I certainly recommend Walmart solely on their cheap prices and not necessarily on their customer service. read more

This is my favorite Wal-Mart store. I drive 10 miles to this one when I want to find something in stock. The clearance bargains are phenomenal. It's not as busy as many of the others, and I have had tire repair done at this location. The staff is always courteous and professional. The only areas I see improvement in are the sad conditions I sometimes find in the bathroom and the lack of price scanners. The signs are still in place, but the scanners are gone. It was an average, meehhhh, 'OK' WalMart when started visiting it back in late 2013. Went straight downhill since then. Their slide downhill has accelerated since Jan. of 2015. Now they do not have staff for the checkouts even on busy days like Sat. & Sun. They're trying to force customers to use their self-check out counters to save on having to hire more checkers. To me, it's ridiculous to go to a store where the cost of employees is figured into the prices, and then not be able to have a checker check out the things we buy. This store is discontinuing products right and left and replacing those better products with cheaper stuffs. Most things that I used to go there for are there no longer. Bad move, walMart. Tried to use a self-checkout recently and their credit card reader was faulty. Would not even read the card. Had just used that card fine at another store. Am going to deliberately avoid this WalMart from now on. Hey, what if WalMart goes out of business? Might open up the market for some real competition!!?!!!! read more

If the AutoCenter is closed they should let you know they are closed rather than waste 90 minutes of my morning! The website says they open at 7:00 so I go down only to see they have a sign outside saying they open at 8:00. So I go inside and there is one guy in there swearing (outloud) that the computer wont' start. At about 7:20 I make an appointment for an oil change and they took my cell number to text me when they would be ready. So it is after 9:00AM and no one, not anyone called or texted to let me know they were unable to do anything. Total utterly useless and incompetence! I would complain about the terrible service but in fact there was ZERO service. read more

Walmart has improved a lot. Unfortunately there are two big problems with this location. First they put video cameras in your face rather than just on the ceiling or the wall which is really obnoxious. But the bigger problem is if you make an online order the only place to pick it up is way in the back of the store. Every time I remember this I abandoned my online orders.
